Erica's POV

"You are ready for discharge now, just ensure to eat, rest and take your medications," The doctor said after checking my reports on his tab. His voice suddenly reminded me he was still there.

I blinked my eyes severally to enable me to concentrate on what he was saying, but thoughts of Damian kept flooding through my mind.

Damian had suddenly evaporated into thin air. He didn't come back last night to check up on me, even when I tried calling him, I can't seem to get through to him on his line.

"I have forwarded the medications she will need to the pharmacy section, you can pick it or once it's ready"

The doctor said, never for once lifting his head from the tab he w

Erica's POV I woke up early. Well not so early, to prepare for my last and final class of the first trimester. Beatrice's other roommates have all gone out. Some for project meetings others to read ahead of the oncoming exams. Beatrice was sitting in her small desk and chair reading her books while munching on a pack of cookies. Students hardly cook when exams are fast approaching, they mainly do take out and snacks. There was a knock on the door and she stood up to go check who it was. I could hear her talk to someone but could not tell who it was because the person only stood outside the door, when they were done, I heard her bid the fellow, farewell as she closes the door behind her. She turned and looked at me with a wild grin

Erica's POVThe car drove for close to twenty to thirty minutes before it came to stop. I couldn't tell where I was, the ride was very exhausting as everyone in the car was very quiet. I personally did not have anything to say I was scared of saying anything to piss off the already pissed off guy beside me. I could feel Damian eyes on me through the dark shades he had on. I tried to steal little glances at him, looking at him I can categorically say Philip was no match to Damian. This guy must be a descendent of Zeus. Damian has this dominating aura he carries with him. He is a fine, tall muscular, easy on the eyes kind of guy. I must confess, I have missed him so much. For a second there I wished we were alone. I long for his

Damian's POV It was suppose to be a normal evening, well not so normal, anything is hardly ever normal these days. I sat in a chair in one of my offices attached to my private suite up town to watch the screen before me. It had different images of people, places and empty rooms showing on the CCTV screen. I was exhausted and stressed beyond words. I look forward to days I will be free to be me and have some time with my girl. The thought of Erica flashed through my mind Just as I was about picking my tablet, my phone rang. I checked to see who it was, the caller ID showed private."Hello?" I said "Hello sir, she just entered a car and they are about driving off, should we sto

Erica's POVI had the sudden urge of wanting his fingers between my already wet folds. "Do you want this?" he asked as his finger slowly slides down my clitoris causing my body to tense. "Please Damian" I moaned out as his finger slides further down inside of me, though not deep enough to hurt, my head rolls back when he took out the finger and slide it in again, his teeth graze my exposed neck as he fucks me a little faster with his thumb massaging my clitoris. He intensifies the pace, and I could feel myself reach my peak, I came undone immediately he slides in the second finger, I screamed while shivering under his grip. Erica's POVI woke up, having the feeling of soreness between my legs. I stretched as I looked around to find that I was all alone in the now neatly made bed. I was wearing one of Damian's shirts and his boxers. I don't remember how I got into this new set of clothes. And where the heck is he? Just then, the hotel room door opened and closed as he walked in looking all shades of sexy. He was holding a shopping bag. "Good morning beautiful," he said dropping the shopping bag on the bed "I got you a few clothes you can wear for now" he continued while taking off his shoes as he joined me on the bed. "Good morning" I answered as his lips joins mine in a happy reunion. "Where did you go to," I asked? "To the station, I was told Philip is awake now and they needed some information from me" "What information, I thought they should be interviewing me not you," I said. "I wanted to save you the stress as my princess," He said, and that brought smiles to my face. "so what did they ask

My phone rang, and I picked to answer the caller "you can come in sir" one of my guards said. We all came down and went in while I held Erica's hand, she looked beautiful in the short black sequins jumpsuit she had on, and her hair flowed down her shoulder. I was getting uncomfortable with all the stares and glares she was getting from guys in the VIP section. I stylishly removed my jacket and threw it over her bare shoulders, not that anyone would dare hit on her, I was just trying to stake my claim to wade off any intending intruders. We got to our private booth and we sat down. while Beatrice and Lucas were ushered to a different private booth. one of the bartenders came to take our orders. Two weeks later Erica's POV We came back from my father's funeral, and there were lots of guests in the house. The funeral reception was held at the beach. There were so many people trooping in and out of the compound. I was only familiar with a handful of them, most of them came through Damian. All his effort to keep private how rich he was, has been soiled. Every newspaper and magazine house has managed to uncover more companies that are privately owned by him. They are even recommending him for the presidency after his unbiased sentiment at Sophia and Cassandra's trial. He has recruited more security guards for me and Alex since I left the hospital. I told him I would like to go back to work after all things said and done. He is still thinking about it. "Hi, Erica or should I say, ma'am?" Frank said smiling while

