Farrell

“Delilah?” I asked with a shaky voice. I didn’t even care how desperate I sounded. I just needed to hear her voice again.

“Mr. Farrell?” Her voice came through the phone, soft and cheerful. But something felt wrong. Why did she call me Mr. Farrell?

“Yes, it’s me. Where are you?” I asked quickly, hope growing inside me.

“Oh my goodness,” she said. “Thank God you’re fine now. I’m so happy you’re back. Now I can finally sleep in peace.” Her words warmed my heart, but they also confused me. Why did she sound like a stranger?

“I need you to come back right now. That’s an order,” I said firmly. I didn’t mean to sound harsh, but I couldn’t help it.

“I’m sorry, sir… I can’t come back,” she replied. Her voice was soft, but her words cut through me like a blade. “I don’t work for you anymore. I just got a new job at a steel company. I think I like it. Please be happy for me. I only called to speak with Dwayne… to ask how you were doing. Now that I know you’re okay… I have to go.”

SOMEWHERE IN A HIDDEN MAGICAL KINGDOM The morning sun rose slowly over the tall green trees. A soft breeze moved through the air, but something felt heavy in the wind, like the sky itself was holding its breath. Inside a quiet valley hidden by mountains and protected by magic, there was a small clinic made of white stones and glowing crystals. Around the clinic, many Lycans stood in silence. Their heads were bowed. Some whispered prayers. Some just closed their eyes and hoped. Everyone looked worried. Inside the clinic, it was busy. Healers were moving fast but carefully. Some carried glass bowls filled with herbs. Others brought small glass jars filled with glowing potions. There was a strange energy in the room, like something very important was happening. In the center of the room, lying on a soft bed made from moonlight silk, was a woman. She was very still. Her skin was pale. Her long blonde hair lay across her shoulders like white silk. The healers moved around her with gre

Far away from the kingdom, in the heart of the city of Milton, King Maxwell lay silently on a large bed inside a luxurious hotel suite. The room was beautiful, the windows wide and clean, letting in the light of the setting sun. Yet, none of it touched him. His head rested on a soft pillow, his eyes staring blankly at the ceiling above him. He looked lifeless. Ever since he lost his mate, Delilah, everything inside him had broken. His wolf grieved loudly in his mind, howling day and night, angry and heartbroken. At first, Maxwell had to fight to stop his beast from going on a killing spree. Then came silence. A dangerous, painful silence that settled deep within him. He had lost his connection to his mate. It felt like his soul had been taken from his body. He had not returned to the palace since. He couldn’t. It was too painful to be there without her. The empty space she left behind was too large. Every corner reminded him of her. Her scent, her laughter, her soft voice. Even the

Farrell This world still felt strange, but I had made up my mind, I was going to live in it the best way I could. Every day, I was learning new things. As much as I love my name. I have come to terms with being called, Mr. Bennett. They said I had a rich, powerful life and a business to run. My assistant, Dwayne, was helpful. He never pressured me. He always answered all my questions, no matter how small or strange they were. I don't know anything about this place or these people, but I knew one thing for sure: I loved Delilah. In this world, they said she was just a maid. That I had only been obsessed with her. But my heart knew something else. She was my mate. No matter what they called her here, she belonged to me. And I was going to love her, protect her, and give her everything. Money didn’t mean much to me. If I have to give some of it away to keep the peace, I would. My stepmother could take the house or some land. I didn’t care. I didn’t even want to know why her name was

Farrell The car came to a smooth stop in front of a tall, shining building. It was one of the tallest I had ever seen. Maybe sixty floors high, standing proudly like a tower among the clouds. Its walls were made of glass that reflected the morning sun like diamonds. One of my bodyguards came quickly to open the car door. I stepped out and looked up at the building. It was grand. Powerful. Like it was built for kings. We walked toward the glass doors, and the moment I stepped inside, all eyes turned to me. People stopped talking. Some even froze. Their faces showed one thing, fear. Maybe I had that kind of presence in this world. Maybe the real Mr. Bennett was someone they all feared deeply. A woman at the reception quickly stood. “Welcome, sir,” she said, her voice shaking slightly. I nodded without a word. Another person greeted me. Then another. All of them looked surprised that I had come to the office today. I just kept walking forward like I belonged here…because somehow,

She was now sitting on the edge of my desk, legs pressed tightly together, trying to resist the pull between us. But her body... her heart… I could feel them calling to mine. I couldn’t look away. She was everything I had longed for. I had missed her for so long. My chest ached just staring at her. Even in this strange world, far from our pack and far from our truth, she still belonged to me. No matter the timeline. No matter the lies. She was mine. This had to be a gift from the Moon Goddess. She knew I wouldn’t survive without Delilah. Even if this world had changed her name, her clothes, her hair, nothing could change the soul inside. The one I was bound to for life. "Delilah, please..." My voice was low and raw. "I need you. I've missed us. Don't tell me you don't feel this, too. You can't lie to me, not about this." My

