[Max’s POV]

The moment Trinity touched my mate’s hand, her head fell back, her eyes flipped open, and her eyes became all white. Damen, Sam, and I rushed to hold her in place.

“Don’t let her move, it will break the connection,” Trinity whispered to us, while a strange electric blue aura surrounded us from the ground up. The tension in the room from us and our men is incalculable, as we all worry for her safety.

“Is it Kali again,” Sam asks with panic in his voice. Never have I known a vampire to panic until now, and all of us are using all our might to push the fear down. “No, this is something else completely.

She seems to be a seer of some kind, but her energy is far different than anything I have encountered thus far,” Trinity explains. “Can you see anything that is happening from her mind,” Damen inquires as he strokes her left forearm that he is holding. “The visuals and sounds are extraordinary. I need to concentrate on her more though,” Trinity said with a hint that we should k

[Sam’s POV]The revelations we learned tonight weighed on my mind. Our mate is being pursued by the most dangerous beast we now know. I got up from the bed and watched as Damen moved closer to her to spoon her as she lay sandwiched between him and Max. My kind does not need sleep. Having been around for so many years, I have learned to allow my mind to meditate, somewhat like sleep, but I don’t do it often. Thirst on the other hand is something that we do need to satisfy. Feeling the dryness of my throat and the need to consume, I left our room for the kitchen, where we have a separate refrigerator full of blood bottles. Blood bags feel so cheap, so I have my staff stock up on the more expensive blood, which comes in decorative wine bottles. The blood is harvested mainly from criminals, as our treaty pact does not allow for innocent blood to be spilled, without consent, for consumption in our area. Occasionally, some humans volunteer their blood, but it has become less of a practi

  • Crossing The Bridge   CHAPTER 32: Fill Me Please

[Sam’s POV] My mate brings her lips into mine and they ignite in the most intoxicating sparks. Unable to hold back any longer, I rub my painfully erect cock against her dripping-wet pussy before I plunge it deep into her. Her moans fill my mouth and take me over completely. As I continue to slide in and out of her tightness, Max growls and places a finger inside her delicate ass. The unexpected intrusion causes her to jerk harder onto my manhood. She relaxes as we both stroke inside of her. Suddenly, I feel Damen’s hardened bulge rub against my behind, causing a rippling of anticipation and my cheeks to part for him. I slowed down my thrusting for Damen to fill me with his length. [Max’s POV] Feeling her arousal as if it is my own has my tip dripping with pre cum. Switching hands, I slowly drive two fingers into her essence that is currently occupied by Sam’s dick, and the gentle stretching causes her to lay her back into my chest. She is so tight, and we want to take ou

  • Crossing The Bridge   Chapter 33: Beach Time Fun

[Gia’s POV] After going over the plans for the ceremony, I spent a couple of hours being sized and choosing practically a whole new wardrobe, including the most elegant sapphire ceremonial dress. It is simple yet has exquisite detailing. We went to a small café that had a fiddler playing bubbly music that had us all feeling happy. My mates kept their promise and took us to the beach. Hearing the waves crashing along the shore and feeling the sun radiating on me had my heart feeling at peace. They set up huge umbrellas in the sand. I laid our towels down and helped Dante with his sunscreen. Damen and Sam scooped him up to go play in the water, as Max removed his shirt, and I licked my lips as my eyes trailed down his well-sculpted abs. “Are you liking the view,” he said as he caught my roaming eyes on him. “It is my favorite view,” I teased at him. “After this evening you will be the Luna to this pack and Queen of the Tri-City. How are you feeling about all of this, my doe,” he ask

