THE NEXT MORNING

I started arranging my clothes inside the small wardrobe, Nancy walked up to me and stretched her phone to me.

"What?"I asked confusedly and she chuckled.

"Give me your number,I should be able to call you anytime I want to"

"Alright"I smiled and punched my number into the phone, I gave her the phone back.

"I will add you on W******p too"

"No problem"I replied and watch her leave, I noticed a dragon tattoo on her back, It look beautiful and scary too

"You have a nice tatoo"I complimented behind her, She turned to me awkwardly and walk away without saying anything

I woke up as early as possible to get prepared for school. It's my first day, I need to create a good impression.

Nancy left for school minutes ago to round up her assignment.

After sliding into my normal baggy pants and hoodie, I decided to go for the white slides since I only have a few of them. I take my drugs before leaving the room.

Getting to the school compound, I'm surprised that the students were allowed to dress the way they wanted to. Most of them were in expensive dresses, Artificial hairs, Nails, Make up. The girls looked so sassy and endearing.

I tightened my hand around the bag as I looked into the school map, I located my class without any difficulties and ran there as fast as possible.

The lecturer just arrived. She's a woman in her early fifties. Her short auburn hair graced her slender shoulders.She's dressed corporately in a black skirt with yellow shirt. She's truly a beauty.

"A new student?"She asked softly and I nodded.

"On scholarship?"

"Yes"I replied quietly, The students whispered some inaudible words, I ignored them totally.

They are less of my concern now.

"Alright,put your name down in the register with your registration details,You can join the class after that"She instructed, pointing to a long book on the table.

I grabbed it and put down all the details I needed to fill in it.

After the class, I decided to get some fresh air before the next class. Suddenly, A polythene bag was thrown at me. I turned back in shock and realized that it was thrown intentionally judging from the look on their face.

What?!

"Why will you throw a polythene bag containing trash at me?"I asked the girl. She's petite, Short and skinny but a little bit beautiful.

Her big eyes rolled ridiculously in their pockets, She looks like a joker.

"I want you to help me throw it away on your way out,Is that too much to ask for?,Fatty a*ss?"She said mockingly, I took a deep breath and packed the trash inside the polythene back.

I took it out of the room without listening to the jeers.

Getting to the restroom, I burst into tears immediately.

Why do I have to be ridiculed?I did nothing wrong. Why did everyone hate me?

My chest tightened as I sob profusely.This is part of the reason why I don't want to come to school on scholarship. They will treat me like trash.

I took a deep breath to regulate my breathing but my heart palpitated rapidly, My anxiety disorder is at it again,I ha*te being bullied,I hate being trampled upon,I ha*te it when I can't fight for myself, I hate it when I can't keep to my Dad's promise to build my confidence, I hate my life so much,Things aren't working the way I planned.

I staggered out of the room trying as much as possible not to collapse.My heart tightened harder,I couldn't breathe,I couldn't feel my heart, I couldn't hold it anymore, My breath seized and darkness enveloped me completely.

ENEA POV

I walked out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around my waist. Surprisingly, Tyler's in the room. Playing video games, I scoffed.

"You don't have your own room?''I asked, staring at his tattooed body and he chuckled.

"I couldn't find my pad,So I had to come here to use yours,Stop checking me out En, I'm not a gay"He hissed, I snorted before walking towards the inner room containing my clothes and some private stuffs.

"Make sure you don't lose your keys in school, You can hand it over to me if you want to"

"Of course,I'm giving it to you,I can't guarantee you that I won't lose it"I yelled from the closet.

Tyler has always been like a brother to me, We shared everything together,, The worse and happy moments of my life, He's been there for me, Everyone knows me as the Cold hearted and ruthless mafia boss but to him, I'm still like a baby and that's why he treats me like one, Sometimes, He refused to let me do the dangerous task because he's not ready to lose me the same way he lost his families to my Dad.

I wouldn't have been able to develop the Mafia to this stage without him.

I decided to go for baggy blue jeans and a loose thick top with it.

This will be able to conceal my identity for today.

I walked out of the room with two of my phones leaving the other three behind,Tyler will attend to the business calls as from now on.

I came here for a mission,Not to study. This is just for a cover up.

Tyler looked up at me immediately as I'm out of the room and laughed.

"What?!"I asked, staring down at my body.

"I thought you're going for a fashion show in this outfit,You look expensive"

"I had a hard time choosing this outfit because of your god-damned rules, This is not good enough?"I asked tiredly.

"You wearing a limited edition of Louis Vuitton, They will surely notice you"

"Whatever,I'm going"I huffed.

"Make sure you eat well, You know Andy isn't around?"He yelled after me. Andy is our doctor, I had health issues months after losing my mom which I'm still battling with.

"Sure,I will"I mumbled before rushing down the stairs

Gemma's there watching movies.

"Fratello!"She screamed in Italian and rushed to me.

I smiled before engulfing her in my arms.

"How are you?"I asked softly and kissed her hair. She giggled.

"I'm fine,I've missed you"She pouted like a baby, The baby she is.

Gemma's one of my girls, She hasn't started working for me yet since she's just twenty two, I don't want her to be involved in my world but she knows what I'm doing, I took her in six years ago and she's been with me since then, She will be done with college this year too, I treat her like my baby sister, The one I never had the opportunity to show love to.

"I missed you too,I need to go to school now or else I will be late"I said, dropping her down to her feet and she stared at me weirdly.

"I thought Tyler is joking when he told me you're going for your masters?,He was high as fu*ck yesterday so I didn't believe him"

"Sadly,that's the truth,"I replied with a shrug.

"You came down here to the US for something right?"She asked and I nodded simply.

"Be careful,I will call you later in the day"She hugged me tightly for the last time and waved at me as I walked out of the house.

I stepped down the car and took slow strides to the administrative block, I was about to enter when Tyler's call came in.

Why's this as*shole calling me knowing that I will be in school already?

I sighed before walking away from the building to a nearby restroom to pick the calls.

I picked the call immediately I entered.

"What's it?"I asked angrily and he sighed.

"I want to inform you that I'm going out with Gemma, The she de*vil insisted that I take her out for ice cream"

"Make sure you're careful,Don't call me anymore"I mumbled and cut the call immediately, I slided the phone into my pocket back and was about to walk out of the room when I found a figure lying helplessly on the floor.

Huh?!

Did she slump?

I walked closer to her. Her black long hair covered her face. I dropped to a crouch beside her and touched her hand. She's still breathing.

Guess she slumped, My eyes scanned her body, she was in good shape, Not fat nor skinny, Just that she had excess flesh on her lower hips, butts and boobs.

I don't want to get involved in things like this on my first day at school but I can't ignore the fact that she needs help, I need to help her.

The latter won. Without a second thought, I carried her on my shoulders and walked out of the restroom.
