~How can a lost ever become a victory?~
_
How did this happen...? The beast, the same one she had come to kill was her mate. She didn’t get it, she didn’t understand...how could the beast be her mate? And how could it be an omega in human form?
Omegas could not withstand the power the beast had according to the elders, so...what was this now?
Was she mistaken? No, she couldn’t have been, she saw the full transformation, the beast had turned into a man, this man...
Should she...should she kill him?
If she did, then she’d really get to prove herself to father, but she would be left without her true mate for the rest of her life...would she be able to live like that?
But even if she couldn’t, how would she ever love a beast?
Verya lifted her gun, pointing it at him. He was dangerous, he’d probably try to kill her when he woke up, she had to kill him.
Her finger pressed lightly against the trigger but stopped when the omega in front of her groaned. He reached for his injured arm, the one she had shot him in, holding his hand against the wound.
“Hurts...help me...someone help me please...”
His eyes flickered open and when they met hers, fear scourged them completely.
He sat up slowly, shuffling back as tears blossomed in his obsidian eyes. “Are you...that gun...? Will you kill me? We...we’re mates.”
“And do you think I don’t know that?” Verya lifted her gun, steadying it at him. “I’ll kill you even if it means I’ll feel pain.”
The tears that had settled in his eyes fell down his cheeks, his hand falling impotently by his side. “So...So, in the end, not even my mate wants to save me? I don’t know what I did to anger you, but if you must kill me, do it... I’m better off dead anyways.”
The pitiful look in his eyes pulled at her heart strings, but she remained austere. “You don’t know what you did?”
“I-I don’t even know how I ended up here...it hurts, it hurts all over and I don’t know why.”
Verya tilted her head as she looked at him, confused. “You don’t? Then what do you remember? Where were you before you woke up here?”
He turned away from her, clenching his fists. “I-I was behind the pack house...I was about to get beaten.”
“Then how a...?” Verya jutted the gun at him. “You better not be lying to me.”
The omega shook his head frantically. “I’m not, S-So please tell me... how did I get here and why...why are you pointing a gun at me? I’m scared.”
Goddess...Verya’s eyes drifted to the sky as she shook her head in disbelief. He wasn’t lying, was he? There was this innocent look on his face, this clueless expression that undoubtedly made him look cute.
His blonde chin-length hair was scattered messily across his forehead, his obsidian eyes staring at her with so much hope that she unconsciously dropped her gun, becoming defenceless. “It’s nothing, I just found you here, so I thought you were the beast...come here.”
It was a lie, but could she tell such an angel looking boy that he was a beast that she came to kill?
Slowly he crept over to her, but stopped mid-way. “The gun...I’m scared of the gun.”
Verya dropped the gun completely, stashing it aside. It was a foolish decision, but blame that look embedded on his handsome face. “It’s gone, come now.”
The omega’s eyes drifted over to the gun, then back at her before finally closing the distance between them. “I...I’m...” he looked away from her shyly. “Please... don’t h-hurt me.”
“I won’t.” She grabbed his hand, the one that had been injured, noticing that the bullet wound was gone now, completely healed. “You can heal fast too, huh? What’s your name?”
He swallowed. “Sathe...Sathe Burne.”
“Nice name.”
“Will you...will you reject me? I-I still haven’t gotten my wolf, I’m useless and you... you’re an alpha.”
His head was held down, voice pitiful and desperate. “I’ve always wanted a mate, but I never had hope that they’d want me back, so it’s okay...you can reject me.”
“Are you telling me what to do right now?” Verya lifted his chin, her hazel eyes staring him down in a way that it was impossible for him to not cower. For some reason, his words which coaxed her to reject him angered her. “You’re right, I’m an alpha...you have no right telling me what I’m supposed to do with you.”
She leaned closer to him, her lips so close to his ears. “I won’t reject you... you’re cute, and so my mark will soon be right here.”
Her finger tapped his neck and he shivered, the rapid and loud beat of his heart audible to his ears. “O-Okay...”
“Good boy...”
She let him loose, moving away from him. Good boy? Was she a f*cking kinky pervert? He was the beast, what was so f*cking good about him anyway?
His scent? Fresh mint leaves and lotus flower...
Or his face...so tiny and yet so handsome.
Verya wasn’t sure of that, and she wasn’t sure what exactly she was going to do with him either.
He seemed innocent, seemed like someone incapable of even killing an ant, but something so dangerous was lurking right inside of him. She couldn’t take him home, father would kill him if he ever found out that the beast was within him...and somehow she didn’t want that to happen.
He was her mate...a weak and puny omega, if she didn’t protect him, who would?
Standing to her feet, she picked up her gun, placing it in the strap against her thigh. “If you’re going to come with me, follow me now.”
Sathe nodded, shakily standing to his feet. His cheeks were red, his neck and ears too...perhaps because he was standing on the borderline of fear and happiness.
His mate had this dark, austere aura around her, but she said she wouldn’t reject him, she told him she’d mark him and showed him exactly where...
