Camille's POV

Crap.

I tapped my bag nervously. "It's nothing,"

Gavriel's eyes narrowed, and he stepped closer. I could feel his warm breath fan my face as he demanded.

"I asked a question!"

Shit. I thought I had hidden the mask quickly. I couldn't risk Gavriel finding out that I was the stripper. He would definitely stay away from me.

Or worse, he could tell my father.

"It's none of your business!" I yelled. "It's just a silly game I play with Megan. Now, if you're done being such a brute, let me go!"

"Watch your tongue," He hissed, looking confused. "Who is Megan?"

"A friend," I scoffed, adjusting my bag. I tightened my grip on it. I couldn't risk him trying to snatch it off. I doubted he had noticed the mask designs. Or that he had figured it out. Yet.

People around us watched on, probably trying to figure out what was going on and who we were. Gavriel simply stood there, those eyes peering at me.
