Do You Plan To Be Mrs. Ding
Crista was looking out of the window in the pantry, holding a cup in her hands. The coffee had turned cold, but she did not mind that. She gulped it all down in one shot.
She tasted the bitterness of the coffee, and could not tell what felt more bitter, the feelings in her heart or the coffee. However, she thought that it must be a good thing for her.
"Crista." Nimpha walked into the pantry and looked at her.
"What's up?" Crista turned around and put down the cup. She knew that Nimpha was coming to gloat because she had lost everything, including the position that she used to have. Nimpha looked happy and accomplished.
"Nothing, it's just that I can't help feeling sorry for you. You are Mr. Ding's woman, but he has removed you from your position as the designer. I heard that Chloe's achievements were also mediocre, and yet she has managed to replace you. Don’t you feel heartbroken?"
Nimpha w
Why Should I Believe You That noon, Crista felt that something was wrong. People in the office were whispering among themselves as though they were discussing a secret plan. She got a hunch that they were talking about her. Chloe walked into the office with a newspaper in her hand, and said to Crista, "You haven't seen this yet, have you?” Actually everyone was talking about Crista and William, but they did not dare to talk about it in front of her. Crista took the newspaper and looked at it. There was a picture of her and Edric while they were sitting at the tea bar. Although they were not being intimate, Crista was smiling at him in the picture. And then there was a picture of her and William as he led her to the hotel suite. It was an intimate photo of them. The article said that she had dated two different men to achieve her goals. Obviously, there was not even one good word about her in the article as it was filled with judgment
His Gentleness William stood outside the study room door and looked at her. Crista was busy typing on the keyboard, so she didn't notice him. 'What is she so busy with?' he thought. "Crista.'' As soon as William approached her, Crista closed her laptop shut. "Mr. Ding ,what can I do for you?" Crista already knew that since Brian had gotten her the laptop, he would also want to know what she was using it for. He wouldn't believe if she told him that she was only using it to design clothes. Although William was a little displeased to see that Crista was on guard, he decided to pretend like he didn't notice it. He was willing to tolerate anything as long as she stayed by his side. "Make me a cup of coffee," William said to her as he sat down on the sofa. Crista didn't refuse. She stood up and walked into the kitchen. It didn’t take her long to make a cup of coffee for him. "You are going to be busy tonight, right?
There Was No Way For Her To Change It Even though William had assured Crista that he would pick her up that afternoon, he was not able to concentrate on the conference that he was in. He guessed that Crista's condition now must be the results of the drugs from two years ago, and that, it might be impossible to cure her. He didn't even notice that the meeting was over until he saw that Carla was the only one left in the room with him. "William, I heard that Crista didn't come to work today. Did something happen to her again?" Carla asked. It had only been a day since Crista was discharged from the hospital, so how could she get sick again? "She's fine. Anyway, she doesn’t need to come to work for now." William meant that since Crista was not the designer anymore, she did not have to prepare for the fashion show, so she could rest and recover at home before she decided to go to work. Carla chuckled and said, "William, are you st
She Will Always Have Her Place Crista leaned against his chest, and silence descended between them. A moment later, she fell asleep, wrapped in William's arms. Listening to her even breathing, William held her tighter and soon followed her into a slumber. Ayla woke in the morning feeling refreshed. She was surprised to have a deep and satisfying sleep, which had evaded her the last few days. Slowly, she opened her eyes, finding herself still cocooned within Brian's arms. Judging from the slight frown on his face, he must feel uncomfortable. She moved lightly, wanting to sit up and escape his hold, but his hand holding her waist tightened. She raised her head just in time to see his eyes open. "Good morning," William whispered. His bedroom voice, coupled with the lazy look in his eyes, made Crista's face turn red. The thought of the two of them snuggling together so intimately and peacefully that night felt strange. William sta
She Lost Everything Because Of Crista Even after hearing what Carla said, William remained calm. Carla thought that he was not listening to her. Just when she was about to say something, William said, "Since you have made up your mind, I won't stop you. Do as you want." After hearing that, Carla knew that she had made the right decision. She would never win his heart, no matter how she tried. Even though they had been close for a very long time, they would soon start to become strangers again. "Okay, then I'm leaving." Carla pursed her lips, turned around, and walked out of the office. After closing the door behind her, she leaned against the door and tears began to trickle down her cheeks. She had already decided to give up, but just when she was about to leave she could not help but feel heart broken and helpless. William's ruthless words and his calmness had stabbed right through her heart like a sharp knife. When William's
