Chapter 6 : Foreplay before the Feast

So much had happened in the short time I'd been here. I stared up at the ceiling of my room, leaning over and grabbing some water, and taking a few sips.

Touching base with myself, I thought about the sections of the mansion I wasn't allowed to access. Could that have something to do with the cult Alexander mentioned? The way he'd pointed everything out had been terrifying.

I swallowed, recalling how he'd pinned me there and explained how dangerous his kind was.

That was something I knew for sure. When vampires and other mythical monsters came out of the shadows as far more than just stories, I grabbed books to read about them.

I was wholly unprepared because what was out was just misconceptions on humanity's part for every single one of them. However, the stuff we did get right was a bit frightening.

Vampires naturally became celebrities pretty quickly. It only made sense, given culture was shifting to becoming more accepting. There was pushback, sure, and some humans who were planning from the shadows who no doubt didn't take kindly to their existence, particularly religious folks even though vampires had no link to the Bible or such like they assumed.

Several new humanoid species had come as a shock, but we managed to cooperate. Something told me there was more to that. If vampires hadn't been treated as well as they were, there could have been all-out war. Judging by how Alexander's species worked, I doubted we would be on the winning side.

With that in mind, I shuddered, my mind inevitably returning to Lucy. Alexander affirmed my belief that something happened to her. I didn't suspect him, but others here, maybe the 'cult'? Most definitely. I could only hope she wasn't butchered in some sort of ritual sacrifice.

I was glad I learned something for my troubles as opposed to just that vampires had a ton of sex. Granted, I was incredibly turned on around Alexander, another tiny tidbit of knowledge that had my cheeks flushing.

My mind lapsed to the scent of him, it'd overwhelmed all of my senses. The strength he had pressing me against the bed. Finally, his chiseled muscles. What could he do to me with all of his strength?

I drew my tongue over my lips at the many dark scenarios that flowed through my brain. Then, I shook my head. Once again, I was causing my focus to break for no valid reason.

I needed to get to the library to clear my mind. My objective was to research this cult Alexander had mentioned. Maybe there would be names given for this area or something. A vampire library likely had extra content, after all. Humanity may have failed to properly document the existence of their kind, but I wasn't in a place run by them.

Rolling out of bed, I inhaled slowly, closed my eyes, and rubbed my temples. It was time to get started. I walked to the bathroom and ran the brush through my hair, studying the circles under my eyes once again. I really needed to work on getting better sleep here, but that apparently only happened after sex in my case. Less thinking.

I opened my door and looked left, then right. No one was around, and it was midday, so I should be good. I'd skipped breakfast after anxiety from last night had deemed me unworthy of eating, so my stomach rumbled a bit. There was no need to sneak around, however, so I didn't bother worrying about that. I passed by a window with heavy black curtains drawn over it, blocking out the sun.

I reached over and moved one of them, staring toward the outside. I made a mental note to go explore the courtyard at some point to get some fresh air. Perhaps that would ease my mind a little bit. No time for that now, however.

I closed the curtains and turned away, heading down the hall toward where I recalled the library was. The hair stood up at the back of my neck, however, as I felt as though I was being watched.

Without warning, a hand fell on my shoulder, causing me to jump out of my skin, practically. I looked up to see Misty wearing a kind grin. Swallowing, I recalled what Alexander had warned me about.

Her smile was kind, and disarming, as she said, "Hey there, lady. Me and another gentleman were a bit hungry for some fun. Would you like to please us?" I cursed inwardly, knowing it was frowned upon to reject advances.

That crimson stare she had locked on me was predatory, and she glanced down at my neck, realizing I hadn't been bitten yet. A low, starved growl emitted from the pit of her chest as she looked back up at me, tilting her head expectantly.

Needing to build rapport with people, even those Alexander warned me about, I slowly nodded. My heart began to pound, something she no doubt noticed.

"Making me hungry already, gorgeous," Misty whispered, leaning to my ear and wrapping her arms around me. "But don't worry. I'll be gentle or rough, it all depends on what you want. Just say the word 'enough' if either I or the gentleman we'll be engaging is too much. Alright?"