  • Crossing The Bridge   Chapter 34: Coordinated Attacks

[Sam’s POV]When we pulled up to the mansion Stefan telepathically informed me that there was an attack in one of the small villages closest to my border. I sent him and Vinny to stay with Gia and Dante to keep them safe. Max also mind-linked me and said the same thing happened near his and Damen’s borders as well. This must be a coordinated attack. After making sure Gia and Dante got inside safely, Damen sat in the driver’s seat, and we drove down a short way to let Max out so that he could shift and run to investigate near his border. We took the link road, that runs in a circle through each of our territories. I got out of the car near my border and ran to meet up with some of my warriors who cleared the area. Everyone was put on lockdown until we make sure that all areas are safe. The leader of the nearby village met with me on his side of the border. The villages are small and consist mainly of farmers and craftspeople. The villages are sovereign territories, yet our lands pro

[Josiah’s POV] Kali was meticulous in planning his attacks to stay under the radar of supernatural leaders and councils of North America. During our time with him, we learned that he had already built a base of operations in Minnesota, as he sensed the presence of an important being there that he was hunting.Chelsea and I were required to lure and capture weak-minded beings to seek information on the special being and to build and feed his army. Initially, we were ordered to go on missions together. However, during a mission in Ohio, we made the mistake of trying to escape and for our punishment, torture was not enough. We were tortured in his mobile psycho chamber, which he kept in an RV that was ever present in his line of vehicles that we all traveled with. Afterward, as we lay at his feet bloodied and broken, he instructed that we were to be separated during missions.Chelsea would have to steal mates of high interest to Kali, by luring them with her beauty and then bringing the

[Gia’s POV] The attacks on the villages outside our borders pushed the start of the ceremony back a few hours. The moon will be opposite of the sun around midnight, so we still have time to make the most of our plans. Dante is in with Jackson and some helpers to get him ready in his little tuxedo. Jace escorted me to my and my mates’ room, where several women were waiting to help me get ready. After a relaxing bath in essential oils and rose petals, I finished getting ready before heading into our room. The room was lined up with the beautiful dresses we chose and one of the ladies helping me had me sit down to do my hair, while another beautiful she-wolf did my makeup for me. Normally, I do not wear makeup, but with this being a special occasion, I am willing to go out in style for my mates. My mind keeps racing back to the attacks though, and the potential for Kali to be behind them, but why would he order attacks on the villages, then retreat? What is he planning? If it was a pl

  • Crossing The Bridge   Chapter 37: Our Luna, Our Queen

[Gia’s POV] These two handsome gentlemen and I reached the back patio of our home. The door frame is lit up with warm fairy lights and bouquets of white roses in vases lined up outside the door.We walked under the door threshold, and I was struck by the most fantastic scene. Candles, fairy lights, and hundreds of bouquets in shades of whites, blues, and purples lined up a pathway, which had a floral archway above it, and led to my three mates standing on a half-moon-shaped stage.Never in all my life had I imagined I would ever get married like this, nor could I have pictured it so perfectly, as they had created for me. I have spent my life waiting for the other shoe to drop, living in survival mode, and often being made to feel like less than others.Yet, my mates, my guards, and all the people who have filled the hundreds of seats on either side of the aisle are here for them and me. My heart feels full, but my mind still worries this is all a dream.Holding back the tears that th

[Gia’s POV]It has been the most magical night! I am married to the three most wonderful men I have ever met. We danced for an hour together, before I was ready to retire for the night.Sam carried a very sleepy Dante up to his room and the four of us tucked him in and kissed his adorable forehead as he drifted off to dreamland. Jace and Jason both made a vow to me to protect me with their lives, then they went off to their rooms. Max carried me over the threshold of our suite door. Sam put on a warm bath in the huge tub, while Damen unzipped my dress. It is so late, but I will not spoil this beautiful night with sleep, besides my mates are all creatures of the night, I thought to myself with an inner giggle.Damen and Max disappeared through a door in our suite that I have not ventured through yet, while Sam left sparks on my body as he gently bathed me. After the bath, he told me to meet him by the door that Max and Damen went in through. I was so excited about the surprise and wan

