A FEW YEARS LATER:-
ZEUS' POV:-
I looked at myself in the mirror. Admired the way I look. I was wearing a v-neck gray t-shirt with black skinny jeans. It was the fourteenth birthday of Dabria. "You have to wear a tuxedo. It is her birthday. We need to look amazing. I want her eyes on our butt all day." Zaric spoke in an annoyed tone and I chuckled. I could not help myself. He was always very cautious and possessive about Dabria. Even though he knew her better than me. But still he had to say things that made absolutely no sense when it came to Dabria. I squeezed some gel out of the tube and styled my hair with it.
"You know well, Zaric. No matter who is standing in front of her, our princess only looks at us. So your stupid conclusions are way too stupid for me. Just calm down. She will love to see whatever I am wearing." I replied to my wolf while rolling my eyes at his dramatic acts he always pulled on her birthday. Once my hair was done, I grabbed the bottle of the perfume Dabria had gifted me on my birthday. I sprayed the perfume all over my body. To be honest, her gifted perfumes were always the best. And sometimes I even wondered why I could not choose perfumes like her.
Once I was ready, I jumped out of the window in my bedroom and ran towards the garage. Usually, I would run all the way to her territory, but this time I decided to change. Well, definitely, it was nothing like I was going to the end of the street. Dabby's territory was in North Louisiana. And we lived in South Louisiana. But it was nothing for me to run towards her territory. I was the fastest werewolf. And it was nothing for me to run that far. But this time, I decided to drive there. I hopped into my truck and my driver drove off.
There were still three hours to pass till midnight. The driver drove as fast as he could. The music was playing loud and I was humming with the song. I was excited. I had not seen her for four months. I went for training as Pa wanted me to. I came back a few hours ago and I did not even lie down. I showered and changed. While coming back home, I bought some gifts for her. It was her birthday. And I knew she was always excited to see what I would give her. It was the only thing she was excited about her birthday. Actually, she was always excited to see me on her birthday.
It took me five hours to finally reach her territory. And as expected, they were celebrating the death day of the evil Eve, as they called it. That innocent woman was evil for them. I just never understood that festival in the Cerberus territory. Instead of celebrating the birthday of the only heiress of the territory, they celebrated the day of death of a woman who died a long time ago. We were never told what actually happened there. What actually happened to that woman. But I heard ma and Aunt Evangeline talking about Eve that something horrible happened to that woman. And no one actually was allowed to even say her name. The vampire king, the ass hat, was too afraid of her to even let her name stay alive.
The driver parked the car in front of the Palace of Cerberus. I grabbed all the bags filled with all the gifts I had bought for her. Then I made my way towards the Palace. The Palace's gates were open. It was very unlikely. As uncle Hayden always kept the gates closed on that day. He was always worried about Dabby. I stepped into the Palace and sighed. I saw Aunt Eva crying crazily. Uncle Hayden was standing beside her, rubbing her back to calm her down. It was enough for me to understand that there was something wrong with Dabby.
I dropped all the bags on the floor and ran towards Aunt Eva. As she saw me, she opened her arms for me. I hugged her as I knew she needed that. "It's okay, Aunt Eva. I am here now. Everything is going to be alright. Just calm down for a minute and tell me what is wrong. Why are you crying? Where is my princess?" I asked her while rubbing her back to help her calm down. Hearing about Dabby, she cried more. I sighed as I knew it was useless to ask Aunt Eva about Dabby if she was in trouble.
I broke the hug and stood up. As I already knew, a vampire must have abducted her. It was because of an evil witch who predicted Dabria's future. She predicted that whoever would take her virginity, would be the Alpha of the hundred territories. And ever since then, Dabby started disappearing very often. Rogues, douchebag sons of Alphas, vampire Masters or any ordinary creatures, it never really mattered. All they wanted was to abuse her so they could have what they want, power. And since then, I have been protecting her like a guardian. Because I was the only one who could catch her scent.
I sniffed the air first. Then I took a deep breath. I had caught her scent. It was not long when she left the Palace. I was about to start following the scent when I felt uncle Hayden's hand on my shoulder. I turned around to face him. "She is not abducted this time. Ever since the clock ticked to midnight, she started screaming. It was just like her first birthday. She was not calming down at all. She was afraid of something. I heard her asking for help. She was screaming ``make it stop. Please. Stop. Don't hurt her. Stop hurting her. If anyone can find her and help her, it's you Zeus. Please find my baby girl." He said in a pleading tone and I nodded my head. I almost felt sorry for him. She was his only daughter and he loved her so much.
I started running, following the trail of her scent. The trail took me towards the woods. It made me worried too. I knew her better than her own parents. And I knew how terrified she was of the dark. There was no way she could be in the forest this late at night. But where her scent trail was going, I kept running in that direction. After about five minutes, the trail ended. I looked around and of course I knew where she was. She did not run anymore. She climbed up.
