Did she discover my lie? I really didn't want anyone to know that Alex was the one who saved me. And I didn't think that he wanted that either.

He must want to keep what was going on strictly between the both of us only.

"I..yes. that's why I said I got lucky. I won't have been able to escape if he didn't let his guard down. Anyway, I know now that it is dangerous everywhere and I can't be out in the woods on my own again," I said.

Gemma nodded her head.

"Yes. You are right about that. It's very dangerous out there now. You have to be really careful," she said fo me.

I looked at Gemma's face. There was nothing but pure concern on her face for me.

I continued to stare at her. For some reason, I thought about what Alex had told me. That it was not a coincidence that Tommy found me and kidnapped me.
