“Let me go!” Persephone growled, trying to rip her hand off from the iron grip on her wrist.
“I said, let me go!” She yelled, trying to move but with a sudden yank, she was thrown into the ritzy room, falling on the ground.
The aura of the cellar spelling danger, sinking her heart in anticipation of fright, especially his action.
“Now, shut this mouth.” Zadicus’ stone-cold voice came, entering the room and locking it, contemplating her bewitching body with a dark smirk on his lips, approaching her like a predator.
“You will gain nothing by keeping me imprisoned.” She hissed, looking up at the dominant man before her, colliding with an intense gaze.
“You have no idea what I am going to gain.” Letting out a low husky laugh, his steps reached his victim steadily, indulging in the shiver she emitted by the proximity.
“What…?” She dared to ask, swallowing hard, raising her orbs to meet his.
With a growing smirk, he growled, reflecting his animalistic urges, “Pleasure.”
Trembling by the assertiveness of his words, her eyes widened in disbelief, moving back, refusing to believe the man before her is the same person she called her lover.
“Zadicus.” Murmuring his name, she moved back but grabbing the chain on her ankle, he pulled her back, placing her under him, securing his hand across from her, indulging in her powerlessness.
“Don’t you dare-” He cut off her seductively.
“Ah, dear, Be careful of your words. They will determine your consequences so you better use them wisely.” He warned, traveling his eyes from her desirable lip to her body and back to her flickering eyes.
“You are not the man I loved.” She whispered, narrowing her eyes in disappointment, repulsed by the lack of distance, by his ruthlessness.
“Exactly.” He hummed, tracing his finger on the side of her face, with a gentle stoke, his fingers moved to her hairs, gripping them harshly, jerking her face to his.
“You have murdered me long ago.” Snarled, he pushed her away, rising from the ground, staring at the woman before him, mien devoid.
But no matter how hard he tries,
His eyes cannot neglect the agony she gave him. His eyes showed his pain. His eyes showed everything.
“You chose it. You chose darkness.” She breathed out, curling her hands in a fist, glaring at him.
“And now you shall also remain in this darkness with me. I will make you witness the darkness you etched, you will see what you have made me.” He hissed, pulling her from the ground and throwing her on his bed.
“It’s not me..” She whispered, holding the hem of her shirt.
“It’s you. It is you who killed me, you left me at this point and for compensation…” He trailed seductively, clenching her heart in sorrow.
“You will serve as my personal satisfaction.” Enunciating, he came closer, opening his shirt and sitting up, she tried to control her emotions and let out a mocking chuckle.
“Oh, so now you are a beast too? How low do you want to fall in my eyes?” Her statement wiped his smirk, replacing it with seeth, displeased at the audacity to speak before him.
“Thanks for reminding me that leaving you was the right decision.” And upon hearing this from the person who killed his emotions, his heart, it infuriated him, gripping her hairs, he moved dangerously closer to her face, hissing.
“Thanks for reminding me that leaving you was the right decision.” mocking he pushed her back and crawled up to her, holding her down by his bare strength.
“You are not worthy to be loved, Persephone.” Speaking, his face was adjacent to her. “You cannot love anyone.” With the final growl, his lips latched to her neck, kissing it fiercely as his free hand moved to hers, intertwining his fingers in a perfect rhythm, indulging the embrace deprived from him years ago.
“Argh, s-stop.” She tried to push him but his action escaped a moan from her lips, “Still love my touch, hmm?”
Humming he continued, forming a firm mark on her neck, the indication of his possession. Moving his lips left a trail of kisses from her shoulder to her cheek and then stopping at her lips.
“Accept it, Persephone. You are aching for my touch. There is no one here, they won’t see your desperation.” He provoked, placing his knees between her legs, preventing her to shut them.
Restricting her actions according to his seduction. “Come on.. Let it out.”
He hummed, hands touching her skin as if it was made for him, loving the warmth of her skin in his palm, barely resisting his desires, “Stop.” And no matter how much she tried to neglect his touch, she couldn’t.