I nodded, growing even more nervous at the one she mentioned. Was that Remus? She was about to be double-teamed by potential cultists?

There was no time to ask or protest at all because I was swept into her arms and brought into a room. My panic was going into overdrive given I really didn't want to be taken by two cultists.

Thankfully, I was put at ease a little bit when I saw the vampire laying there naked on the bed. It was the guy from the first night, and his eyes fell upon me with a smile. A smile that widened upon seeing my neck clear of bite marks for today.

Misty noticed where he was looking and laughed at him. "Nope, she's mine today, you starved fox," she said, causing him to pout. "I told our little human here to say the word 'enough' if she needs us to stop. Sound good?"

He nodded, running his tongue slowly over his lips.

This really would throw a wrench into my plans, but it wasn't something I could resist. Getting a bad reputation here was the last thing I wanted to do. I blushed and looked away from him, having noticed his erection a few seconds later.

Misty walked up to the bed, gently placing me next to the male vampire. She stripped, motioning for me to do the same. I obeyed, watching her breasts bounce as she approached.

Moments later, I was sandwiched between the two vampires, gasping as they both explored my body with their claws. Misty ran her claws through my hair, leaning down to take one of my nipples into her mouth.

I gasped as intense pleasure rushed through me, causing prickles of ecstasy to wash over me already. She was amazing with her lips, and her slightly extended fangs brushing against my sensitive flesh there only enhanced the pleasure.

I squirmed between them, letting out soft gasps. The male vampire said in a low tone, "Isn't she simply lovely? Such a good pet…" Now he ran his own claws through my hair, threading them into it and pulling my head back.

Misty hummed in approval, letting go of my breast and bringing her attention to my neck. She began to lick slowly along the vein, allowing her fangs to brush along my skin and send shivers through my entire body.

She let out a purr-like noise, leaning away and slowly shaking her head. "Hm, not yet, pet. I will feed soon. I want to taste other things first."

I widened my eyes as she repositioned, moving down my body with her lips until arriving at my waist. She nipped my skin there, causing me to jump, but then moved her face between my thighs. I had no time to react before I felt her tongue caressing the most sensitive flesh.

My wetness intensified as she continued, stabbing her tongue into me with no mercy. My body shuddered with its first orgasm as she lapped at my folds, arriving at my clit and providing it special attention by lovingly swirling it.

When she was finished, she returned to laying there next to me, grabbing my chin and turning my head toward her. "Delicious, pet. I want to try more of you soon. But I should let him have some fun, too," Misty said breathlessly, reaching down to rub her own clit.

I was spellbound as she let out a whimper, causing herself a minor orgasm. Her curls fell into her face as she did so, her muscles rippling quite a bit. Her own juices lubricated her as well. I could tell she really enjoyed pleasuring me as much as I loved receiving.

The male vampire let out an excited growl, repositioning so that he was now pinning me to the bed. He grinned down at my face, leaning down to nip at my ear.

He whispered, "I may unfortunately not be able to bite you today, but hopefully Misty will share a few drops, because fuck, you're delicious." His scent washed over me, reminding me of the first night and causing my cheeks to darken even further. "Such a good girl…" he praised, pressing down on me and grinding his hips against mine.

I felt his erection and knew he'd be penetrating me soon. "What do you think about chains, hm? I want to try that with you sometime. I have a feeling you'd take to them well, pet."

I gulped and slowly nodded, my eyes partially closing at the idea. The image of me in chains beneath him as he viciously took me flashed into my mind. That, and the idea of his claws ripping into my skin so he could lap up some of the blood that came from it.

I swallowed at the thought, licking my lips in wanting. Right now, I was completely distracted from my objective, but I couldn't help it. This pleasure was intense.

The male vampire studied me with a wide, delighted grin, his fangs out and his tongue slowly drawing over his lips.

He chuckled. "Good…"

Suddenly, he repositioned, sitting on his ass and pulling me onto so I was sitting facing away from him. His erection rubbed against me, causing me to squirm and let out a low moan.

