VIXEN/ ROSE POV

Burning curiosity, the type of curiosity that doesn't give one the opportunity to breathe.

Earlier today, uncle has arrived at the office with his son, Kane. The one who is known to be the prodigal son.

It appears they wanted to have a have a heart to heart conversation with Roman, that's why uncle Williams insisted I get coffee down the street, instead of the office cafe.

Of course I did as ordered, no questions asked but unfortunately I just had to return a moment too soon.

I heard Roman's angry voice echoing through the hallway. He appeared to be mad, which was pretty much expected consider the romuors I have heard about Kane being the reason why Roman and his ex wife separated.

In all honesty, he reacted a lot calmly than I had anticipated.

I kind of predicted that they would have a braul in which Kane would kick his ass for me.

Well that's out of the question.

And I was so looking forward to pretending to be sympathetic about his bruises.