“I.. would never..” Losing her breath, curling her toes but his keen action, amplifying the buried desires but controlling them, she shut her eyes, “.. love an.. Infidel.”
The word infidel constricted his heart, enhancing his wrath ten times darker than before, burning his chest in a fiery fire. “That is who you were and shall remain, Zadicus Snyder.”
Snarling, she hit his chest, pushing him off but registering her word for two seconds, she grabbed her wrist and yanked down to the ground, holding her jaws furiously.
“Infidel huh?” Breathing out slowly, he closed his eyes for a moment, barely controlling himself but she has shattered his boundaries of patience.
“Fine then.” Roaring, he ripped her bodice open and moved his hand in the air and snapped his fingers as the chains on her ankles and wrist tightened, refraining her feet or hands to move as she fell on the ground, trying to resist or use her magic but he has in her clasp entirely.
Stand up, Zadicus stared down at her powerless form, converting his fury into immoral amusement, opening the remaining buttons of his shirt, throwing it away, scanning her body before declaring his intentions,
“I will show you what this infidel could do.”
“My liege.” A voice called their leader, Zadicus Snyder, consumed by dark powers, lost in his gloomy memories with a dead expression. “Hmm?” He hummed, elbow resting on the armrest of his throne, cheek on his fist, eyes closed to gain some relaxation but to no avail. “What do you want now?” He asked coldly, rolling his eyes off.In this loneliness her memories chase him desperately.“For how long do you intend to remember an unfaithful?” Avin asked, narrowing his eyes but sighing he leaned back on this throne of blood.“Until I enslave her in my domain.” He replied, staring down at his hands with fire burning in his eyes.“That day is chasing quickly.” Avin said, reassuring his Lord. “Upon your orders, We have burned down the Heaven’s Tower and kept Lord Chester as hostage.” He informed him which brought an evil smirk on his lips.“Great.” Humming, he could feel the electrification of chasing his dark desire, he wanted to see the extent he is willing to reach for one prisoner.Lord
“My Lady, Please spare some m-mercy.. W-We are sorry.. Please..” The criminals cried hopelessly as the Army Commander Persephone Sage dragged them through the hallways, their blood staining the path of her lavishing mansion.“We are sorry..!!” They cried, crawling back but the chain didn’t let them, throwing them in her training grounds, which halted other soldiers who saw their commander. The strongest warrior of Aziel; Persephone Sage, the fiery fire of Phoenix, notorious throughout the lands for her ruthlessness but never telling what converted her heart into a storm.“Should have watched your actions before.” She replied coldly, kicking down their bloody bodies. “Soldiers! Etch this in your minds! Traitors are given a life worse than death. You love where you live, what do you lack in our blessed land?!" She called."Yet, look where your greed led you. It is our duty to keep our grounds safe from scum like them. A traitor will remain a traitor and we must deal with them accordin
There came the evil wizard in disguise of an irresistibly handsome Prince under the ruse of alliance, chasing his intentions with thundering speed as others were unaware of it.I never thought I would return to this destable land. Hmph, still the same. He thought with a bitter smile, contemplating the surroundings until his eyes met hers.“There she is.” Causing his heart to skip a beat, halting his very existence when he saw her from afar, still bewitching enough to capture any heart in her captivating hazel eyes."Ruth" He called one his fifteen commanders, narrowing his eyes and the spark emerging from him converted into a fiery fire of hatred."Yes, My Liege?" Ruth asked, setting her eyes on a tower. "Spread out. You know what to do. We cannot stay here long." He ordered with a vile smirk."Yes." Bowing, They vanished in the air before anyone could notice."Have we met him before?" Persephone whispered to Kriss, perplexed by Zadicus's gaze upon her. "Nope. Yeah, His Father visit
