I wake to a smell I haven’t whiffed in over three years. Loyalty is making pancakes! But I’m completely disappointed when I step out of the guest bedroom to find that Jonny is already in the kitchen with her, and my daughter is at the table stuffing her face with pancakes and strawberries. No syrup, no butter! Her dietary habits are uncanny to that of Loyalty, to the point it almost grosses me out. But hey, if the kid looks just like me, at least she’d have that of Loyalty! “Ooo how I’ve missed these pancakes”, I tell her and she giggles as I roll one up and stuff a bite into my mouth. Then I had a seat at the table with Stephany. When Loyalty is done, Jonny helps her move everything from the kitchen to the table, and when she looks around confused, he jumps back up and grabs a bottle from the counter and hands it to her. She smiles, and when she is done squeezing some on her plate to dunk her pancakes into, I have a look at the bottle. It’s some organic strawberry purée!

~AMORY~ I wake up the next morning in just a tee and panties, thankful that I’m alone in the bed at least! I was startled out of my sleep when a large heavy body crashed into the super soft and bouncy mattress. “What the hell Spin”, I managed to get out before checking what time it was. “Is the baby okay”? “Our daughter is fine, I’m ready to make another one with you”, he says, causing me to glare and throw a pillow at him. The first thing I feel is Loyalty lifting the side of her face off my chest. Then her soft hand caresses my cheek like the very first night she ever slept in my arms. I open my eyes to look at her and she doesn’t startle this time, “baby girl, I have to get ready for work”. I gently roll her to the side of me and sit up to shake off my sleep. I hear Spin yelling before I really register what’s going on. I’m wedged between the back of my sofa and Jonny’s warm firm chest. My first thought is Loyalty, as I jump from the bed and nearly stumble over the shoes she must have worn last night. They’re dropped on the floor next to her purse like she was in a rush to get to bed because she’s so OCD she would never have done that on purpose. I continued to her bedroom to find it empty.
