Chapter - 20

JAKE got up as soon as Syila's shadow disappeared down the corridor that led to the kitchen. He woke up when he heard the ringing of his cell phone. He was not interested in picking up the call, because he was sure it was not an important call.

However, Jake was surprised when Syila grabbed the phone and immediately slammed it on the floor instead of turning off the annoying phone.

Smelling something was wrong, Jake would rather pretend to be asleep than he would fight with Syila before eating dinner.

Jake took out his cell phone, checking its absolutely pathetic state. The edges are scratched, the screen is cracked, can no longer turn on, and indeed can't be saved anymore ... for the second time.

The man sighed in resignation. He didn't mind having his cell phone destro
