Camille's POV

"Will you be okay?" 

Uncle Robert stood before the cabin door, staring at me with pity in his eyes.  

It was the same look most people had on their faces when they attended Dad's burial earlier today. I could imagine what they all thought in their heads.  

The poor kid just lost her father. She's an orphan now. Others attended with a rather snobbish look on their face. Robert had told me who they were.  

My father's business associates. They were investors in Dad's company. And I could imagine what went on in their heads.  

To them, I was the new head of the company. And I didn't exactly have experience or a good reputation to run a company. I was the wild puny daughter, who only knew how to spend my father's money and had no clue how hard he worked for it.  

"I'll be fine," I mumbled