Misty approached, placing her hands on my shoulders and grinning. "You'll be his toy while you're my meal," she said, letting out a soft sigh. "Fuck I'm starving, let the feast begin."

I felt my hips being lifted and cried out as I was made to sink down on the male vampire's cock.

I cried out as the male vampire penetrated me, utilizing his strength to very easily move me up and down, slowly at first. Clenching my jaw from the pleasure, I inhaled slowly and moved my hips in time with him, feeling him dive into me and shuddering with ecstasy. My veins were alight with pleasure, and I was drowning in a mixture of their scents. A combination of Misty's perfume, cherry blossoms, and the musk of the male vampire was all I could smell as he violated me in exactly the way I wanted. His moans rang out in my ear, intermelded with a few soft growls, reminding me what he was. The noises were animalistic, blended with panting and soft praises like, "Such a good girl, riding me like this. I love those little whimpers pouring from you. I want more. Give me more."He reached up and laced his fingers into my hair, gently tugging so that my neck was exposed to Misty, who climbed on top of me. Once again, I was sandwiched between them, but this time, I was being taken.

While I was waiting for lunch, I decided to lie there and explore the room with my eyes. Though I was exhausted, I played it a bit much prior to Misty heading out, so technically I could get up and look through things. The risk was way too high for being caught, though, so I avoided doing so. I sat up, shaking my head and regaining focus. At that moment, I was naked, which caused me to blush. I'd be given clothing before I returned to my room again, surely.I refocused on the area. The room was typical of a gothic, punkish woman. Posters of popular alternative bands were on the walls, and some plushies were strewn about in the corner. It was charming to see vampires with something other than sex toys, I admitted to myself, which helped them be more human. A bonus given that certainly wasn't the intent, as she had no one to impress in this room aside from sex. That aside, I looked toward her dresser, noting a decent collection of dark make-up, a brush with some strands of her

Kisses were left all over my body. At the moment, I was draped over the sheets of the bed and being teased by Nicholas, who couldn't get enough of me. The tips of his fingers brushed over every sensitive area on my body.At some point, his claws pierced my flesh just as I hoped he'd do. Surface wounds barely bled, but they caused me to jolt. When he did this, he leaned over and began to lap the blood slowly, the wetness of his tongue caressing every nerve of that patch of skin. I shuddered, whimpering softly before him. The vampire gave an amused hum, leaning up and fixing his crimson eyes on me.A few strands of his hair fell into his face as he tilted his head, running his tongue over his lips slowly. "Love pleasure from me, is it? Enjoy playing with something that can put you in your place, pet?"He pulled me onto his lap, supporting the back of my head with one hand, and using the other to continue his exploring. First, he reached over and squeezed my breast, causing me

Things were going to escalate quickly, I felt, and I needed to find out more before I got myself killed.I stared at myself in the mirror, wincing at the ever-darkening circles under my eyes. Ever since I heard about the Cult of Ares, my mind has been clouded. I played my cards right and didn't appear suspicious to Misty, at least as far as I knew. We'd fucked a few times over the past few days, and she always treated me with respect. I couldn't tell if it was all an act, or if she just didn't know about the cult. Who knew? I had no idea what was in that box, either. Perhaps a human skull? Cults did things like that, and if this one was a vampire cult aggressive to humans, it may be the case there. Nicholas hung out with her a lot, so I suspected he played some part in the cult. My heart clenched at that idea. He was actually quite caring. He spent plenty of time on aftercare and ensuring I was alright. Well, I wasn't going to accomplish anything by just sitting here in my room

Here I was once again, caught by a vampire breaking the rules. If this was Alexander, I was absolutely done for.I held in a scream as I was dragged off into another room in a matter of seconds. I covered my face with my hands, gathering my bearings and taking in a deep breath. When I lowered my hands, I fixed my stare on none other than Nicholas, who was staring at me with a decent measure of confusion. Softly, he asked, "What are you doing exploring after dark? It's dangerous, you know." He loomed over me, causing me to shudder.Realizing that what he was doing may be stressing me out, however, he took a few steps back and just rubbed the back of his neck with a frown. "Sorry for startling you. I should have probably said something in the halls, but I'd rather just talk in here. Some people here are really adamant about the rules, to the point where you may get hurt if someone finds out you're breaking them. Not from me, though."I nodded, taking a deep breath and steeling m