Are You Worried About Me As soon as Crista opened the door, she saw William standing outside with an anxious look. "It's you...What are you doing here?" "Who did you think it was? I was knocking on the door for so long, but you did not open." William crossed her and walked into the studio. "I... Wait, why are you here?” Crista asked, while William carefully studied the dress that was displayed on the mannequin. "Am I not supposed to be here? If I hadn't come here, you would have stayed the night, won’t you?" He sat on the sofa and said, "Get me a cup of coffee." She glanced at him and replied, "There's no coffee, only water." 'Who does he think he is? He is in a factory, not a cafe!' "Then water will do." William put down his briefcase. He knew that Crista would lose track of time when she was busy, so he called the servant at the apartment and found out that she had not gone home. But then, he also knew that she was n
Can You Let Me Go William got closer to her and whispered in her ear, "Do you think it's not good to be my woman?" There were many women who wanted to live off him, but he did not care for them. He cared a lot about Crista, but she wanted to reject his love? Crista shook her head and said, "No! I'm capable of taking care of myself, so why should I depend on you? Besides, I feel that work is therapeutic." There was no way that she would just give in so easily. "Well, now that you're done with work for the day, you should do what you need to as my woman." William could not bear it when she ignored him and chose to work instead. However, he also didn't want to control her. As soon as he finished speaking, he lifted her in his arms. "My laptop is still on," she cried out. She wanted to make sure that she had sent the e-mail that she was working on, but William did not give her the chance to do that. He carried her to the bedroom s
Traffic Accident William squeezed her arm even tighter as though he had not heard her. Although they were being very quiet, they attracted people's attention. After all, it was not such a big deal for a handsome CEO like William to attract people's attention. Crista looked at William. "Then don't blame me for being rude!" As soon as she said that, she stomped on his foot with her high-heeled shoe, causing a dent in his shiny leather shoe. Even though she stepped on him, William did not flinch. "You're challenging me, Chica. Do you really want me to kiss you in public?" William whispered in her ear. Crista knew that she couldn't win, so she turned around and looked the other way while William slowly loosened his grip on her arm. As soon as the elevator doors opened, all the employees moved aside. No one dared to enter, or speak to them. Although William had his own exclusive elevator, they could not protest against him
You Are Not The Baby's Father Lewis sighed as he made Crista sit down on the sofa. "Will you feel bored staying at home?" Looking at him, Crista hesitated for a while before she shook her head. "Aren't you afraid that I might run away?" "Yes, I am." Lewis looked at her. He was obviously anxious. The only thing that scared him was Crista leaving him. "Then I won’t go out. I am afraid that I won't be able to control myself." Even though Crista knew that William had died, she still wanted to see him. She loved him so much, but she could not even see him one last time. "He is dead. Why are you so stubborn? Even if you did go back, what can you do now?” Lewis wondered why she was being so stubborn about returning to William. Did it mean that he would never get her love even though William had died? Would she never show him any mercy at all? "Then why do you have to do that? You can just leave me alone." Crista didn't want him to interfere her affair! He had lied to her many times n
There Was Still No News About Her Lewis walked over to Crista and saw her in a daze. "What's wrong, Chica? Do you feel sick?" Her face had turned paler, which worried him. Looking at him, Crista remained silent. She didn't stop him when he put his coat on her shoulder and helped her sit on the bed. "If you don't feel good, then you'd better take rest. Don't you remember that the doctor asked you to rest in bed for the first three months?" Lewis felt like he was talking to himself. Was she even listening to him? Crista reached out and touched her belly. Only when she felt the child in her belly would she feel relieved. Leaning against the bed, Crista took a glance at the newspaper that was on the bedside table. She had not thrown it away yet. Perhaps she was using it to remind herself that she should not forget William. Lewis sat next to her and talked to her, but Crista ignored him and fell asleep. A bitter smile appeared on Lewis' lips. He could talk for hours, but she would sti
Will You Be With Me Then, Lewis made Crista sit up and lean against a cushion. "Have some congee first, Chica. You haven't eaten properly for a few days. Or do you want to eat something else? I can ask Sara to make it for you." Crista had no appetite for the food in front of her, but still, she slowly ate as Lewis fed her until the congee was finished. "Chica, you need to take good care of yourself. You need to start eating well because your baby needs the nutrition." Lewis wiped her mouth with a tissue. "My baby," Crista murmured. "I still have a baby." "Yes, Chica. You still have your baby. That’s why you have to take good care of yourself so you won’t hurt your child." Lewis looked at her. Perhaps the thought of her child could snap her out of her lethargy and give her a reason to move on. "My baby, what are we going to do? It’s all my fault that you will never see your daddy. It’s all Mommy's fault, "Crist
