[Gia’s POV]

As we entered back into the bedroom, The sharp and sexy looks of my mates took my breath away. Damen is dressed in dark faded and very well fitted jeans, with a button up white dress shirt, and a dark jacket.

His top buttons are left undone and show off his strong neckline, including my bite mark. Sam has a formfitting charcoal suit, with a satin-like fitted t-shirt under his unbuttoned blazer.

Max, with his hot bed hair that lays wildly past his ears, has on dark slacks that show off his well sculpted ass, and a fitted black t-shirt which allows his tattoos on his arms to dance when his muscles reflexively tighten.

Each of them looks me up and down, as they surround me. Max holds his hand out as Damen opens the door.

The hallway is full of conversation with Jace, Jackson, Alex, Chris, James, and Dante chatting and making jokes. Dante runs up to me and I kneel to wish him good morning with a big hug.

He places his little hand out and helps me stand back up. “You look beaut

[Gia’s POV]After hours of passionate love making with my mates, I laid back against Damen who sat behind me in the middle of our bed and closed my eyes.I felt Sam and Max laydown next to each side of me, and a blanket pulled up on the four of us, as they tangled their legs with mine and Damen’s.How did I get outside? I am still wearing the long sleepshirt that Sam put on me tonight. I am outside and it is so cold that I can see my breathe.Feeling the frost tipped blades of grass under my bare feet, my sight starts to get better. Woods are all around me and the only light is from the moon that tries to penetrate the thick forest around me.Wrapping my arms around myself to try to find some warmth, I scan the area around me for anything familiar but there is nothing, no path, no sign of a trail, and no lights in the distance. My pulse quickens in realization that I am lost and have no idea how I got here. Possibilities circle my mind, what if my mates were really using me and dumped

[Damen’s POV]“She is being sliced up! We need to get Trinity here now!” I yell to Sam and Max while feeling helpless. Sam gets off the bed to grab his cell phone and calls Trinity on speakerphone. Max stands up and is fuming with anger. He is fighting with his wolf to not transition right now. Trinity tells us that it will be some time before he can arrive, but that he is leaving now. “Fuck! We are running out of time. Look at her, she is bleeding all over!” I yell with complete anger-filled frustration.[Gia’s POV]Kali moves his hands to my breasts, squeezes them, and the pain of his claws digging into them is so excruciating that I squeeze my eyes shut to block my tears from flowing. Images of my son, family, and mates flash through my mind.I am incredibly scared right now. When Max’s face flashes across my mind’s eye, I instantly think of Dom, his wolf. “You will look at me, my Queen, when I am touching you. Open your eyes,” he commands. Knowing he might do worse if I keep my ey

[Gia’s POV]Pain shot throughout my body as I began to wake up. I can hear my mates’ voices and the voices of some other men near me talking about what just happened. My head throbbed as I opened my eyes.Dom is lying next to me, licking my fingers. His furry body is so warm and comforting. Looking up and slightly behind me, I see that I am leaning back against Damen’s chest, and it feels so calming. “You are awake my love,” Sam said as he lay down next to Damen.I nodded my head in confirmation and smiled. It is difficult to speak as my body has so many painful cuts on and in it. “Moving hurts. He cut inside my vaginal wall,” I said in a shaky voice, causing Dom to growl.Suddenly, Sam cut his forearm and brought it to my lips. “Drink, please. It will heal your wounds,” he said with sadness in his eyes. “Will it turn me into a vampire though,” I asked. “It is a possibility, but please you are in so much pain and it won’t take much,” he said. His dark blood was slowly dripping out of