“Try to understand Kriss. Zadicus is here and he is planning something big!” Persephone argued, going after Kriss, trying to convince him. “And how he managed to come?” Kriss asked, stopping in his tracks, turning to her. “You are the one who will be held responsible in the first place. It was your duty to secure our land.” He told her the bitter fact but it didn’t falter her determination.“And I have fulfilled my duties but Zadicus is here, you have to believe me.” She insisted, pulling his arm. “Oh really? For once I can believe, of all people, he came to see you first but how?” He asked, yanking his hand back, folding his arms at his chest.“The Prince! He is not Prince Jazeel, He is Zadicus!” She growled, raising her voice, which caused Kriss to cover her mouth.“For God’s sake, Persephone, Lower your voice!" He whispered-yelled, vexed about her feral behavior. "It hadn’t been a single day and you are claiming him to be Zadicus, don't be absurd. On which proof are you making
“Assholes, mocking my capabilities.” Persephone growled, slamming her hand, the rage flickering on her face showed the fun made out of her state.“I won’t let them invade our land, I will protect Aziel at all cost.” She hissed, running her hand in her hairs, making them messy.Randall was disquiet about her reaction, unable to comprehend what is special about tonight and what threat could possibly occur in this surety.“What could have grazed us, My Lady? Why are you so hasty tonight?” He asked.Doubting her at this point but when a collected person is vexed then it must be something so he places his faith upon her judgment and following orders.Halting her tracks, Persephone glanced at him and then back at the full moon, whispering with stress, “Tonight… we might fall.” His eyes widened in disbelief, blinking, considering it to be a jest but it was not. “Fall? I.. don’t understand. What do you mean?” He asked for his confirmation.“I meant what I said and as the Army General, I mus
Persephone blinked, trying to register his words and her wrongdoing. The action of fulfilling what is required to save her land ended up in its devastation. “He knew… He knew I would do anything to save my land.” She breathed out the unintentional mistake she made. “And took advantage of it.” Hissing, she slammed her hand down, trying to perceive how to get out of this predicament. “What are you saying, My Lady?” Randall asked, distressed by her reactions and words. “We are in the most terrible position.” She breathed out the state she is stuck in, punching the wall, cursing under breath, losing her mind. “What should we do now?” Randall asked desperately and all her faze converted into pure rage, cursing him in her heart. “How did this happen? How could this break out in a single night?” She asked, regaining her senses with extreme difficulty, going with him. “The rebel party you caught. It was not only one of them, they were a whole organization and they have begun their attac
Her words brought a scowl on his face but containing his emotions he simply glared at her. “It’s your own fault. I never asked you to stay in my memories, Persephone.” He scoffed, disregarding her words. “Then why are you after me?” She asked hopelessly, mixed in her dilemmas, seeing him revived the emotions and scars she buried long ago. “A simple desire. I want you. That is all.” He chuckled, assaulting her sensitive nerves, evoking distress. “I can’t believe it…” She breathed out, taking a step back, shaking her head, refusing to believe the extent he is using to possess. “How low are you planning to fall, Zadicus?” She asked sorrowfully, holding the hem of her dress. Kriss noticed the glint of anguish in her eyes, inducing pity mixed with an unknown hint of jealousy he didn’t show in his heart. Only seeing the intense emotions shining in her eyes. “Why do you care? What can you do to stop me, huh?” Zadicus growled, losing his forbearance by her words, coming closer. “Can yo
Zadicus was sitting on top of the royal palace, scrutinizing the scenario aesthetically pleasing to his desires, smirking atrociously while staring at the ravage taking place. He died to see this sight, their condition similar to his heart’s.“My Liege,” A voice called, his Number 2, dragging him out from his rhythm of joy.He hummed, motioning her to continue and she informed about the death of number 10 which made her vexed to think how they could survive until the final act.“Kriss Emmett has killed Walter.” His smirk grew wider, anticipating it, “I see…” Looking up at the Moon, he spoke to himself, wallowing in the sight, waiting to see what it might take for Kriss to realize.“Let’s see how many commanders you can kill before you figure out my true plan, Kriss.” Meanwhile among the army, a wave of exhilaration evoked, cheering to know their Prince is on their side and nothing could harm them anymore.“His Highness has killed commander number 10!” They cheered, their faith st