He Died To Save Her Crista shook her head. "No way! I want William. He is the father of my child, and he has a right to know about it." Why should she be with Lewis? It was obvious that she resented him. 'What does he mean? And why did he say that he can be with me now that William is not around anymore? William told me that he will be there for me, and that I should wait for him!' Crista remembered it so clearly that it was simply impossible for her to forget his promise to her. "It is true that he has a right to know about your child, but it is too late for that now," Lewis said, looking at her, but in his heart, he was afraid that she might become hysterical and fall unconscious. "What do you mean by too late? What is that supposed to mean, Lewis? What happened to William? I want to see him... No, I need to see him right now!" After saying that, Crista rushed to the middle of the road, and stopped a car th
Let Me Love You In the end, Lewis chose to take Crista away. He went back to the ward, and looked at her. The doctor who followed him in gave her an injection. "Mr. Lui, if you still insist on taking Miss Jin away, then I'll have to finish the paperwork for you so that you will be able to go through the discharge formalities,” the doctor said to Lewis. Money had the power to do anything, so Lewis bribed the doctor to give some tranquilizer for Crista, so that he could take her away from there while she was still asleep. Gian soon arrived at the hospital. "Mr. Lui, everything is done." Lewis nodded and handed him a prescription. "Go through the discharge formalities for Crista first, and once you're done with that, you can go to the pharmacy and get her medicines. I will be taking her downstairs now." After Gia left the ward, Lewis changed Crista's clothes, put his coat on her, picked her up in his arms, and left the h
Escape In The Middle Of The Night If she had shielded William from the bullet, he would have been fine. Crista had done that three years ago, and she survived, so there was a high chance she would be all right again. It was a gamble, yes, but she was willing to take that risk. He should not have pushed her away. She did not need his protection! She now understood William's obsession with keeping her safe. But it was way too late, and she was tethering on the brink of losing her mind. Lewis looked at her, his brows furrowed in jealousy. "You will sacrifice your life for him? If I was the one on the receiving end of that bullet, would you do the same for me?" Crista kept mum, curling up into a ball, her mind tormented. She did not know if she would feel the same for Lewis. All she cared about was how she did not want to see William harmed. Maybe she would save Lewis, or maybe not. The thing was, she had not cont
Want To See Him Lewis held her in his arms as he still could not let her go- Crista had lost a lot of blood and had no strength left in her to struggle. She could only watch as Martin and his men helped William up. "Let go of me, Lewis! I want to be with him. I want to be with him!" Crista was scared. No one could tell what would happen to William as he had gotten shot in his chest. However, she hoped that he would be fine, and wanted to be by his side. William tried his best to stand up and said, "Chica, wait for me!" No matter how strong he was, he still could not help but faint. Martin shouted his name a few times before he looked at Crista and carried William out of there. He didn't take Crista with him because he could not afford to waste time now. If they continued to deal with Lewis, then William was going to die. Holding Crista in his arms, Lewis walked step by step towards Anpu, who was lying
It's Either Your Life Or Crista's When he heard Lewis mention Crista, William's expression darkened. "You kidnapped Chica, didn't you? What did you do to her?" "What I did to her? What do you think I did to her? I can do the same things that you did to her, right? Don't forget that I am a man, too, just like you!" Lewis said with a smug smile. 'What do I want to do to Crista?' Of course, Lewis wanted her, but she did not want him. She would not even let him touch her. She had struggled and resisted him for a long time now. But for William, she became pregnant. She was doing everything for William, but not for Lewis. She didn't care how deep his love was. She would rather hurt him than compromise. "As long as you promise to let Chica go, I'll do whatever you ask me to do," William said. He had made up his mind to do anything and to give up anything for the sake of her safety. "Are you sure that you are willing to do an
What On Earth Did He Want To Do With Her Lewis bent over and planted a kiss on Crista's lips. He had never kissed her long enough or often enough to his liking. It must be his lucky day! He cupped his hand behind her head, holding it steady as he explored her mouth deeper. Crista writhed to get away, very much on the defensive. The more she floundered wildly, the more the ropes scraped away under her skin. There was no chance to avoid his kiss! Desperately, Crista bit down on his lips until her mouth filled with the metallic tang of blood. She bit and kicked, trying to shake off the strong hand that held her fast, but Lewis persisted, tasting her until she almost suffocated beneath him. "Do you want William to know we kissed?" Lewis smirked as he wiped the blood off his lip. He lifted a hand and signaled to Anpu’s men to leave them alone. "What on earth do you want to do with me?” Crista heaved and panted, the struggl
