“What's wrong?" I asked, reaching for her shoulder but before I could reach her, she moved out of the way, avoiding my touch like a plague.

I balled my fist, withdrawing my hand slowly. “Oh." I whispered to myself.

I didn't know why it hurt so much when she did that.

“I need to leave,” she said, hurriedly grabbing her bag and leaving immediately without sparing me a glance.

I pressed my lips into a thin line. What have I done wrong? Brielle was never like this!

I let out a sigh, trying to ignore Tonia who was grinding inside me.