It was the same treehouse uncle Hayden and Pa had built for us when we were kids. I climbed up the tree and reached the treehouse. I must mention that our treehouse was almost luxurious too. It had three compartments. One for me, once for Dabby and one for Moon. And a roof. Whenever Dabby was feeling low, I would take her to the roof. We would sleep there. It was one of the sweetest memories we had that were attached with that tree house. Moon did not come here much but me and Dabby, we still come here. Sometimes to remember our childhood and sometimes just to be alone with each other.
ZEUS' POV:-I stepped into the treehouse and looked around. I smiled as I heard her sobbing quietly. I followed her voice and found her lying on her bed. She was almost lying in the fetal position. A smirk appeared on my face as I heard her sobbing. It took me a few moments to understand that I was satisfied with her sobs. It was very unlikely of me. I could never bear to see tears in her eyes. But for the first time, I liked that sound. It was definitely something I was unable to understand. And I was not sure why I felt that way.I took a deep breath and pushed all the thoughts aside. I went towards her and grabbed her ankles. She gasped loudly as I pulled her to lie straight on the bed. Then I hovered over her. Her sobs faded away. She started breathing heavily. Her eyes still had tears in it. But they were no long
DABRIA'S POV:-A FEW YEARS LATER:-I opened my eyes again and looked around. I lazily sat up on my comfy bed. Zar raised his head as soon as he saw me awake. He snuggled up with me and started licking my cheek. I smiled widely. It felt like he was worried about me. I patted his head and kissed his forehead. "I can't remember what happened. Do you know what happened? I just remembered a tall man in a tuxedo. He dragged me away. I can't remember what happened then." I asked Zar in a low tone, hoping he would answer me. I was just a fool. Expecting my pet wolf to tell me what happened to me. Or maybe I was just tired.I heard a light knock on the door of my bedroom. I turned my head towards the door and found dad standing at the door. He had this proud smile on his face. And a hint of concern in his eyes. His eyes
DABRIA'S POV:-I opened my eyes again as I felt Zar licking my cheeks. I stretched my arms above my head and looked at him. I no longer felt that coldness inside my body. I sat up on the bed and looked around. My room was still dark. I crawled out of the bed and peeled my clothes off. "Come on, Zar. We are going to take shower together. I haven't been taking care of you all this long." I spoke to Zar as I walked into the bathroom. Zar followed me excitedly. I just knew that dogs were never that happy to have a shower. But Zar was not a dog. I knew he was a wolf. He was taller than me in height.Zar reached to my shoulders while he was on his four feet. I never knew how tall he would be while on his two feet. Instead of the shower, I filled the tub with warm water. I added my favourite jasmine fragrance and some soup, then stepped into the warm water. Za
DABRIA'S POV:-I walked towards my father and bowed my head in front of him. He stood up and walked towards me. He engulfed me in his arms and I also wrapped my arms around him. I pulled away from him as I heard Zar's overprotective growl. Dad chuckled softly and I kissed Zar's face. "Dad! What is going on? What did I miss? This is Eve's statue, right?" I asked my dad after a minute. I felt like I was in a different territory. Where my father could loudly announce how brave and courageous woman Eve really was. And how he always told that he was proud of her. It was never allowed to even say her name out loud. Keeping her gold statue in the hall of throne was something I had never expected."Let's go somewhere else. Where we both can sit and talk. There is so much more for me to tell you. And I am sure you are impatient too." My dad spoke in a low tone while s
DABRIA'S POV:-After a few minutes, a man stepped into the kitchen. He had this wide smile on his face as he saw me. He walked closer towards me and bowed his head in front of me. "This is Ryan. One of the most powerful vampires I have ever known. Not just that. He was called the eclipse. We all feared him and his loyalty to Adrian. But then, he became loyal to Eve. She saved his life." Dad added after a minute. I was staring at that man. He sure looked so familiar. After a minute, I remembered. I used to have nightmares about him too. I stood up from my chair and walked towards him. I touched his cheek and everything he had been through, flashed in front of my eyes. For a moment, I felt dizzy and was about to fall on my butt, but Zar was already standing behind me. He caught me at the right time. "Are you alright, my Mistress?" Ryan asked me in a worried tone while lookin
DABRIA'S POV:- This place was supposed to be the place where I had the best time of my life. Whenever I used to hear Eve's painful cries, I always ran towards this place. And hid inside my room. I was glad that dad made this tree house for me. But because everything that happened between Zeus and I, I just stopped coming to the treehouse. It was painful for me to remember the time we had spent in this place. I never understood why Zeus changed that much within a few years. I was his princess. I was actually the only woman he had ever laid his eyes on. And yet, he became so barbaric when our time came. He became so barbaric that he crushed all my dreams under his heels. There was not a single day I had not thought about him. I tried not to remember anything about Zeus. Because I just couldn't bear that pain anymore. Every time anyone m