Nicholas returned from the bathroom coming to cuddle. His woodsy cologne was overwhelming as he crawled into bed and wrapped his arms around me, pulling me into his chest. He nuzzled into my neck, unable to help but give a few teasing nips with his fangs, which admittedly were a bit distracting.I closed my eyes and exhaled softly, feeling the urge to just relax and fall asleep here with him. However, I had an objective, and I needed more pieces to this puzzle. Still, my mind, for just a moment, focused on how kind he was to me following sex. In the past, I'd dealt with people who didn't really stick around to care for someone who was pleasured. Cuddling was an important part of intimacy for me, so I was delighted these vampires did such a thing. The back of my mind, however, screamed for me to be careful. Year of luxury or not, I was prey in the eyes of these formerly mythical monsters. I wasn't sure how relevant that cult was to Lucy, but I knew Nicholas was. She could be dead b

"I don't think so," I replied quickly, then closed my eyes, giving a yawn.I did my best to will my body language to tell him I was too exhausted for him to continue. Either I was dead here and now, or he had a heart and would actually fall for it. Well, it wasn't exactly a lie. I was definitely tired, running on adrenaline now after all of the strain I'd been in tonight. Would I actually get sleep if allowed back into my room? Probably not. But it would get me away from Nicholas, which was what I needed right now.I felt Nicholas's stare on me and waited for claws to sink into my flesh, and not in a fun way. That, or teeth against my throat would rip rather than just bite. I had to hold in a scream when I felt arms wrap around me and pull me to Nicholas. His voice said in my ear, "Sorry, this conversation is stressing you out. After a day of thought and soft sex, I made up my mind to put the exploration on hold for a week. Not only was I overstressing myself, which was no doubt impacting the mission, but Nicholas was incredibly suspicious of me. I could ease the tension and de-stress by relaxing for a week, then returning to it later. The next morning, I got my fancy clothes on and decided to take a walk around the mansion. I really wanted to go outside, but that was strictly forbidden without being accompanied by a vampire. Therefore, the courtyard was off-limits during the day. I peered through some window curtains, examining the yard and smiling to myself. Lucy would have loved it here for sure, prior to her vanishing, anyway. There was a menagerie of all different kinds of birds, hopping around and playing in the birdbaths set up by the vampires.Statues of various animals, like lions, wolves, and bears were set up for the atmosphere. The area was surrounded by a pine forest, which I watched sway

I left Nicholas and Lucy alone for some time to themselves, wandering down the halls and heading back to where I knew Alexander was. A few hours had passed since I'd been in that room, given I'd fallen asleep in that chair. After all of the help I gave everyone and all of the movement involved, time had been chewed through significantly. When I passed by a window and opened the curtain, I noticed the sun was setting. A few minutes later, I arrived at Alexander's room and knocked on the door. "Come in," the vampire said.I listened, entered the room, and looked around, smiling at all of the shark decorations Alexander loved so much. Then, I looked toward him. Thankfully, his skin was no longer an angry red as it had healed up considerably since I'd been with Nick and Lucy. "How are you feeling?" I asked, prompting him to shrug. Even if he was healed well, he was exhausted and somewhat out of it like the rest of the coven. His eyes swept over me curiously, and eventually, he rais

Everything was a blur as I helped with healing procedures, using my training for once. I hadn't needed to at any point before, but after a gigantic vampire battle, unfortunately, it would be needed now. Many vampires had been mauled by The Vicious on the loose. I didn't ask questions yet, that would be for later. People were sent to their beds with instructions to rest and feed. Vampires could heal if they had energy, which was low right now. Sort of.I offered my blood, which most declined, but some drank out of sheer desperation. Those vampires began to heal, and while I grew dizzy once again, I knew it was the right thing to do. I really needed more blood in my system, though. Would I restore that by feeding? I'd eaten Remus entirely, which helped a lot. It allowed me to give the blood that I did to help the other vampires heal. Finally, I detected the scent of someone that made my heart flutter. 'Alexander,' I thought to myself, turning to walk down the hallway and giving a

