His Date
Crista looked at the delicate bag that William had brought with him. She had not given it much thought the night before, but since he had already arranged it, she was not able to say no.
She lazily walked into the bathroom to wash her face and brush her teeth. After putting on the dress, she found that she was not able to pull the zipper. William sat on the couch, waiting for her, but after a long time he started getting impatient, so he pushed open the bathroom door and walked in, without even knocking. He saw Crista in the bathroom struggling to zip up her dress.
"Why... Why didn’t you knock?" Crista asked as she covered her chest with her hands.
William saw her face turn red, but still did not answer her question. He walked closer and said, "Why can't you just ask me if you needed help?"
Before she could even react, he closed the zipper on her dress. Even though her arm was still wrapped in bandage, it did not feel
What Trick Did You Play This Time The fashion show started. William and Crista sat in the front row and watched the models on the ramp. "Don't you have any thoughts about these designs?" William asked, leaning closer to her. Crista thought that she had only come there as an audience. After all, her designs were deleted after they were found to be stolen. She was not afraid of being questioned during the show. Fortunately, Carsie had returned to Italy because she had business to deal with. If she had been there, she would definitely have asked Crista why her designs were not featured in the show. "Mr. Ding, you want me to praise you or do you want me to lie?" Crista didn't want to make any comments, because William was the one who arranged this show. She felt that it would be not appropriate for her to say anything. "You can say whatever you feel like." William wanted her to speak her mind. However, Crista shook her head and sa
If You Kiss Me, I'll Let You Go Edric had observed Crista for a long time. The truth was that he had been observing Crista and William's relationship. Anyone who did not know them would think that their relationship was far from simple. "Mr. So, I don't know if I can do it well. I haven't had any experience in writing." Crista was still a little worried. If she screwed it up, then Ding Group would be the one facing all the embarrassment. "You don't have to worry about that. I will contact you if I have any questions about your writing. My phone number and e-mail address are on my business card. If you can't call me, then send me an email." Edric only said that because he saw that she was covered in injuries. Crista had no choice but to agree, so she gave him a nod. The fight between her and William over the design drafts were not settled yet, and she was most likely to lose her job because of that. After all, William could be nice to
Until I Get Tired Of You William's eyes became hooded, and a knowing smile touched his sensuous lips. "What?" Crista swallowed as she looked at the well-dressed man. The tailored suit fitted his muscular body to perfection. She felt the familiar flutter in her stomach accompanied by her legs trembling beneath her. He stood neatly clothed, dark and imposing, while her dress was already a pool of fabric on the floor. The man certainly knew how to gain the upper hand. “What are you thinking about?” William got closer and held her in his arms. "There are plenty of men at the party. Anyone caught your eye yet?" His words were full of jealousy. He saw Crista with Edric, and although he knew there would be nothing between them, it irked him to see his woman sneaking out with someone else. He brought her to the event that evening as his female partner, but the woman slipped away. He would see to it that she got the pun
Be A Qualified Mistress William knew that Crista wouldn't compromise easily. If it had been someone else, they might have put forward conditions, but William could only force Crista to submit to him. However, as soon as they were done having sex, Crista planned on putting forward certain conditions, to which she wanted him to agree. Perhaps he was too softhearted towards her. That was the reason he would agree to her condition, but then, they did have to make compromises. And Crista wouldn't refuse to that. Besides, she had never even thought of being with other men. After all, she had goals to take care of. "I promise." Crista smiled and added, "I will be your qualified mistress." She would only be his mistress, not his girlfriend or his wife, so she did not need to have any feelings for him. "What if I want a child?" William tried to push his luck. When Crista heard that, she trembled. Back then, he had suspected that she wa
She Needed To Take The Initiative To Please Him The next morning, Crista got up early and prepared breakfast for William. Once William was awake, he walked to the kitchen and saw that she had already prepared breakfast for him. "You didn't have to do all that. You are not here as my servant. You can work at the company, but that's about it. Once we get home, you are my woman.” His requirement was very clear. He just wanted a woman who would obey him and please him. "It's fine if you don't want to eat it, but I am hungry." Crista didn't want his kindness, and she certainly did not need his care or his pity. Besides, she did not care whether he wanted to eat or not. William saw that she was about to sit down and immediately lifted her, making her sit on his lap. "Mr. Ding , I don't think it’s appropriate for us to do such things right now." With that, she gave him a smile. She placed her hands on his chest and tried to p