DABRIA'S POV:- I opened my eyes and gasped loudly. There was a tall and muscular man lying beside me on the bed. He was lying naked beside me. Zar was nowhere to be found. I opened my mouth to scream as loudly as I could. But before I could wake up the whole palace, my screams were muffled behind a strong palm. He covered my mouth with his hand firmly. As I knew he was naked, my eyes were closed before I even opened my mouth to scream. "Shhh… don't you dare scream." As his voice made its way to my ears, I instantly opened my eyes. My eyes widened in horror as I saw his face again. I thought I would never see his face again in my life. "I am going to pull my hand away. If you scream, I swear I will tell you how angry I can get. You will not scream. Got it?" He asked me in his same low and deep voice. I gulped hard and nodded my head. He pulled
DABRIA'S POV:-My heart skipped a beat or two when my brain started processing his words. I just didn't want to accept his words. If it was really him all this long around me, I was literally doomed. I had bathed with Zar. I had changed in front of him. Worst of all, I was walking buck ass nude in front of him most of the time when we were alone in the room. A mischievous grin appeared on his face as he pushed me back in the metrus and hovered over me. My breath hitched as he pinned me with the metrus. He interviewed his fingers with mine as he leaned over towards my neck. I closed my eyes and whimpered softly as I felt his warm breaths touching my skin.I shivered when the tip of his nose touched the sensitive skin of my neck. He actually knew every single sensitive point of my body. And he knew how to use those spots against me. "I meant that it was me all this long. I was the one bat
DABRIA'S POV:-I was playing with my fingers nervously. Zeus came from behind and wrapped one of his arms around my shoulders. I looked at his handsome face and smiled. "What makes you nervous, Princess? You are born to be the Queen." Zeus whispered in my ear, making me shiver in pleasure under his touch.A small smile spreaded on my face as Zeus leaned in and placed a soft kiss on my forehead. Someone cleared their throat, making both Zeus and I jump in surprise. We turned our gazes and found King Vlad standing in front of us. I smiled and bowed my head."Anything else you want to tell me about Xanus?" King Vlad asked us in a serious tone. I blinked a few times as I remembered the conversation between king Xanus and my Uncle. "I remember a little conversation between Uncle Adrian and King Xanus. He attacked us with dragon flames, as I told you. Uncle Adrian was asking him about the disappearance of the last king of the dragon kingdom." I replied to King Vlad in a low tone. I found i
THIRD PERSON'S POV:-The squad entered the palace of the werewolf kingdom using the way Phantom's soul indicated to Adrian after he died. His soul was already taken away. Eve wanted to follow Dabria as she was concerned about the wellbeing of the squad. But Adrian grabbed her hand and stopped her. "Let go of me." Eve hissed at Adrian. Adrian narrowed his head with a sad look on his face. "They need to do it on their own. We can't interfere. At least, not until we feel the need to help them. Let's just have some faith in them." Adrian whispered softly as he turned his gaze towards his niece. Dabria smiled softly and nodded her head confidently. Eve was confused as she looked at all four of them. They were behaving unbelievably confident facing a feo that they knew nothing about. Adrian nodded his head at Dabria, as a good luck gesture. Holding her head high like a queen she was, Dabria stepped out of the secret passage. They made their way straight towards the throne hall. Dabria a
THIRD PERSON'S POV:-The Commander of the werewolf kingdom was dragging Zeus deep into the woods to get rid of him for good. Zeus' eyes were closed. Zaric could only feel darkness that was starting to thicken up. As if, there was hope left for both of them. "Wake up, Zaric!" Dabria's voice echoed in Zeus' mind, making Zaric push his way out of Zeus' consciousness.Zaric pushed the commander and backed away. Due to all the wolf's bane in Zeus' system and the silver needles that were jabbed in Zeus' neck, Zaric felt weak. He couldn't do much. But for sure, he could do enough to save Zeus. Zaric looked up at the commander and his eyes widened in surprise. Zaric never expected to see that face again in his life. With shaking legs, Zaric stood up on his feet again. "You! You are alive! How can you be alive? I thought you would have died along with Charlie." Zaric growled at the commander, eyeing the man in front of him in shock. What made Zaric so shocked were the claims that man used to m
DABRIA'S POV:-I was pacing back and forth, waiting for someone I had called to help me. Ocean tried to contact King Vlad. But the dark magic around was way too powerful for Ocean to keep up to. Since Uncle Adrian was determined not to leave Ocean and I on our own, I had to improvise. It had been a few hours since Uncle Adrian brought us far away from that Island. Although we were pretty far away, I could still feel the darkness around the place. "Is everything alright, Dabria? Your message sounded more… panicked?" I heard Eve's voice from behind and I quickly turned around. I walked towards her and grabbed her hands. "You are finally here. I have been waiting for you." I whispered while staring into her eyes. I was fighting the urge to cry. "Nothing is fine. We went to the island. But they were actually expecting us. We were ambushed. Uncle Adrian brought Ocean and I here. While Moon and Zeus were left behind." I explained everything to Eve as fast as I could. My tears started flo