[Gia’s POV]After revealing the details from the moment my hands touched Sam’s chest, when we first met, to what occurred in bed a few hours ago, we all sat quietly for a few minutes, while Trinity stared at me in deep contemplation. “May I touch your mate’s hand,” Trinity asked my mates. They gave him a yes nod. He brought his chair in front of me, reached his hand out and I placed my hand in his large hand. The moment our skin made contact the room when pitch black around me. I could no longer see any of them. Thankfully I had gotten over my fear of the dark years ago, but it is still unsettling being in this situation. I reached my arms out to try to find anything, but the darkness felt void of any surfaces or objects. Maybe this is part of his process, I thought to myself. As I stood there, trying to allow my eyes to adjust, I felt a slight breeze tickle my neck. Turning my head in the direction of it, I saw a faint light appear. Deciding to move towards the light, I began to ta

  • Crossing The Bridge   Chapter 29: Remember

[Gia’s POV]While laying with their bloodied bodies thoughts of joining them consumed me. Demons ran past me chasing stray humans. Some were occasionally caught, and the demons fed upon their flesh. The gruesome scenes were nothing anymore to the horror of losing my family.I turned my head from the beautiful and fading faces of Dante, Max, Damen, and Sam, to the stars above me. Time continued to pass by as I watched the stars slowly move through the night sky. While studying the stars, so many questions ran through my mind. How could this happen? What about the Gods and Goddesses, why would they abandon us in our greatest collective need? Why didn’t I fight harder? Why did I give in so easily to Kali? Where was the avatar? Why, why, and why?The stars kept shifting, but I noticed that one star remained in place. Focusing all my attention on that one star, with tears streaming down my face, I started to pray. I have no idea if any gods or goddesses will hear me, but I could not come u

[Max’s POV]The moment Trinity touched my mate’s hand, her head fell back, her eyes flipped open, and her eyes became all white. Damen, Sam, and I rushed to hold her in place.“Don’t let her move, it will break the connection,” Trinity whispered to us, while a strange electric blue aura surrounded us from the ground up. The tension in the room from us and our men is incalculable, as we all worry for her safety.“Is it Kali again,” Sam asks with panic in his voice. Never have I known a vampire to panic until now, and all of us are using all our might to push the fear down. “No, this is something else completely. She seems to be a seer of some kind, but her energy is far different than anything I have encountered thus far,” Trinity explains. “Can you see anything that is happening from her mind,” Damen inquires as he strokes her left forearm that he is holding. “The visuals and sounds are extraordinary. I need to concentrate on her more though,” Trinity said with a hint that we should k

[Sam’s POV]The revelations we learned tonight weighed on my mind. Our mate is being pursued by the most dangerous beast we now know. I got up from the bed and watched as Damen moved closer to her to spoon her as she lay sandwiched between him and Max. My kind does not need sleep. Having been around for so many years, I have learned to allow my mind to meditate, somewhat like sleep, but I don’t do it often. Thirst on the other hand is something that we do need to satisfy. Feeling the dryness of my throat and the need to consume, I left our room for the kitchen, where we have a separate refrigerator full of blood bottles. Blood bags feel so cheap, so I have my staff stock up on the more expensive blood, which comes in decorative wine bottles. The blood is harvested mainly from criminals, as our treaty pact does not allow for innocent blood to be spilled, without consent, for consumption in our area. Occasionally, some humans volunteer their blood, but it has become less of a practi

[Sam’s POV] My mate brings her lips into mine and they ignite in the most intoxicating sparks. Unable to hold back any longer, I rub my painfully erect cock against her dripping-wet pussy before I plunge it deep into her. Her moans fill my mouth and take me over completely. As I continue to slide in and out of her tightness, Max growls and places a finger inside her delicate ass. The unexpected intrusion causes her to jerk harder onto my manhood. She relaxes as we both stroke inside of her. Suddenly, I feel Damen’s hardened bulge rub against my behind, causing a rippling of anticipation and my cheeks to part for him. I slowed down my thrusting for Damen to fill me with his length. [Max’s POV] Feeling her arousal as if it is my own has my tip dripping with pre cum. Switching hands, I slowly drive two fingers into her essence that is currently occupied by Sam’s dick, and the gentle stretching causes her to lay her back into my chest. She is so tight, and we want to take ou