[Gia's POV]The moment of impact of their magic upon my head produced tidal waves of energy into my being. It felt like a thousand hurricanes had collided with my skull, each with its unique fury and force, and they were all converging in an opus of chaos within my body. It was an experience beyond words, beyond comprehension, and yet, somehow, it was also beautiful in its terrifying way.The air around me seemed to ripple and distort. The world's colors blur and warp as if viewed through a broken lens. A bright light flashed before my eyes, momentarily blinding me before fading into a pulsating aura of energy that engulfed my entire body.I was thrust through an invisible portal in the sky and found myself falling feet first as the perception in the portal inverted. It is as if the two realms mirror each other's gravity, one where on one side you fly upwards, and the other you fall downwards. As my human vessel fell through the portal, a burst of energy filled my ears, drowning out a

  • Crossing The Bridge   Chapter 71: Metamorphosis

[Gia’s POV]Staring up at the four goddesses, I began feeling even smaller in these vast phenomena of life, death, the after, and in-between. “Once again, I see your wheels turning in your mind, my child,” Visha said. “How do I become what you want me to be? My soul has not even progressed to the next stage of the divine being. I know I was on the “soul” path to leveling up, but I failed in this life,” I said in a melancholy tone. “We brought your body here with you. We need that vessel specifically, as we coded it for your transformation. You did not fail! You are still on your soul path, but with an extra boost in leveling up,” Hecate declared. The word transformation pressed forward in my mind. “Yes, you will go through a transformation, one that will change you from mortal to immortal,” Visha replied to the thought in my head. Of course, she can read my mind, I said with an internal giggle. “Wait, immortal! But I will outlive Max and my son,” I questioned in panic. “The blessings

  • Crossing The Bridge   Chapter 70: Air of Revelation

[Gia’s POV]Time slowed as the towering goddess walked from behind the triple moon goddesses' thrones to me. My soul buzzed with electricity the closer she got. Like an Amazon woman in some cheesy 70's movie, her height was unbelievable, standing at least ten feet tall. Her skin shimmered as if every cell was made of diamonds. In contrast, her dress is the boldest color of sapphire. The dress was knee-length with triangular-fringed ends. A shawl covered one of her shoulders, and both garments were bound at her waist by a diamond-studded belt. My eyes followed the trail of her exquisite beauty to her dark black hair that disappeared behind her shoulders. Upon her head, she wore a triple-banded gold crown with fourteen dangling Lemurian stones placed approximately two inches apart. When my eyes locked on her sapphire-colored eyes, I felt mine roll back into my head. A warm and gentle breeze flew through me, and I could feel her large hand take hold of me. A feeling of warm sand unde

  • Crossing The Bridge   Chapter 69: Deceased

[Someone’s POV]“She sure does not disappoint, does she,” an unknown woman’s voice said in the distance. The voice was like a silk thread being pulled through a needle's eye, weaving through the air with a hint of mischief and curiosity.Feeling weightless in my once physical self, as if my body had been stripped away and all that was left was my consciousness, my eyes struggled to open to see which side of the karma coin my soul landed in this time. A loud metal-on-stone sound reverberated in my mind, as light seeped in through my sight. The sound pulsed through my mind, it felt like sharp vibrations were shooting through my entire body, causing my muscles to tense and my bones to ache. With a sudden burst of force, my soul slid back into a physical body. The feeling was jarring, like being thrown into the world without warning. As I gasped for air, the pressure of the cold floor on my face brought me back to my senses.Unsure if anyone could hear me, I managed to get the words, “Wh

[Max's POV]Still in awe of the magnificence of my mate’s ability to open the portal in front of us all, stunned my whole being. The portal shimmers and glows with an otherworldly light, illuminated by my mate's power. I stand mesmerized, unable to take my eyes off the scene unfolding before me.It wasn’t until Sam snapped at Damen and me through the mind link that I was fully drawn back to the present. “Is the spell wearing off for you both,” Sam asked. “I don’t feel any more effects from it, and the wolfsbane is almost out of my system as well,” I replied. “Great, I have already loosened the binds on my wrists and am working on my ankles now. Max, I know the silver is the worst for you, but can you and Dom manage enough strength to get free,” Sam inquired. My mind felt a jolt as Sam's message reached me through the mind link, causing a tingling sensation in my head. My fingers continued to fumble and struggle against the chains, causing them to dig into my skin. The silver chains ar