THIRD PERSON'S POV:-Dabria felt a consoling hand on her shoulder. It made her turn her head to look at the person who was standing behind her. She found a concerned look on Adrian's face. "I did whatever I could have done to make sure the future is secured. If I can kill my own mate for the future, I can do anything to make sure the future is secured." Adrian spoke in a low tone, making Dabria growl in anger. She stood up, slapping Adrian's hand off of her shoulder. Adrian clenched his fists as he pulled his gaze off of his niece. "Your selfish excuse is not enough for me. I want to go back. If anything happened to Zeus, I will never forgive you." Dabria yelled at Adrian angrily.Adrian gritted his teeth as he couldn't just take her there. He took a step closer towards Dabria and pinched her chin lightly. "Going back there blindly doesn't prove your bravery. It proves that you are nothing but a fool." Adrian tried to reason with Dabria. But he was not so sure if she would even try to
THIRD PERSON'S POV:-A few days after the coronation, the squad decided to continue their journey towards the werewolf kingdom. Kart's pack was already settled in the vampire kingdom, since their Alpha was now the crowned king of the vampire kingdom. Moon announced peace among all the creatures living in the kingdom. Cerberus territory decided to stay behind. Moon was leaving Hayden and Derek in charge behind his back. Knowing well that both of them would be able to handle the whole kingdom in Moon's absence. It was hardest for them to leave their children behind. The plane landed away from the borders of Svalbard. The squad was going to go through a yacht towards Svalbard. It was one place that scared all of them.Unlike the vampire kingdom, no one actually knew anything about what was happening in the werewolf kingdom. The king had killed all the magical beings that were resident in his kingdom. He left not a single enchantress or fae to convey any information from the werewolf king
THIRD PERSON'S POV:-Moon stood up and looked at his surroundings. His lips curled up in a wide grin as he appreciated the artwork he had created in the hall. The wall, the throne, marbled ground and even the ceiling was painted red with the thick dead blood of vampire king Austin. Late vampire king, actually. Moon turned around and zoomed out of the hall. He wanted to see his mate. Adrian's words were still echoing in his ears.As soon as Moon got out, he growled at his brother. Zeus was using his own healing abilities to heal Ocean. But all Moon could think of at that time was that Ocean was unconscious and Moon's brother had his hands on Ocean's chest. There was nothing more he saw at that moment.Dabria's eyes turned towards Moon as she noticed the presence of something dark and monstrous. Moon was about to get to Zeus, his murderous glare was fixed in Zeus. Dabria also ran in their direction and before Moon could get anywhere closer to Zeus, Dabria was standing between Moon and Z
THIRD PERSON'S POV:-The squad entered the palace within no time. Adrian stood in front of the door that led straight into the king's chambers. He turned around and looked at Dabria, as if asking her to do something. "Why are you staring at me like this?" Dabria asked in a confused tone, staring at Adrian nervously."Bearing the blood of the Cerberus, for now, you are the only one who can open this door. Make a small incision on your palm then place your bloody palm inside this circle." Adrian added on a low tone. Nodding her head, Dabria walked in front. She dug her fangs in her palm. Blood oozed from her palm. She smudged her blood on her hand and placed it in the middle of the circle. Green lights erupted in the door as it started to unlock. "Is it fairy magic? How did you get a fairy to do it for you?" Fin'esia couldn't help but ask Adrian in a horrified tone. All eyes turned towards Adrian, as they were all left shocked with the questions Fin'esia just asked Adrian. "Yes! It's ro
THIRD PERSON'S POV:-"Why would you end the passage in the middle of the siren's territory? Isn't it dangerous?" Dabria asked her uncle as they all followed Adrian. The others decided to stay quiet as they knew well, Adrian was no angel. They were all afraid of Adrian guiding them in the middle of the siren's territory. Although Dabria somehow was more powerful than the demon himself, they still couldn't forget how Adrian tried to kill Dabria in front of their eyes. Not to mention, he forced her to become a monster. "Exactly!" Adrian turned his head and responded. A confused frown appeared in Dabria's face as she heard Adrian.Adrian didn't stop. He kept on walking into the forest. He felt Dabria's confusion. He could almost imagine a frown on her face. "What do you actually mean?" Dabria asked after a few seconds, making Adrian halt his steps so suddenly. Dabria almost bumped into Adrian's back if it was not for Zeus who had pulled Dabria backwards. He wrapped one of his arms around
