"Are you going to help me move this stuff in the apartment or are you going to stare at all the guys who walk past?" I asked, glaring at Kimani. I have taken in six boxes compared to her two. "Yeah, yeah I'm coming geez, you so in a rush it's still early and we just got here can we take a breather?" Kimani reply grabbing a box and taking it inside the apartment. We left late last night so we could get to Florida early in the morning so we were running on fumes by now which meant we had little to no sleep. But I wanted to at least get most of the stuff in the apartment before we take a break. Because once Kimani stops it will be impossible to get her to finish moving everything in. "Let's just finish getting the bed and the couch in the apartment then we can go to the campus to look around and grab some food but that's after a shower and a nap." I said feeling tired myself. "Okay let's do that because I'm ready to see what college will be like." Kimani said excitedly which I will admit I was a little excited myself. Syncere's POV: two p.m. "Yo, did I mention that I hate summer basketball camp. First it's hotter than monkey nuts out here and second I'm tired of getting up at five a.m." I said to my teammate as we headed to the pit to grab a bite to eat. We have been doing basketball drills since six a.m. "Shit, you say that everyday and I feel the same way messing up my summer fun. I would be happy as hell to be curled up with some honey at five a.m. instead of looking at yall ugly faces every day." Shawn said laughing. Me and Shawn met our freshman year at basketball tryouts. We hit it off immediately, we were the starters because we were the highest ranked players on our team. Walking into the pitt we see that it's crowded as hell you would think they were giving away free food. "Damn it's crazy in here today. You go look for a table and I'll order our food." I said to Shawn. "Alright bet, but it looks like we may have to share a table with someone." Shawn says weaving through the crowd.Essence's POV:
a few minutes earlier:
"Damn we were lucky that somebody was leaving when we were looking for a table. Shit, I thought we were about to be eating on the floor in the corner." Kimani said sitting down at the only free table in the campus hang out called the Pitt. We have been walking around trying to learn the campus layout. We made sure to find out who and where our advisors and the buildings were, before our classes start come August. I was a business major and Kimani was a Sports Medicine major.
"Who was going to be eating on the floor, certainly not me I would have nicely got my food to go. You must be crazy if you think I was going to eat on anybody floor. " I said giving her the side eye with a smile. "It's real crowded in here to say it summertime I would think people wouldn't be on campus like this, if they weren't going to school or taking any summer classes. If it looks like this now I can only imagine how it will look come August." Kimani said looking at the many faces in here.
"Damn where is the ketchup who the hell eat French fries without ketchup. I feel like that should be put on your tray automatically when you order fries. Now I have to go back through that crowd, and I'm telling you now, that I'm not standing in no line just for ketchup." I said getting up and heading through the crowd."Excuse me, excuse me." I said loudly trying to get the cashiers attention, because the first three times wasn't loud enough apparently. Sighing loudly. "Yes can I help you; the line starts back there the cashier said with the attitude pointing at the back of the line like it's my fault she had to work today.
"I'm not ordering I need ketchup there was none on my tray." I shot back with an attitude. She grabbed a hand full and drop them in my hand. I wanted to cuss her ass out, but I was trying to be an adult now. I was no longer in high school so I had to learn how to not drag a bitch across the counter. I took a deep breath, turned around, and walked straight into a brick wall.
