Emberlyn Wolfsong"Whoa, this is the good stuff. I have yearned to taste this blood for many generations. Now that I have it in my possession, I will not let go of it." As the beast continues to drive its teeth and canines deeper and deeper into Emberlyn's flesh, eventually reaching her veins and bone marrow, her ears are filled with the sound of its terrible thoughts. Emberlyn looks up at the sky and the clouds, watching everything around her becoming hazy. It seems as though she is losing her hold on reality when the sounds and the breeze flowing against the trees suddenly grow so monotonous. She blinks quickly, noticing her breathing become labored. She can hear her heartbeat thudding steadily in her ears as the owls' gradual, waning chirping fades in the surrounding woodland. She says to herself, "I assume this is my time. I suppose here is where I introduce myself, Mother. If you are dead at all, that is." She stares into the starry night, watching the dazzling stars in the sky
Emberlyn Wolfsong "Well, Emberlyn, do not believe you have survived it all." This specific beast snarls and advances on her, his menacing smirk spreading across his face. "As you should be aware, the blood wolf is accompanied by a certain kind of spirit that has been possessing these creatures for many generations. Because of this, nothing can ever cause us to go extinct because we are immortal. That was just one portion of my physique. Do not believe that you have accomplished the ultimate goal of putting an end to my life." Emberlyn is forced to retreat as the beast gets closer to her, seemingly in an attempt to evade its presence. The beast laughs and takes another stride towards her. She can hear his voice in her ears. "It is clear to me from what I have seen so far that you have an active core. It has simply been dormant inside of you for the entire time due to your carelessness and refusal to recognize who you are. Right now, the only things that can bring it out are extreme f
Emberlyn Wolfsong At last, she shivers and shudders in her posture, the intense cold piercing her bones as if from winter, as she grinds her teeth and presses her hands firmly against the parched grass. Calmly, she opens her eyes to take in her surroundings. All around her, the birds are whistling, and there is a slight silence. She lets out a sigh and inhales deeply as she realizes how much she is trembling in this place. She then winces as a very tiny discomfort against her chest makes her roll across the grass while resting on her back in total amazement. She sits up right away where she is when she notices that everything is gradually getting brighter. Her eyes widen as she looks over her shoulder and notices the sun slowly rising above the horizon. "It is almost daybreak, my goodness." She ruminates to herself as she tries to stand up when she staggers and shifts her waist so that she can feel and hear some cracks in her bones. "Whoa, that felt like a tiny bit of comfort
Episode 19: Uncertainty Emberlyn Wolfsong Diana appears to be the only one who is truly thrilled to have Emberlyn there, as she stands in front of each of them and watches their reactions. Diana approaches Emberlyn and starts examining her, attempting not to touch her as much as she can because her whole body is covered in blood. Not her blood though. The majority of it is a component of the blood of the blood wolf, but she is unable to understand or recognize this. Diana notices that Emberlyn's garments have already become rags and is attempting to keep them clean. Emberlyn inhales deeply before turning to face Diana. She replies coolly, "Yeah," as if she had run out of things to say. Diana chuckles to herself. "You made it through! How on earth were you able to escape?" Diana enquires, and Emberlyn gives her a look before opening her mouth to respond, but nothing quite comes out. She gives a tense laugh, then glances around as if attempting to gauge the situation.
Emberlyn Wolfsong "Please wait, Emberlyn." Emberlyn is finally forced to stop in her tracks when Diana calls. "Please allow me to help you and hide you from the other hostel guests so that they will not discover your current condition. It may be somewhat awkward." Emberlyn closes her eyes, inhales deeply, and grinds her teeth. She can feel the rage seeping into her bones. "It is absurd that she even gives a damn. Is she not the one who initially brought me into this mess? Is she not the one who initiated the coup that put me in the situation I am in right now?" After giving it some thought, Emberlyn lets out a deep sigh and turns her head to face Diana. "Diana, thank you so much for your assistance, but it is not appreciated at this moment. You have just shown me who you are, and I doubt I would want to interact with anybody like that." Emberlyn remarks, watching as Diana's face assumes a depressing expression. Emberlyn lets out a sigh and shifts her attention to Alana, who is sta
Emberlyn Wolfsong Emberlyn gives her a hesitant glance before focusing on the floor. "I truly apologize." Akira snickers. "Oh yes, I am appreciative of your deep affection and I know that it is not your fault, which is why I am saying and I am allowing you to explain yourself and tell me what happened, come with me, I need to run you a very nice warm bath," Akira says, pointing her in the direction of a specific room within the dormitory building's large lobby. She leads Emberlyn to a specific door, opens it, and ushers Emberlyn inside. Emberlyn enters and finds herself alone in a vast, exquisitely furnished chamber that resembles the one in which kings and queens are seated—a castle or palace, perhaps. She looks about her in amazement, everything in front of her glistening and shining. "The staff at this school is well-cared for and receives the greatest treatment possible. That is confusing me," she muses to herself as Akira eventually stops in front of a different door a s
Emberlyn Wolfsong Emberlyn stops dead in her tracks when the door to Alana's quarters gently opens just as she is about to walk out of the entrance. "And concerning the bathrobe, you may keep it to yourself; it is yours for the time being; just accept it as a gift from me and reparation for whatever happened to you," Akira continues, forcing Emberlyn to gently turn around and face her. "You do not have to..." "Yes, please, keep it," Akira says, closing the door behind her. Emberlyn closes her eyes and draws in a deep breath as she looks at the closed door. "Thank you so much," she says to the door, sighing and turning around quickly. Subsequently, she makes her way towards the dormitory's spacious lobby and the direction of the rooms. She goes up the stairway towards the location of her room and opens the door that opens into the spacious hallway. As she enters and closes the door, she discovers a sea of pupils chanting to one another in an attempt to be ready for the school da
Emberlyn Wolfsong The knock on her window, which causes her to pause momentarily while still sitting on the bed with a furrowed brow, confuses her a little. She inhales deeply and keeps her eyebrow up while staring out the window. "Something does not feel right here." She reflects to herself. She is on the first floor of the dorm building, so who the hell could be knocking on her window at this point? Other than placing something akin to a ladder over there, which seems kind of ridiculous, there is absolutely no way someone could have climbed up the wall to get to her window. What would genuinely motivate someone to do that? She raises an eyebrow, her hands shaking, and keeps looking out the window, pondering if it would be better to go over there and open the window or just ignore it and hide beneath her covers. She shakes her head, looks out the window, and slowly rises from her bed after giving it some thought. Because of the curtains blocking the window, she is unable to se
