Hello, readers.
I Hezz Dan is awfully sorry about something. Just found out that one chapter is outa place.
You see you need to read 'Transdimensional before the two 'door of destiny's (s). Those are chapter titles. Just a little mix up. Hope you get over it. And understand the story.
Thank you guys for following my book and having a good read. It means the world to me, that's what I live for.
Hope you found the adventure of Tom Salisbury great as you venture with us through time and memories.
Leave a note and a nice review, though honest takes the preference and brutally honest if you must be. Take my hands as I take yours and let us ride this wave. It's what we live for.
Cheers 😘
Tom's eyelids stretched and fluttered as he came to himself. He staggered a little bit, danced around for a while before finding his footing. He craned his neck, covering his eyes to shield the abrupt shot of light after the limbo journey. What he saw was a clear and pristine land, barren but supple. He couldn't say if it was dawn, twilight or dusk, everything was bathed in sepia and the figures were like things that can never exist on earth. He could make out the long and obtrusive mountains with cratered peaks. They stood like flat and lazy bears and didn't look imposing at all like the mountains he knows in Greece. They were like drawings on a dreamy canvas. He turned to the man before him and questioned… "where is this? Where are we? " his puzzled eyes never leaving the older man. "This is, " the older man took a breath, "the magic era. "
Tom was wandering around the mountain range looking at the people who were living there. He could see and feel the ooze of happiness flowing from them. Little children and their mothers chasing after them giggling like they struck gold. Their face was literally glowing and Tom couldn't feel more for fear of going numb. It was as if he was living in his dreams which is almost true save that this dream is more corporeal. He turned to look at a woman arranging some sticks when she blurted out something that made his heart jump, tumble and roll over. It has always been what he has been hoping for. The thing that rules his dreams. "If this is a dream please Horemakhet I don't wanna wake" Tom said. "Senapio! " the woman shouted and the wood she was holding up sna
He was moving through a hazy cloud being transported to another place. Along the way he sensed the presence of Horemakhet however, the man was nowhere to be seen. He ignored the sensation, he is now used to all these abnormalities. The clouds were flying fast and the breeze were very cozy almost feeling like a warmly heated house. Suddenly, he felt ground, his feet planted in a patch of carpet grass, he stretched his eyes to see the horizon and what he saw also gave him the thrills. He was on a hilly part of a village he realized. Cracking his tiny neck, he trudges forward to see what was there in the valley. Pumping his air canvass as he walked, he arrived at the edge of the hill, and spread his eyes to the edges and ridges of the hill before bringing it back to the valley below him. What he saw was a mysterious wonder that left his mout
He felt fulfilled. He felt happy. What he had seen left him satisfied. If the world will go back to this era, who knows? Everything might be fine.A light breeze blew around him and he turned himself to see. There was Horemarkhet perched on a humongous beast that resembled a rhinos. He sat atop the beast like the god of war. The sight was very imposing, nevertheless, nothing can stir Tom's mind now which is as tranquil as a holy sea.The voice of Horemarkhet boomed across the grassland to Tom."It's time to go back Tom. Mount the beast." He commanded.
There on the dry and golden desert grounds there was a red tape guarding the whole place making it look as if a house was just bombed. Men on green scooted around the place like weary ants drained by lifting food seven time heavier than them all day. There in the midst of all those brawls stood a light red haired officer with a walkie-talkie nestled in his hand and chest murmuring some harsh reports. A tiny girl squeezes his fingers tighter while her eyes were all set with an unquenchable flame that seem to passed through some dousing attempts from the tears in her eyes. She was staring at the cordoned humongous pyramid with such earnest gusto and love that she seemed to even possess a psychic connection to it
Tom sat on the train lost in deep thoughts. His eye lids fluttered with the fluttering breeze and his pupils mirrored the speeding greenries and the bustles perfectly. Everyone was dead quiet. It was as if they had just been rescued from the most frightening dares like in the armageddon movies. A silent music can even be heard around, floating serenely through the air from the basilica some few blocks away from the railway. The voice of a female soloist seared through and sped down the spines of all and sundry sat in the train. As if on a cue, shudders ran through everyone spine simultaneously and a slights gasps of skimpy reliefs filled the coach. Tom himself heaved a heavy sigh too and relaxed.
As he finally made it out of that slum, he heaved a sigh of relief which was caught halfway as something just dangled to the ground behind him. He immediately spurn his neck around to check out the source of the sound. No matter what, it is not safe to be here, or anywhere near.He hurriedly walked away, it seemed as if the speed was not enough, he started jogging making sure to keep his footsteps light and if possible, silent. As he turned round the street he saw some group of hefty men jogging his way and his heart almost left him.
He was walking down the streets of Rome when he saw a huge cathedral. He stopped once and had a strong pull towards the building. Looking either way warily as if a baby stealing milk, he ran across and into the church yard he went. The whole place was eerily quiet and was still like a still drawing. It was the kind of quietness that will make you tiptoe though you know you are doing nothing evil. Tom actually started tiptoeing making sure not to make any sound, till he was in front of the gigantic double doors of the cathedral.