Do You Plan To Be Mrs. Ding Crista was looking out of the window in the pantry, holding a cup in her hands. The coffee had turned cold, but she did not mind that. She gulped it all down in one shot. She tasted the bitterness of the coffee, and could not tell what felt more bitter, the feelings in her heart or the coffee. However, she thought that it must be a good thing for her. "Crista." Nimpha walked into the pantry and looked at her. "What's up?" Crista turned around and put down the cup. She knew that Nimpha was coming to gloat because she had lost everything, including the position that she used to have. Nimpha looked happy and accomplished. "Nothing, it's just that I can't help feeling sorry for you. You are Mr. Ding's woman, but he has removed you from your position as the designer. I heard that Chloe's achievements were also mediocre, and yet she has managed to replace you. Don’t you feel heartbroken?" Nimpha w
Why Should I Believe You That noon, Crista felt that something was wrong. People in the office were whispering among themselves as though they were discussing a secret plan. She got a hunch that they were talking about her. Chloe walked into the office with a newspaper in her hand, and said to Crista, "You haven't seen this yet, have you?” Actually everyone was talking about Crista and William, but they did not dare to talk about it in front of her. Crista took the newspaper and looked at it. There was a picture of her and Edric while they were sitting at the tea bar. Although they were not being intimate, Crista was smiling at him in the picture. And then there was a picture of her and William as he led her to the hotel suite. It was an intimate photo of them. The article said that she had dated two different men to achieve her goals. Obviously, there was not even one good word about her in the article as it was filled with judgment
His Gentleness William stood outside the study room door and looked at her. Crista was busy typing on the keyboard, so she didn't notice him. 'What is she so busy with?' he thought. "Crista.'' As soon as William approached her, Crista closed her laptop shut. "Mr. Ding ,what can I do for you?" Crista already knew that since Brian had gotten her the laptop, he would also want to know what she was using it for. He wouldn't believe if she told him that she was only using it to design clothes. Although William was a little displeased to see that Crista was on guard, he decided to pretend like he didn't notice it. He was willing to tolerate anything as long as she stayed by his side. "Make me a cup of coffee," William said to her as he sat down on the sofa. Crista didn't refuse. She stood up and walked into the kitchen. It didn’t take her long to make a cup of coffee for him. "You are going to be busy tonight, right?
You Are Not The Baby's Father Lewis sighed as he made Crista sit down on the sofa. "Will you feel bored staying at home?" Looking at him, Crista hesitated for a while before she shook her head. "Aren't you afraid that I might run away?" "Yes, I am." Lewis looked at her. He was obviously anxious. The only thing that scared him was Crista leaving him. "Then I won’t go out. I am afraid that I won't be able to control myself." Even though Crista knew that William had died, she still wanted to see him. She loved him so much, but she could not even see him one last time. "He is dead. Why are you so stubborn? Even if you did go back, what can you do now?” Lewis wondered why she was being so stubborn about returning to William. Did it mean that he would never get her love even though William had died? Would she never show him any mercy at all? "Then why do you have to do that? You can just leave me alone." Crista didn't want him to interfere her affair! He had lied to her many times n
There Was Still No News About Her Lewis walked over to Crista and saw her in a daze. "What's wrong, Chica? Do you feel sick?" Her face had turned paler, which worried him. Looking at him, Crista remained silent. She didn't stop him when he put his coat on her shoulder and helped her sit on the bed. "If you don't feel good, then you'd better take rest. Don't you remember that the doctor asked you to rest in bed for the first three months?" Lewis felt like he was talking to himself. Was she even listening to him? Crista reached out and touched her belly. Only when she felt the child in her belly would she feel relieved. Leaning against the bed, Crista took a glance at the newspaper that was on the bedside table. She had not thrown it away yet. Perhaps she was using it to remind herself that she should not forget William. Lewis sat next to her and talked to her, but Crista ignored him and fell asleep. A bitter smile appeared on Lewis' lips. He could talk for hours, but she would sti
Will You Be With Me Then, Lewis made Crista sit up and lean against a cushion. "Have some congee first, Chica. You haven't eaten properly for a few days. Or do you want to eat something else? I can ask Sara to make it for you." Crista had no appetite for the food in front of her, but still, she slowly ate as Lewis fed her until the congee was finished. "Chica, you need to take good care of yourself. You need to start eating well because your baby needs the nutrition." Lewis wiped her mouth with a tissue. "My baby," Crista murmured. "I still have a baby." "Yes, Chica. You still have your baby. That’s why you have to take good care of yourself so you won’t hurt your child." Lewis looked at her. Perhaps the thought of her child could snap her out of her lethargy and give her a reason to move on. "My baby, what are we going to do? It’s all my fault that you will never see your daddy. It’s all Mommy's fault, "Crist