Its been three months since Erica was poisoned by Sophia and her cohorts. It's been difficult going through every day uncertain of what my next call will be about. I tried to stay strong if for nobody, but for Alex, who has been constantly asking about when his mother will be coming back. That is a question I don't have an answer to, but hopeful that one day I will hold her in my hands again, and we would laugh and joke about all that we have been through. Those days may look like a fairy tal

  • Damian Anderson   Chapter 54

Erica's POV I stood at my mirror staring at the white dress I had on, with my makeup lightly done, and my hair packed to one side. I was beautiful on the outside but was a total wretch on the inside. I had some point wishes at some point, I was the bride. I can't believe how my decision was about to change my life either for the better or the worst. My mind drifted to the first time I saw Damian in my room back in the university, we had a connection. I knew he was always going to be the one that made my heart mad or merry. I knew he was always going to be that fire that I will gladly be consumed in. I thought of how many troubles we have been together and the years we have spent apart. I can't believe this whole dumb idea came from me. I heard a car horn from outside my apartment as I worked to the window to go see who it was. The driver came down from the car and I recognized him as one of Damian's drivers. He was the same man that drove me t

Erica's POV With just two days to the wedding, I was starting to grow cold feet over the decisions I made weeks ago. I had gone home to drop Alex with my parents and decided to spend some time with them. Cassandra has been acting up and I seriously wish that she doesn't show up for the wedding, that she should stick with the original plan. It would break my heart to see Damian be separated from me again. "Hey pumpkin" dad called from where he was seated to get my attention. "Yes dad" I answered rolling my eyes. I wonder why he still calls me pumpkin, someone needs to tell him, I am a grown-ass woman now. "Have you seen this?" He asked pointing to the magazine he had been reading to me, I went closer to him to see what he was trying to show me. On getting there, I discovered it was the picture of Cassandra and Damian Photoshop together. I felt sad, Cassandra looked happy in the picture, what if she decides to go ahea

Erica POV It's been two weeks since I resumed at the head office, working here has been a lot of fun, and If anything, I did not see my happy ending coming so soon, especially not in those days I was struggling between school, and baby, and work. It was a tough road, but I'm glad I finally found my happiness. I sat in my new office, going through some documents that has been placed on my table. The head office is different from my previous office, this one was larger and well equipped. The environment is nice and very comfortable to work in. My office is on the ninth floor, and I have just a handful of others here with me. I was told the tenth floor is for the CEO only and that no one is allowed in unless, of course, he authorizes it. My office is spacious and beautiful. I have a fridge that has different drinks and snacks, a comfortable space where I can take a nap, and a beautiful view from outside my window. I also have access to an official car that would be given to me anyti

Cassandra's POV After the show, we sat down, counting our money backstage. the business has been very slow lately because people that come to the club these days hardly spend as they should. Big spenders do not come to locally owned clubs for their own safety sake, as there have been reports of extortion, robbing, and drugs being slipped into the customer's drink. So they rather go to big clubhouses, where they are assured of security and safety precautions. "What's up with you and Damian?" Sophia asked, after some time of watching me arrange my money. "Nothing much, he has found his girl and making plans to discard me soon," I said in a sad tone. "So after all these years, he still loves and wants her," Sophia said, a lot of envy is evidence in her tune. I have been friends with Sophia for close to five years now. We first met when she came as an escort with another Mafia Don that was killed by Gabriel. He then took possession of her and made her his whore. She told me of how

Erica's POV "So what is going to happen now?" I asked after a long time of silence. Cassandra was sitting close to me, while Damian stood at the far end of the sitting room. We have been deliberating on how to handle the marriage issue between Damian and Cassandra. The press has gotten wind of it, and it was slowly becoming the talk of the town. I just sat down there feeling bad and guilty, because I somehow feel this was my fault. I mean, if I had just accepted Damian the first time we met, all these troubles won't be happening. "I'm so sorry guys, I did not know how this got out so fast," Cassandra said, sounding genuinely sorry, from her tone of voice. "It's alright Cassandra," Damian said as he walks towards us. "I should be the one saying sorry, I should have just told him it was a rumor when he called me, I am so confused, this is why I hate bringing press into my personal life, they have a way of escalating things," Damian
