Freya Morgana is a survivor in a world overrun by supernatural creatures, constantly on the run from hunters and dangerous beings. After being taken in by the powerful alpha of the Crescent Pack, Raziel Dom, she falls in love with him and hopes to become his mate. However, when he chooses another werewolf, Fiona, Freya leaves in anger and sadness, and soon discovers she is pregnant with Raziel's child. With the help of Magnus Lexin, a warlock who protects her and her unborn children, Freya must navigate the dangerous world she lives in while being hunted by magicians and hunters who want her babies dead. But when she is reunited with her long-lost triplet brothers, Darian and Derien, who are hybrid twins feared by all, Freya must decide whether to seek revenge with them or to stay with Magnus or Raziel, who both want to protect her and her children. CHAPTER ONE

My feet pounded aggressively on the broken branches in the dense forest, tearing through the undergrowth with each stride. Despite the pain and discomfort, I cared little for the cuts and bruises that littered my skin. All that mattered was escaping. My wolf-like strength had carried me far, but even that was failing me now. My body was giving out, gasping for breath, and pleading for respite. Yet I refused to yield. I couldn't stop now. Not when that monstrous creature was hot on my heels.Every fiber in my being screamed in protest as my legs threatened to buckle beneath me. But I pressed on, determined to outrun the beast that hunted me. It was using its own inhuman strength, fueled by an unyielding hatred for my kind. I knew this all too well, having lived my entire life in a constant state of flight and evasion. My family had been mercilessly slaughtered by the same merciless hunters who now pursued me. Their thirst for blood knew no bounds, their hatred for our kind beyond compr

CHAPTER TWO

I leaped fts into the air as I felt the strong clasp round my forearm and when I was turning to attack the holder, my gaze met with a familiar brown shades. Not only were his eyes familiar. His brown hair, his pale skin, his pointed nose, his full lips, even his stance. Then, I remembered where I had seen them - the carbon copy actually - the auburn lady I spoke to when I woke up the first time. So, they were they related? I remembered her saying something about a Jake. Was he the one? In a split second, she emerged behind the man that still had his grasp on my forearm but, lighter than earlier. Holding a wooden spoon, she used it to smack his hand away from my forearm and he released me with immediate effect. Then, she turned to me, holding a tight-lipped smile. "I see you are awake? How do you feel?"I hesitated a bit before I willed myself to answer. "Great." My gaze levelling to hers, I searched it for answers to my questions. I still had a lot of them lingering in my hea

CHAPTER THREE

I hadn't won a fight with a vampire before. The last time I fought with a vampire, the result was regrettable for me. I remembered how it flung me against the trees and choked me, dangling me in the air effortlessly, and I trembled. I recalled feeling pains in my spine, my ribs, and everywhere else for days. The vampire's bites and scratches left scars on my body to this day. And it was only one that had inflicted those things on me that day, but, now, I had two vampires plodding over to me with determination. I have been avoiding the open arms death offered to me all these years, but now I think it's time to walk into it. However, I wasn't one to give up without a fight. I knew there were zero probabilities of me winning, but there was no harm in giving it a try. So, I let them capture me. I watched as one of them grabbed my hands and pulled them together behind me, and the other held my throat in a tight grip, digging his claws into the skin there. I was choking and pulling a

CHAPTER FOUR

When my eyes peered open and a bright bulb blinded my vision, I brought my fingers up to conceal the light. My whole body was numb, and my throbbing head fought to recall what had happened. I remembered seeing Matthew and Jake desperately rummage through the forest for Aurora before I blacked out. I remembered getting knocked down by that vampire. I tried to shoot up from where I was lying on the cement floor, but my body protested, screaming in pain. My vision finally adjusted, and I realized I was in a cell room, the glittering white bulb being the only thing in the room. After relaxing and massaging my body to relieve its numbness, I got up on my feet and looked around. The walls of the cell were thick cement with few cracks, and when I pressed my ears to the walls, using my sensitive hearing ability, I heard nothing; it was still and quiet, and there was not even a sound of someone breathing. The cell bars were aluminum, stainless steel, thick, brass, and rusted. I flung mysel