He Died To Save Her Crista shook her head. "No way! I want William. He is the father of my child, and he has a right to know about it." Why should she be with Lewis? It was obvious that she resented him. 'What does he mean? And why did he say that he can be with me now that William is not around anymore? William told me that he will be there for me, and that I should wait for him!' Crista remembered it so clearly that it was simply impossible for her to forget his promise to her. "It is true that he has a right to know about your child, but it is too late for that now," Lewis said, looking at her, but in his heart, he was afraid that she might become hysterical and fall unconscious. "What do you mean by too late? What is that supposed to mean, Lewis? What happened to William? I want to see him... No, I need to see him right now!" After saying that, Crista rushed to the middle of the road, and stopped a car th
Let Me Love You In the end, Lewis chose to take Crista away. He went back to the ward, and looked at her. The doctor who followed him in gave her an injection. "Mr. Lui, if you still insist on taking Miss Jin away, then I'll have to finish the paperwork for you so that you will be able to go through the discharge formalities,” the doctor said to Lewis. Money had the power to do anything, so Lewis bribed the doctor to give some tranquilizer for Crista, so that he could take her away from there while she was still asleep. Gian soon arrived at the hospital. "Mr. Lui, everything is done." Lewis nodded and handed him a prescription. "Go through the discharge formalities for Crista first, and once you're done with that, you can go to the pharmacy and get her medicines. I will be taking her downstairs now." After Gia left the ward, Lewis changed Crista's clothes, put his coat on her, picked her up in his arms, and left the h
Escape In The Middle Of The Night If she had shielded William from the bullet, he would have been fine. Crista had done that three years ago, and she survived, so there was a high chance she would be all right again. It was a gamble, yes, but she was willing to take that risk. He should not have pushed her away. She did not need his protection! She now understood William's obsession with keeping her safe. But it was way too late, and she was tethering on the brink of losing her mind. Lewis looked at her, his brows furrowed in jealousy. "You will sacrifice your life for him? If I was the one on the receiving end of that bullet, would you do the same for me?" Crista kept mum, curling up into a ball, her mind tormented. She did not know if she would feel the same for Lewis. All she cared about was how she did not want to see William harmed. Maybe she would save Lewis, or maybe not. The thing was, she had not cont
Want To See Him Lewis held her in his arms as he still could not let her go- Crista had lost a lot of blood and had no strength left in her to struggle. She could only watch as Martin and his men helped William up. "Let go of me, Lewis! I want to be with him. I want to be with him!" Crista was scared. No one could tell what would happen to William as he had gotten shot in his chest. However, she hoped that he would be fine, and wanted to be by his side. William tried his best to stand up and said, "Chica, wait for me!" No matter how strong he was, he still could not help but faint. Martin shouted his name a few times before he looked at Crista and carried William out of there. He didn't take Crista with him because he could not afford to waste time now. If they continued to deal with Lewis, then William was going to die. Holding Crista in his arms, Lewis walked step by step towards Anpu, who was lying
It's Either Your Life Or Crista's When he heard Lewis mention Crista, William's expression darkened. "You kidnapped Chica, didn't you? What did you do to her?" "What I did to her? What do you think I did to her? I can do the same things that you did to her, right? Don't forget that I am a man, too, just like you!" Lewis said with a smug smile. 'What do I want to do to Crista?' Of course, Lewis wanted her, but she did not want him. She would not even let him touch her. She had struggled and resisted him for a long time now. But for William, she became pregnant. She was doing everything for William, but not for Lewis. She didn't care how deep his love was. She would rather hurt him than compromise. "As long as you promise to let Chica go, I'll do whatever you ask me to do," William said. He had made up his mind to do anything and to give up anything for the sake of her safety. "Are you sure that you are willing to do an
What On Earth Did He Want To Do With Her Lewis bent over and planted a kiss on Crista's lips. He had never kissed her long enough or often enough to his liking. It must be his lucky day! He cupped his hand behind her head, holding it steady as he explored her mouth deeper. Crista writhed to get away, very much on the defensive. The more she floundered wildly, the more the ropes scraped away under her skin. There was no chance to avoid his kiss! Desperately, Crista bit down on his lips until her mouth filled with the metallic tang of blood. She bit and kicked, trying to shake off the strong hand that held her fast, but Lewis persisted, tasting her until she almost suffocated beneath him. "Do you want William to know we kissed?" Lewis smirked as he wiped the blood off his lip. He lifted a hand and signaled to Anpu’s men to leave them alone. "What on earth do you want to do with me?” Crista heaved and panted, the struggl