Chapter 389 “OH MY GOD GET THIS BABY OUTTA ME, I SWEAR I'M NOT PUSHING NO MORE AFTER THIS. I'LL JUST BE A KANGAROO AND LET HER LIVE HALF WAY IN MY COOCH!” Essence said and then screamed. In the next moment they all heard a loud anger cry and cheered so loud other families came out of their rooms to see what was happening. The door burst open and Dr. Angelic pushed Essence and the new baby out of the room allowing only a moment for them to see the baby, before heading to the surgery room that was ready and waiting. “We have to go in and fix her ribs now that the baby is out.” Doctor Angelic said as she moved pass them.Once they got to the surgery doors, the nurse took the baby and handed it to Syncere who look horrified. “Oh God give me my baby before you pass out, you act like you have never held a newborn before.” Kymoni said taking the baby from Syncere. “I haven't, all the babies I have ever held were nearly walking. I have never seen a baby so tiny before.” Syncere said
Chapter 388 “Hey everyone, I know this isn't the best time to talk about what I found out, but I have no choice, we need to talk. Can everyone meet me in the waiting room.” Karla said, walking over to her niece pulling her without waiting for a response. The men looked at her and then at each other in confusion, but followed behind the Attorney General. “Sister this better be good, you know my grandbaby is about to be born and I don't want to miss the sound of her first breath as she cries.” Thomas said as he went and sat in one of the chairs in the waiting room. “Yea I wish this could wait but it can't, because it seems as though your daughter and her new friends are responsible for killing Wofung. He and his empire has been on the FBI's radar for more than a year. Would any of you care to explain why your ruined a year long investigation, and why the hell did you have to blow the place up? You think I didn't find out what branch of the government you're work
Chapter 38713 hours later: The Florida Airport: “FUCK I CAN'T BELIEVE IT TOOK US THIRTEEN FUCKING HOURS TO GET HERE! AND NOW, THERE IS NO MORE RENTALS AVAILABLE!” Syncere said, racing towards the exit. Shawn ran behind him, they didn't even pack a bag before they left. They left the arena and went straight to the airport. The only tickets available, were flights that had layovers and would take them hours, but they had no choice. Now with the flight behind them they had to deal with no rental cars available. He had talked to Essence, the entire way and knew that she was eight centimeters. The only luck he had was her contractions stalled for almost five hours, before picking back up again. “You need to calm down, you are going to give yourself a heart attack and that will make Kymoni kill me for not getting you to the hospital, alive.” Shawn said, racing behind Syncere. “WHERE ARE ALL THE CABS, AN UBER IS TWENTY MINUTES OUT! THIS IS FUCKING REDICULOUS!”
Chapter 386Somewhere in Tokyo: Continued YOU MAY COME IN NOW!” Wofung said giddy with excitement. The door to the basement opened and four tall big muscular men walked into the basement. They were dress in all black suits that hugged their arms exposing their muscles. Melli’s mouth fell open in shock. “No, it can't be.” She whispered. “Surprise, I bet you never thought I would catch up to you huh? You were a very slippery one to catch, but you got sloppy and I found you at last. Once I told my colleague what you did to my operations, I told him that he shouldn't wait to capture you.” “You did this, you told that bastard, about me? You're the reason I been strapped to this fucking chair for days. I swear when I get out of this, I'm going to kill you all.” Melli sneered. “I don't think you're in a position to threaten me, you’re currently strapped to a chair waiting for me to…” One of the men's phone began to rang he silenced it. “Are you serious you're ruining my
Chapter 38530 weeks later: “Nope I can't do it, I was cool with the C-Section; that was the plan and I would like to go ahead with that plan instead of this foolishness.” Essence said as the nurses hooked her up to monitors. The baby's heartbeat came from the machine strong and steady. “I'm sorry looks like your baby girl had other plans, you were scheduled to come in for your C-section three days from now. You're over six centimeters and her head is in position. I'm sorry but you're going to have to push her out the old fashion way. Now, I need to do an ultrasound to make sure that your ribs aren't a danger to you or her.” Doctor Angelic said as a nurse brought in an ultrasound machine. “Listen doctor Angelic, my fiancé is in LA and isn't due back until a day before my C-Section, we had it all planned out. I called him last night but he may not be able to get here in time, so you have to find a way to stop this baby from coming out. I can't do this wi
Chapter 384Back at the hospital: 2 hours later In Essence's hospital room: “How long is the surgery supposed to take? Is something wrong?” Perlina said as she began to pace the floors. “Calm down, I know you're worried about E, but she's a fighter, things are moving slow because they weren't fully prepared like they normally would be they had no time to prep the room or anything.” Bubba said as he put his arm around his sister. Karla walked into the room with Melli right behind her. “I came here to let you know that we are leaving. Everything here is settled, there is no longer a threat to any of you. I will make sure the president of your school knows what happened here so none of you should have any problems going back to school once you're ready. The prisoners are being transported back to Washington, but your wife and your mother wanted to speak to you. She's right outside, I can bring her in or you can step outside, you have ten minutes.” Karla said, l
