Meeting Ezekiel

Isla's POV:

Alpha Caden looked at me to confirm if I heard what the elder said and I acted clueless because his jaw was clenched and he wouldn't have liked me knowing about that personal stuff. About his curse to be precise... He glared at the elder angrily and whispered something to him which made the smile fade away from the elder's face.

'I have no idea, Ri. He doesn't look happy about us knowing this. And I am so scared about my fur color. We are Blue! ' I walked anxiously behind the two males to the centre of the shifting ground.

'Let it be. We can't do anything about our never ending problems. 'Riley was so confident about herself and I loved her for that.

I closed my eyes and it hurt again. It was the second time I was shifting and the bones still sore from the first time poked me in the muscles. Alpha Caden had shifted already and was waiting for me. Within a minute or so, I landed on my four limbs and my fur shone brightly under the bright morning sun rays.

"It's such a beautiful fur! Most unique ones. Our Luna is one of her kind! " The elder announced and the other pack members hailed praises for me.

"The blue fur is the rarest among all colours. She's a pure breed. " The elder said.

A pure breed? I had no idea what they meant by it but I was happy that they didn't make fun of me.

'Let's go for a walk around the pack as a rule. ' I heard a different male voice in my head.

'Yes, I would love that. I am Riley and you? ' Riley asked.

'I am Ezekiel. You're are really beautiful. " Ezekiel said.

Alpha Caden's wolf was so nice and humble. And I liked him already because he liked us too. He had a warmth around him which made me so comfortable and even Riley accepted him just after the introduction.

Ezekiel pranced forward in the air and I followed him behind. We ran through the halls of the pack house followed by other wolves behind us. The pack members stopped whatever they were doing and bowed at us. We left the houses and buildings into the corners of the borders.

'These are our pack borders. This one is where we have our annual training centre. 'Ezekiel told me. He explained everything in such intricate details and with patience, I found myself relaxing around him. He considered me worthy enough to be running with him.

"What's that? " I asked him standing in front of the old stone built structure.

"It's the dungeon. All the offenders here have life sentence. Let's go. I don't want you to be scared of them. " Ezekiel nudged my neck with his nose and I moved as per his directions.

The five pack members all stopped at a common place in the ceremony hall again while Ezekiel took me with him to the Packhouse. He would glance behind to check if I was there at every turn he took. His welcome had already warmed our hearts.

He shifted back to his human form and surprisingly he had his clothes on. That meant Alpha Caden was the most powerful wolf who could control everything around him.

"Shift." Alpha Caden was back and so was his rudeness. My heart shattered at his rude tone and I gave up on my happiness again.

I hesitated but he didn't leave me any choice other than shifting right there. I closed my eyes and focused on that one white light in my head. I covered myself with my hands instantly as soon as my fur and claws vanished.

"Don't hide yourself from me." Alpha Caden had his eyes fixed on my face.

I slowly let go and stood naked under his hot gaze. I heard him sighing but his face remained that of someone with no feelings.

Did he not have emotions? Couldn't he feel certain things?

I was stuck with these questions in my head when he moved closer to me. His hands worked up his buttons and he threw his shirt on the floor beside the table.

"Raise your hands. " He ordered.

I did as commanded. He circled around me checking every curve of my body. His hand grasped my thighs and I jumped at the sudden contact with him.
