“MA, there's no way Mama wants to order Evan to beat Rein and Jake, right? As for Rein, whatever, but Jake is someone else's child, Ma!” Syila's sudden protest made Jake frown.

So what if he was beaten by Evan? The man wasn't even bigger than him. Evan's body was thin and tall, but judging by the shape of his muscles, Jake clearly will win.

“Why? You don't agree?” Syila shook her head quickly. “Why not? You like him? You feel sorry for him? You want to marry him right away?”

“It's not like that, Ma, but I feel sorry for him, Ma. Geez!”

God knows since when Evan got behind Syila and immediately patted the top of her head. “It's not going to be a mess, Syil. He can fight if he wants.”