[Gia's POV]The moment of impact of their magic upon my head produced tidal waves of energy into my being. It felt like a thousand hurricanes had collided with my skull, each with its unique fury and force, and they were all converging in an opus of chaos within my body. It was an experience beyond words, beyond comprehension, and yet, somehow, it was also beautiful in its terrifying way.The air around me seemed to ripple and distort. The world's colors blur and warp as if viewed through a broken lens. A bright light flashed before my eyes, momentarily blinding me before fading into a pulsating aura of energy that engulfed my entire body.I was thrust through an invisible portal in the sky and found myself falling feet first as the perception in the portal inverted. It is as if the two realms mirror each other's gravity, one where on one side you fly upwards, and the other you fall downwards. As my human vessel fell through the portal, a burst of energy filled my ears, drowning out a

[Gia’s POV]Staring up at the four goddesses, I began feeling even smaller in these vast phenomena of life, death, the after, and in-between. “Once again, I see your wheels turning in your mind, my child,” Visha said. “How do I become what you want me to be? My soul has not even progressed to the next stage of the divine being. I know I was on the “soul” path to leveling up, but I failed in this life,” I said in a melancholy tone. “We brought your body here with you. We need that vessel specifically, as we coded it for your transformation. You did not fail! You are still on your soul path, but with an extra boost in leveling up,” Hecate declared. The word transformation pressed forward in my mind. “Yes, you will go through a transformation, one that will change you from mortal to immortal,” Visha replied to the thought in my head. Of course, she can read my mind, I said with an internal giggle. “Wait, immortal! But I will outlive Max and my son,” I questioned in panic. “The blessings

  • Crossing The Bridge   Chapter 70: Air of Revelation

[Gia’s POV]Time slowed as the towering goddess walked from behind the triple moon goddesses' thrones to me. My soul buzzed with electricity the closer she got. Like an Amazon woman in some cheesy 70's movie, her height was unbelievable, standing at least ten feet tall. Her skin shimmered as if every cell was made of diamonds. In contrast, her dress is the boldest color of sapphire. The dress was knee-length with triangular-fringed ends. A shawl covered one of her shoulders, and both garments were bound at her waist by a diamond-studded belt. My eyes followed the trail of her exquisite beauty to her dark black hair that disappeared behind her shoulders. Upon her head, she wore a triple-banded gold crown with fourteen dangling Lemurian stones placed approximately two inches apart. When my eyes locked on her sapphire-colored eyes, I felt mine roll back into my head. A warm and gentle breeze flew through me, and I could feel her large hand take hold of me. A feeling of warm sand unde

[Someone’s POV]“She sure does not disappoint, does she,” an unknown woman’s voice said in the distance. The voice was like a silk thread being pulled through a needle's eye, weaving through the air with a hint of mischief and curiosity.Feeling weightless in my once physical self, as if my body had been stripped away and all that was left was my consciousness, my eyes struggled to open to see which side of the karma coin my soul landed in this time. A loud metal-on-stone sound reverberated in my mind, as light seeped in through my sight. The sound pulsed through my mind, it felt like sharp vibrations were shooting through my entire body, causing my muscles to tense and my bones to ache. With a sudden burst of force, my soul slid back into a physical body. The feeling was jarring, like being thrown into the world without warning. As I gasped for air, the pressure of the cold floor on my face brought me back to my senses.Unsure if anyone could hear me, I managed to get the words, “Wh

[Max's POV]Still in awe of the magnificence of my mate’s ability to open the portal in front of us all, stunned my whole being. The portal shimmers and glows with an otherworldly light, illuminated by my mate's power. I stand mesmerized, unable to take my eyes off the scene unfolding before me.It wasn’t until Sam snapped at Damen and me through the mind link that I was fully drawn back to the present. “Is the spell wearing off for you both,” Sam asked. “I don’t feel any more effects from it, and the wolfsbane is almost out of my system as well,” I replied. “Great, I have already loosened the binds on my wrists and am working on my ankles now. Max, I know the silver is the worst for you, but can you and Dom manage enough strength to get free,” Sam inquired. My mind felt a jolt as Sam's message reached me through the mind link, causing a tingling sensation in my head. My fingers continued to fumble and struggle against the chains, causing them to dig into my skin. The silver chains ar