A familiar and very bad scent washed over me right then, causing me to frown very deeply. I was grasping all of these new sensations still so much that I really couldn't pinpoint them. All I knew was that I felt my throat closing in anxiety as I glanced sharply to my side. Without warning, I stood up, and let out a low growl from the pit of my chest. Where the fuck had that come from?!I stopped, contemplating this as I saw something bolting toward me from the woods. It clicked seconds later that Remus had survived Lucy's attack and was making a beeline for me. Alexander had listened to my demands and was in the shade right now. There was no chance, therefore, for interception. We were both caught off guard. I shrieked as I was tackled to the ground, fangs sinking into my neck as Remus began to maul me mercilessly, quite as Lucy had with him. I jerked and squirmed, unable to do much as he did so. However, during this, arms wrapped around him and pulled him back. I hadn't taken

I was floating in a beautiful garden, of sorts. As my back touched the ground, I sat up and rubbed my head. I recognized this as a place from my childhood. I wasn't in control of my limbs, but I was seeing through my own eyes, coming to realize this was some sort of memory. I felt myself smile and turn toward a little girl frolicking in the garden. A giggle keeled out of me as the sun tickled my cheeks. This dream was lovely. I myself was just a little girl, the vague screams of memories from the present day only a pinprick in the back of my mind.My sister was here with me, approaching a rose garden and admiring them. The scent of spring billowed all around us as blooming flowers and maple trees. Gorgeous vivids and gold painted the areas coming from the plants as Lucy and I played in the garden behind our house. She gave a soft giggle as I hopped over to her, looking up toward me with wide eyes. I was about ten years of age right then; when times were much better. Before every

I choked on a cry as the vampire got closer, his voice haunting and causing my heart to pound in my ears. The promises he wove through the night were terrible, evil, and my entire body was wracked with a combination of pain and fear.My hair fell wildly into my face, making it hard to see, but I quickly tried shoving the strands aside and focusing. Right now, I could outpace him, but he probably had more endurance, which may be my downfall. "You want to know what it's like to truly be a pet?" Remus snarled out, weaving a cackle in with his words. "Humans are lesser. I will put you in your place. You may not like it, but you're not meant to. After all the trouble you caused, you need to be punished."If this language was coming from Alexander at the right time, aside from the 'lesser' and not liking it part, I may have been turned on. From Remus, and him meaning me genuine, non-consensual harm, though? Not a chance.I took several deep breaths, focusing despite my world swirlin

The Vicious's voice was Lucy's. After having listened closely to the sounds she made, and how her voice melded with her screams every so often, I could tell it was her. However, I knew that I needed to keep a clear mind and couldn't break now. This was my chance. Something happened during Lucy's attack, and Alexander was gone. I needed to go after him but suddenly got an idea. I turned to go rush off into the woods to find him when I froze. The squelching noise of the bat monster tearing flesh was all I could hear now as Lucy did her work.I turned and stared at the dark figures, those red eyes the only things gleaming. My entire world was once again just pain as I burned through the rope. The chanting around me waxed and waned as the crackle of flames taunted me, reminding me of what I was doing here and now. I needed to burn at least part of the rope so I could get my wrists free. Thankfully, Remus didn't tie the rope so that it was holding my forearms together, but rather just my wrists, crisscrossed on top of one another. Tears streamed down my cheeks, and I sincerely hoped no one was watching me do this. I was in full view, after all, but I think Lucy distracted them. As a matter of fact, the clanging of chains got louder, as did the erratic nature of the monster's screeching.Chanting turned to shouting as I realized they may be losing control of her, which was just great. If she broke free and wreaked havoc, someone could decide to pull the trigger on her, or something. Either way, my captors were distracted enough from the ordeal to allow this painful decision on my part, and there was
