And --- for your information I already said I'm not interested in you .please leave my office or else I may Involve security "- Edward said with his cold tone.It would be lie if I say laura not afraid of him .She is shivering but dare to throw a question on him which woke up beast in him .

" You are still stuck with that bitch right .? Shameless bitch who ditched you without any concern-- Her words didn't come to an end .

She was pinned to the wall by the throat. Edward's eyes became red in anger .

" Dare you speak another word about her,I will chop you into pieces.It's our personal problem, don't mess with me ."- He said while throwing her on the ground harshly .

Laura ran away while vowing to get revenge on him .

He looks broken . Of Course why won't he .He loved her dearly .She loved him deeply but her sudden disappearance without a word made him broken .

I admit we had a fight before you left but it's not a suitable reason to abandon me right .? 

Ring ..ring ..He lifted the call without checking the I'd .

" Son, come back home soon ,We had a family gathering , don't forget ,love you son take care ,"- his mother dropped the call without giving a chance for him to refuse .

His mother is trying to set him up with the girls for a date but here this hero is stuck with his childhood sweetheart .

He immersed himself in work .Time flewed quickly .He didn't know this dinner gathering would bring something unexpected to his life .

*Ring ring *- his phone disturb him 

*Son, are you on your way home .?"- his mother's question made him startled .If he says no she will throw tantrums.

" Mom I will be in front of you in 20 mins "- he said dropped the call .He immediately stood up & left all the work on the table .

" Canor asks the driver to be ready .I need to go home quickly "- Edward said while making his way to the private lift .

After entering the basement he quickly hopped into his limited edition car .

" To home " - he said, closing his eyes to relax .

*Mom I'm home **- he declared while dropping his coat on the sofa .

" Bro how am I looking "- His little sweet sister -Effie asked while rotating around to show a better view of her dress .

" Of Course my Effie is so beautiful as always "- he said while kissing her forehead .

"Son we are getting late .go & fresh up be quick "- ordered his sweet mom .

Edward didn't question her further .To where .?

"Is it a good idea to bring Edward to dinner.? I mean Edward & amara are not on good terms .what if he creates any problem there? "- asked Edward dad to his wife .

" No problem, I will handle him . don't take stress "- his wife assured him .

" If you insist ,I will be rest assured"- Edward's father said .

Effie stayed silent .She knows what's coming in the future .

"Mom dad I'm ready .let's go "- Edward said while coming downstairs .He looks handsome as usual .

His parents nodded & they started their journey to Destination .

" Brother, where is my surprise? You said na you will give it to me as soon as I reach home .?"- I pouted my lips .

" Ok now getup ,go to your room ,you will see it "- he said .I hurriedly got up from my seat .

" Baby you should get ready ,we had a dinner gathering today .Hurry up "- my mom said I frowned .

Why all of sudden but I didn't question her as the wealthiest family. It's common in our house to hold these so-called dinner gatherings frequently which I hate the most .I should plaster a fake smile throughout the dinner .

Ok I came back to my room & saw a big gift box in my bed .I quickly opened it .

Saw a beautiful dress along with accessories & hells .

I quickly went to the bathroom,took a hot bath while dancing .I know my brother is the best .I'm so eager to wear the dress because it looks so beautiful .

I quickly wrapped a towel around my body & went outside, took matching undergarments & got into the dress .

Wow ..only a word left from my mouth .The dress looks stunning .It's  a royal navy blue colour knee length shirt .With full sleeves ,the dress is shining like glitters .I just loved it .

After drying my long soft hair .I neatly secured one side with a pin & left hair open .I wore matching accessories which my brother bought for me .A matching bracelet and watch on my left hand .

I'm not a fan of makeup ,but little mascara ,eyeliner ,kajal ,a slight blush on my cheeks & finally my favourite nude lipstick to my soft lips .mm Perfect .

I'm looking stunning wow ..

I quickly wore heels & grabbed my phone & went downstairs hurriedly to show my look to my parents & brothers .

" Wow .. princess you look stunning "praised  my father ,I returned a beautiful smile.

" Mm not bad the dress I bought is good "- here comes my teasing Brother .

Not now .

"Brother " - I nagged while pouting sadly 

" Ok no pouting you are my baby sis , You look obviously like my princess " he said while kissing my forehead .That's my bro .

" Don't you want another surprise.?"- he asked. I nodded hurriedly .I love surprises .

" ok open it & look what's there inside "-he handed me a small cute gift box .I hurriedly opened it .I jumped on him to see the car keys inside the gift .

" Let's go, the car is in the garage"- my bro said while we followed him excitedly .

" Here it's go & remove the cover " - I did as he said .

My eyes widened in surprise .It's the limited edition car which was released in the market yesterday only .It's so impossible to buy in a day because we should have booked it months before.

I covered my mouth ,tears started their way .

" Shu .. princess I ordered it for you 6 months ago .it's just arrived yesterday . Don't cry & spoil your makeup " - he said while clearing my tears .

" Thank you so much bro .I love you so much " - I said and gave him a kiss on his cheeks .

" No don't do that "- he won't allow anyone to kiss him on cheeks because he feels shy ..haha .

" Congratulations princess, let's go back, it's almost time ,they must arrive at any moment "- mom said we nodded & went inside .

" See, speaking of them, they are here " - mom declared .

All of sudden my heart beat raised .My back facing to them .I felt his presence .Is it real or am I just thinking too much .

" Welcome Mr & Mrs . Harrison ."- I could hear their voices .

" Let's cut the formality bestie"- it's an aunty voice .My heart skipped a beat .

So it's real he is here .I took a deep breath. I need to face him today or tomorrow .With that thought I turned towards them .

My breathing hitched when I saw he is already seeing me with unknown emotions in his eyes . Automatically my eyes filled with tears .I quickly broke eye contact with him .I can't see hate in his eyes .I just can't I still love him .it's my fault to leave him alone but I did it for our own good .I wish he will understand me .

I never thought our first meeting after years would be this unexpected .