~Leaving this corrupted tale behind like a chapter in the past…~ Knocking, he took a deep breath, the sensations he once used to feel for her no longer existed, replaced with a delight to find his most cherished people binding in a sacred bond. “Persephone.” Kriss called, opening the door slowly to find Persephone an exquisite princess gown with a veil over her head. She had tears of felicity in her eyes which she wiped quickly and grinned at him, “Kriss?” Kriss returned a kind smile, taking a step towards her, standing before as his eyes contemplated her form, she looked like a princess who was about to end her fairytale. “You look angelic.” Kriss whispered sincerely, stopping at her eyes, felicitous for both Persephone and Zadicus. “Thank you.” She mumbled sheepishly, not used to fancy dresses and gowns but for her special day, she wore the most beautiful floor length lace gown, embroidered heavily. “Zadicus is dying to see you. He is so lucky to have the one he loves. No
While they went to take care of the guest, everyone else was lost in their own world and matters. Waiting for the final moment delightfully. Amid them, Tabit noticed Vera coming with her two years old adopted daughter. Vera wanted to give her life a meaning and adopted a girl from the orphanage. “Hey. How’s Ava doing?” Tabit asked, waving sweetly at Ava. Tabit had changed entirely, the deadness in her tone had faded, the seriousness in her eyes no longer existed, she had become a jovial person. “Good.” Vera smiled, patting her daughter’s head, considering her new meaning of life, offering her everything to this kid now. “Ava, Say hi.” Vera whispered, “Hello.” She greeted sweetly, bowing out of respect. “Hey, sweetie.” Tabit greeted, patting her head and noticing her happiness, Vera asked about her wellbeing, “What about you, Tabit?” “I am doing great. Actually better than I could ever be.” Tabit grinned, straightening her back to turn to Vera and talk to her. “Glad to hear
6 Months Later. Things were finally coming to their nonchalance, everyone was learning the ways of this new world gradually, everyone was accepting their lives- reviving the dead economy of Fier. And after a devilishly long time, the time to make a promise Zadicus made to Persephone had come, the day where their souls would connect eternally had finally come. Their wedding. In a three piece white suit, having an expensive brooch on the label. Hairs combed perfectly behind followed by a clean and trimmed beard unlike before. Clearing his throat, Zadicus looked at himself, checking himself to see whether he looks fine or not and smiled, remembering his Father in this auspicious event. “Finally, this day has come, Father.” Zadicus breathed out, looking out from the window of the grand house he once called his home, smiling beautifully. Following his Father’s steps, he had devoted his life to knowledge and education, he would lead a new generation through his powers and knowledg
After Tristan left, they all exhaled in sadness, turning to each other. “Tristan left too now. First Juniper and Ahlum and now him.” Vera whispered, not liking there were reducing in numbers but at least no one was dead.“I am going home.” Kriss said sadly, not wanting to talk about it anymore, ever since Juniper left, Kriss was totally depressed, he didn’t want to talk with her anymore.“I will check-” Persephone was about to speak but Zadicus stopped her.“Don’t check up on him. He needed to be alone. You guys go. I need to take Persephone somewhere too.” Zadicus said, taking Persephone’s hand.“Where?” She asked but he began to drag her away with him as quickly as he could, leaving everyone bewildered at his rush to take Persephone somewhere they didn’t know about.“Just come. We are already late.” Zadicus said, panting heavily while they were running down the forest, hands tightly locked together so no power of this world could part it. “Zadicus?” Persephone asked, worried at hi