  • Crossing The Bridge   Chapter 67: Drowning

[Gia's POV]Staring into Kali’s eyes, I knew our fates were sealed. Kali's eyes were a deep, soulless black, like dark pits of coal. In them, I saw swirls of fiery red, reflecting the flames of destruction and death that burned within him. His grin was wicked and sadistic, revealing his true malicious intent.I did not falter or look away, as he marched straight towards me, with a grin that was twisted and malevolent, a clear sign of his sadistic joy.Our destinies seemed to align at this moment as if guided by the spark that had opened the portal between worlds. A mere mortal against a beast of all beasts, not quite the devil himself, but built by the devil with the sole purpose of the extreme demise of the beings of this globe. Every move he made exuded power and pure evil.Stopping roughly two feet away from me, Kali’s smile grew wider with a profound sense of inflated ego. “You have done well, my Queen. Your work is not only exquisite but spot-on and accurate. Bringing me directly

  • Crossing The Bridge   Chapter 66: The Portal

[Gia's POV]Staring at Kali’s eyes, black as night, glaring back at me with a demonic intensity. They seemed to pulse with dark energy, and I could see the twisted smile on his lips as he spoke. My mind quickly processed his words, “Open the portal, or watch as your mates lose their heads.” Fear gripped me, but I refused to let it show. My mates were counting on me, and I couldn't let them down. With a racing mind, I tried to come up with a plan. I knew I had to open the portal, but at the same time, I couldn't let Kali have what he desired. The triple moon goddesses' instructions were clear - the portal must be opened.Stop it, Gia, I scolded myself within my mind. I couldn't let fear control me or cloud my judgment. Taking a deep breath, I looked at Kali with determination, I can do this. The instructions from the triple moon goddesses flash before me, like a hologram projected onto the air. I can see the glowing images of Hecate and Selene, their expressions solemn and determi

  • Crossing The Bridge   Chapter 65: Open The Portal Or Heads Will Roll

[Gia's POV]We walked through a different door out of the ritual chamber and entered a long hallway. The air was heavy with incense and the sound of our footsteps echoed against the stone walls. I couldn't shake off the feeling that I was being watched, that the very walls were observing me and whispering secrets to each other. As we ventured down the hall, the torches lining the hallway seemed to ignite on their own as we walked by. It was both impressive and unsettling, the way they lit up without any physical touch. What type of craft is this-magical motion detectors, I thought with an internal giggle as I followed death with the others in tow. When we reached the end of our path there were doors made of rich, dark mahogany, their polished surfaces glinting in the light of the torches. As Death pushed them open, blinding white light flooded through, temporarily blurring my vision.[Max's POV]Waking up from Cyrstalla’s spell, I felt my wrists and ankles burning from the silver

  • Crossing The Bridge   Chapter 64: Mind of Darkness

[Gia's POV]The darkness seemed to stretch on forever as I flew back, the walls of the tunnel closing in on me until I hit something solid. It was pitch black, but I could faintly make out the outlines of the walls and ceiling. The darkness was so thick that it seemed to swallow every trace of light, the only source coming from a faint glimmer bouncing off the walls. I could see a liquid pooling around my hands, a viscous black substance that seemed to pulsate and writhe in the dim light. Again, in this darkness, I thought as I stood up and wiped my hands on my dress. "It will not be long now, my child," I recognized Hecate's voice as I stood in the darkness. Her words echoed around me, bouncing off the walls and filling the void with her presence. "Hecate?" I called out, my voice trembling slightly. I couldn't see her, but I could feel her energy surrounding me. "Yes, my dear," she responded, her voice coming from all directions. "What is this place?" I asked, looking around in
