Xander pauses a few meters away from her bed, and she covers herself with the covers, looking terrified, as if she had just encountered the most terrifying beast anyone could ever come across. That statement keeps screaming so loudly and continuously in Xander's ears.

He does not understand, but for some reason, that sentence seems to hit him so hard and so painfully in the chest that he flinches a little. Nevertheless, he gathers himself and stops abruptly, staring at her as she shivers beneath the covers. With a sigh, he closes his eyes.

"I promise you do not have to think that way about me. Just let us discuss this."

"I wish to avoid any interaction with you. What more are you hoping to get out of my life? What is your reason for sneaking into my room? And how the hell did you come in after I locked the window? I would prefer not to see you. You are not human!!" She will not stop screaming until Xander loses all motivation to disagree
