My heart raced at the anticipation of holding Livia in my arms as others gawked over our powerful presence. Suddenly my mind took a turn thinking about the lustful eyes that would be on her. I giggled, imagining her mocking me.

My love for her is like a flame that's constantly growing, almost charming. I wonder if this is the same love my father had for my mother. He used to tell me stories about him and my mother in their younger years. She was a robust and innocent woman with a pure heart, something that was nonexistent in his world. Even though she was taken from me at a young age, I was lucky enough to be loved by her unconditionally. She had a smile that could brighten a room and a laugh that could heal the world.