  • Crossing The Bridge   Chapter 67: Drowning

[Gia's POV]Staring into Kali’s eyes, I knew our fates were sealed. Kali's eyes were a deep, soulless black, like dark pits of coal. In them, I saw swirls of fiery red, reflecting the flames of destruction and death that burned within him. His grin was wicked and sadistic, revealing his true malicious intent.I did not falter or look away, as he marched straight towards me, with a grin that was twisted and malevolent, a clear sign of his sadistic joy.Our destinies seemed to align at this moment as if guided by the spark that had opened the portal between worlds. A mere mortal against a beast of all beasts, not quite the devil himself, but built by the devil with the sole purpose of the extreme demise of the beings of this globe. Every move he made exuded power and pure evil.Stopping roughly two feet away from me, Kali’s smile grew wider with a profound sense of inflated ego. “You have done well, my Queen. Your work is not only exquisite but spot-on and accurate. Bringing me directly

[Gia's POV]Staring at Kali’s eyes, black as night, glaring back at me with a demonic intensity. They seemed to pulse with dark energy, and I could see the twisted smile on his lips as he spoke. My mind quickly processed his words, “Open the portal, or watch as your mates lose their heads.” Fear gripped me, but I refused to let it show. My mates were counting on me, and I couldn't let them down. With a racing mind, I tried to come up with a plan. I knew I had to open the portal, but at the same time, I couldn't let Kali have what he desired. The triple moon goddesses' instructions were clear - the portal must be opened.Stop it, Gia, I scolded myself within my mind. I couldn't let fear control me or cloud my judgment. Taking a deep breath, I looked at Kali with determination, I can do this. The instructions from the triple moon goddesses flash before me, like a hologram projected onto the air. I can see the glowing images of Hecate and Selene, their expressions solemn and determi

  • Crossing The Bridge   Chapter 65: Open The Portal Or Heads Will Roll

[Gia's POV]We walked through a different door out of the ritual chamber and entered a long hallway. The air was heavy with incense and the sound of our footsteps echoed against the stone walls. I couldn't shake off the feeling that I was being watched, that the very walls were observing me and whispering secrets to each other. As we ventured down the hall, the torches lining the hallway seemed to ignite on their own as we walked by. It was both impressive and unsettling, the way they lit up without any physical touch. What type of craft is this-magical motion detectors, I thought with an internal giggle as I followed death with the others in tow. When we reached the end of our path there were doors made of rich, dark mahogany, their polished surfaces glinting in the light of the torches. As Death pushed them open, blinding white light flooded through, temporarily blurring my vision.[Max's POV]Waking up from Cyrstalla’s spell, I felt my wrists and ankles burning from the silver

  • Crossing The Bridge   Chapter 64: Mind of Darkness

[Gia's POV]The darkness seemed to stretch on forever as I flew back, the walls of the tunnel closing in on me until I hit something solid. It was pitch black, but I could faintly make out the outlines of the walls and ceiling. The darkness was so thick that it seemed to swallow every trace of light, the only source coming from a faint glimmer bouncing off the walls. I could see a liquid pooling around my hands, a viscous black substance that seemed to pulsate and writhe in the dim light. Again, in this darkness, I thought as I stood up and wiped my hands on my dress. "It will not be long now, my child," I recognized Hecate's voice as I stood in the darkness. Her words echoed around me, bouncing off the walls and filling the void with her presence. "Hecate?" I called out, my voice trembling slightly. I couldn't see her, but I could feel her energy surrounding me. "Yes, my dear," she responded, her voice coming from all directions. "What is this place?" I asked, looking around in
