Hugo stopped going home to his own house and stayed at my house for the following days. He even brought his clothes there, as if he planned to live in my house. During those days, we argued every day because of what he was doing. There wasn’t a day when I didn’t tell him to go back to his own house. He didn’t say anything else except that he wanted to be with me.

“Do you and your husband have any plans to have children, dear?” Aling Perla curiously asked while getting the shampoo that I specifically bought from her store.

I furrowed my brow at her words. “Husband?”

She nodded and handed me my purchase. I handed her the payment.
