--Next Morning--

“Ugh...my head. It hurts,” Eve murmurs to herself, but of course, I could hear her. Even with her all mumbling to herself, her voice still had the stamina that could blast off speakers.

“Are you feeling okay?” I ask her.

“I..Uh..I don’t know. I feel like I had a really weird dream last night. Was there a party yesterday?”

“No, why?”

“I..don’t know. It feels as if I’m hungover. Like I’ve been up all night or something.”

I look around to avoid eye contact, but I knew it wasn’t gonna help her confusion. So I got up and walked over to her, touching her forehead and checking if she caught a fever or not.

“Your temperature seems fine. Do you still want to do over to the medical?”

“No, it’s fine. I’m okay. Anyway. June and I were talking the other day about the upcoming university tournament. You in?”

“Ugh, I’m not sure about that, Eve. I’ve never been into sports that much.”