Time passed in a blink of an eye, it had been a month, most of the damage was recovering gradually. Obviously the loss of lives couldn’t be recovered but people were trying to save whatever is left.Everyone was back to their position, to their duties. Many people died so everyone joined in to help. Continuing the family’s work, Zadicus left all violence behind and chose knowledge. He became the education minister, continuing what belonged to his family. Tademono's lineage had always been scholars and he would continue it with Daphne as his assistant. Sir Lark lost his life so Ruth pinched in to handle the country’s security. Of course they would have to work hard to gain acceptance but they did.“I am placing all my faith in you guys. Do not disappoint me. I have already lost too many people and you guys are the saviors.” His Majesty sighed but he truly had no choice but to have their help due to the crisis.“Rest assured, My Lord, we will devote ourselves. You can trust my people
Smiling, Kriss didn't wait for a second and pulled her into a passionate kiss, moving his fingers to her hairs, locking them perfectly to gain access to her lips so he could kiss them with all his endearment.Juniper was taken aback for a second but melted into his pure affection, closing her eyes, pulling his shirt as she kissed him back, moving her lips in unbreakable sync with his. They both smiled, kissing each other passionately. Juniper was slightly sloppy while Kriss’ talented lips gave her a whole new sensation of euphoria. Chuckling huskily, Kriss pulled away, holding Juniper possessively, “Be mine.” He pleaded, losing his breaths, having one desire left in his heart. But it wiped her felicity, replacing it with the apprehension of what she ended up doing in spur of emotions. “I can’t.” She whispered, horrified, realizing she ended up being manipulated by feelings.“Why not? You love me, I love you, I am willing to do everything.” Kriss asked, laughing nervously to wonder
Since Juniper was injured badly, she took a prolonged period to recover from that injury. She was sleeping peacefully until she felt long nails running down softly.Opening her eyes slowly by the foreign feeling, she saw Ahlum was no longer there with her but Delora was.She gasped instantly out of fear, unable to move while she was stroking her hairs.“How are you, Juniper?” Delora’s seductive tone came, caressing her sister slowly. “Fine.” She gulped, alarmed in her presence but her body was not ready to move and judging Ahlum’s disappearance, Delora must have taken her back to Yizar.“You guys did great. I knew he could do this. Zadicus had this potential in him.” Delora whispered sincerely, pulling her hand away, tracing her finger down to Juniper’s scar on her back, ruining her beautiful sister’s skin- according to her.“Are you here… to kill me?” Juniper asked hesitantly, swallowing hard in dread to wonder what she wanted from her.“You had enough adventure. I cannot risk your
“Finally the old man is retiring.” Vera chuckled, shaking her head to see Azen finally giving up on his position as the leader of Red Rain.“Yeah…” Tabit and Vera smiled at the adorable scene before them, looking at the elderly couple made them have faith in love. Their love had been the same for years. Rose is Azen’s lifeline. “Boss, we found someone from the assassin’s camp.” Since Tabit had become the leader of Red Rain, her responsibilities were enhanced. Sighing, she grinned, waving at all of them and left to see. Being from the camp too, she knew what could save a lost soul. Before Tabit, a thirteen year old kid was there who had no hopes of living just like her. She won’t ruin another life. I won’t do what Azen did. They are kids after all. Tabit thought compassionately. Taking a deep breath, she bent on her knees, holding her hand out to the kind who was unknown to kindness.“Hey, I am Tabit. Nice to meet you.” Tabit said happily, giving a sudden spark to the child befor
Sunlight penetrated through the curtains, falling on the face of a handsome man, covered in bandages, sleeping on the king-sized bed, waking him up from the deep but peaceful slumber of his.Opening his eyes slowly, his eyes fell upon a beautiful lady who opened the curtains to allow his skin to absorb some sunshine. Turning her head, she returned a sweet smile, whispering with a most loving tone of hers, “Hey…” Blinking, he regained his senses, clearing his vision from the light and noticing his beloved sitting next to him on the bed.“Persephone?” He called, blinking a few times before gaining his ability to see properly.“How are you feeling, Zadicus?” Humming, Persephone ran her fingers down his soft raven locks while holding his hand with her other hand, caressing him like a cherished possession.“Isn’t it... Your room?” He asked vaguely, sitting up, groaning in pain from the fight, looking around to find himself in the room he never thought would come again, finding himself o