Delilah I’ve been walking through this magical forest for what feels like hours. Everything here glows softly, like the stars had fallen into the trees. Strange, glowing plants swayed as if they could see me. The wind whispered with hidden voices. I could feel it, this place was alive. I wasn't alone. Voices echoed around me, soft and curious. “Is she the new queen?” one whispered. “She looks like one,” another replied. They didn’t know I could hear them. Or maybe they did and didn’t care. The creatures here were different, gentle, watching, waiting. The forest didn’t feel like the dangerous ones I grew up around. This place was calm, peaceful, almost like it was built from dreams. The wind brushed against my skin like silk. I could breathe here. As I walked deeper, I found a narrow path that sparkled like diamonds. Delilah “Excuse me, have you seen Sandra around?” I asked one of the girls I often saw nearby. “No, Luna. I’m looking for her too,” she replied. I left them and headed toward the group gathered under the big tree, preparing the girls for tonight’s event. “Luna,” they greeted me with respectful bows. “Thank you. Has anyone here seen Sandra?” They all shook their heads. Where could she be? Of all days, she knows I can’t handle this alone. I need her to prepare me for tonight. She’s the only one who knows what to do. This is uncharted territory for me. I married my husband just a few weeks ago, but we haven’t mated yet. I’ve been postponing it ever since the wedding. I’m human, and he’s the Alpha of the Blue Moon Pack. I’ve heard stories about how intense Alphas can be during mating. I’m scared because I’ve never done anything like this before. Sandra warned me that Farrell would likely mate with me repeatedly for an entire week after marking me. She also told me that a were

  • DESTINED TO BE QUEEN: LYCAN KING UNEXPECTED MATE    002 THE SUDDEN BETRAYAL

Delilah My heart pounded in my chest. I wasn’t running a marathon, yet I was breathless. Beads of sweat formed on my forehead. What kind of joke was this? How could someone become another person’s mate in just a few hours? Three hours ago, we were all together, and she wasn’t his mate then. How could things change so suddenly? The heat rising inside me grew unbearable, making my heart race uncontrollably. It felt as though the pills I had taken were kicking in sooner than expected. I stepped closer to my husband and stood in front of him, my heart thundering as my trembling hands cupped his handsome face. His gray eyes locked on mine as I opened my mouth. “Farrell! Tell me this is a joke. You can’t be married to me and talk about another mate. This has to be a lie, right?” His expression darkened into a frown as he removed my hands from his face. “This is no joke, Delilah. She is my mate. I feel the mate bond, and I can smell her intoxicating scent.” He shoved me aside, and I

Farrell She’s calling me. I couldn’t believe it. My hands shook a little as I slid my finger across the screen to answer. But just before I could say a word… She hung up. What?! “Damn it!” I muttered, my heart racing. I stared at the phone for a second, then quickly tapped her name and called her back. It rang. Once. Twice. No answer. Why wasn’t she picking up? She just called me a few seconds ago. What was happening? I redialed. Again. Still… nothing. Frustrated, I ran my hand over my head, trying to calm down. But I couldn’t. My thoughts were spinning fast. Why was I being kept away from her? Why was I separated from my mate? What did I do to deserve this? I looked out the car window. The city outside was peaceful. The streets were wide and clean. The sky was clear, and people walked around smiling. This world looked perfect. It was beautiful. Calm. But also… strange. Everything here felt too perfect, like a dream I couldn’t wake up from. I was trying to stay c

  • DESTINED TO BE QUEEN: LYCAN KING UNEXPECTED MATE    093. ADJUSTING TO THE STRANGE WORLD

Farrell In the Blue Moon Pack, I was a leader. The Alpha. Strong. Respected. I wasn’t poor, but I had just enough. Of course, King Maxwell had far more, more power, more gold, more land. No one could compare to him. But here, in this strange world, I don’t know who I really am. One thing is clear…I am no longer a werewolf. I am a human man now. And somehow… I am very, very rich. The doctor came in earlier with a smile and said, “Good news. All your tests look fine. You can go home.” My "mother"...Gladys…left a few hours ago to prepare the house for my return. I heard I have a fiancée too. She’s gone abroad for some reason. Not that I care. I don’t feel anything for her. But still… I’m curious. What does she look like? Is she even half as beautiful as my Delilah? No. No one could ever come close to her. Delilah… She is all my heart wants. I miss her touch, her voice, her scent. Even if I don’t have my wolf anymore, I need her. She is my true mate. My light in every world.