That...just that managed to rile him right up. The way she said it, her voice, it made his body hot. He’d never felt this way before...he...he
His steps stopped when hers did, and she turned to stare at him. “But will you follow me around like that? Are you a pervert?”
Sathe’s hands that were situated in front of his most private area shivered. “I-I...I’m sorry...?”
“I can smell your arousal Sathe and your little hands are doing absolutely nothing to hide it.”
“Uh...I...I’m...” Sathe stepped back when she took a step towards him, continuing until his bare back landed against a tree.
“Take care of it Sathe or perhaps you want me to do it for you?”
( ꈍᴗꈍ)
A/N// Don’t worry Sathe, I’m hard too!
Lmao they’ve finally met, my people, what do you guys think?
Y’all ship them or nah?

_~Lust awakened from the dust, blurring the vision of its preys and bringing them nothing but pleasurable days~_“I’m...I don’t know...” Sathe looked down when her arm caged him against the tree.“Is it because of me?”“Y-Yes...”“Then doesn’t that mean I should take responsibility...hmm?” Her index finger ran along his naked chest and down his flat ab-less stomach. “Answer...”“N...yes.”“Look at me, Sathe...”Sathe slowly lifted his head, facing her. “Yes...?”“Do you want me to take care of it or not?”“I...I do...”“Then move your hands. my little monster.”Sathe’s movements were hesitant, but he listened and by his sides his hands now laid. His eyes were so caught up in her hazel ones. They were beautiful, she was beautiful. He’d never have thought that someone as useless as him could ever get a mate that looked like this. Her black hair was so tall and beautiful and that smirk on her plump lips was doing something to him. There was this sensation running through his body, an i
Verya turned to face the young man. “What?” “Who do you think you are?” “Somebody you shouldn’t be messing with, let go of me.” The boy chuckled, his fist clenching by his side. “You f*cking b*tch...were you never taught how to respect a man?” “I never once thought of my father as a man so I guess you could say so. And just so you know...I don’t think of you as a man either.” She looked down at his hand that gripped tightly into her shoulder. “For the last time, let go.” This idiot was looking down on her because she was a woman, he was just as bad as her father and the members of her pack. But unlike her father and the stupid pack members, she wouldn’t go easy on him. Here she wasn’t under any restrictions, she could break his arm and wouldn’t get scolded after, she could make a mess out of his face and turn his stomach into a punching bag and wasn’t pointed fingers at. ‘You’re a woman! Women were born to be submissive, they weren’t born to overpower and beat men...’ Yeah well
Verya watched with wide eyes as Sathe’s arm was taken over by the same dark, red fur the beast possessed. He was angry now, she could smell it, palpably feel it and if the beast took over his body now, then everybody would know that he was the culprit and they’d kill him.She had to stop him, if she didn’t the...Sathe lifted his hand to attack, but Verya grabbed it, forcefully separating him from the troublemaker. She grabbed his face, not missing just how completely black his eyes were. “Calm down, Sathe... don’t let the idiot get to you...inhale deeply, then let it go.”Sathe looked at her, nodding his head and slowly, the whites in his eyes started to form again, the fur on his arm receded back into his skin and then he fell unconscious against her.She hugged around him before he could fall, turning towards the idiot behind her. “Look what you did!”“That’s not the problem here, did Sathe just growl at me?”“And what if he did?” Verya scoffed. “Come help him on my back, he’s unco
In no time, Verya caught something, a rabbit and a small squirrel, and as Sathe caught fire to the woods he gathered, she skinned and washed the meat in a nearby pond which she had found with her good sense of hearing. The useless sticks that fell from the tree branches up above were put to use and soon the meat was being roasted at a high heat. Both Sathe and Verya sat, watching it for there was really nothing else to do. The silence between them was so deafening that it became uncomfortable, especially to Sathe. His eyes drifted over to his mate; slowly, shyly, his little hands clenching as he spoke, “You didn’t tell me your name…can I…can I know your name?” Verya looked over at him, slowly nodding her head. “Come closer, I’ll whisper it to you.” Sathe nodded, shuffling closer to her on the soft bed of grass where they sat. “Now…?” Verya shook her head. “Closer Sathe.” Sathe’s cheeks reddened as he looked between them, finding absolutely no space, if he moved any closer, his ski
After breakfast, they once again began their journey, Sathe behind Verya…somehow, he couldn’t get the name out of his head, it was so beautiful, it felt like food to his mind. He wanted so bad to call it but he had no reason to.If only he could find an excuse, but he officially had none. He couldn’t think of anything to ask, and furthermore, he was still embarrassed by what happened earlier. They didn’t get to finish the sinful act they had been conducting, and it was pretty awkward between them.He still remembered how soft her bare skin had been beneath his hand and how soft and demanding her voice had been when she told him to touch her too. His excitement was sky high, anticipation and anxiousness had almost killed him, they were like imaginary arrows boring through his chest, and it had been even more torturous when everything just stopped. He wished it hadn’t, he didn’t care about the meat, it was nowhere near as tasty as her lips, it didn’t touch the pit of his stomach like th
Verya slowed down when the borders of her pack came into view. The sun was out, but barely, its light was dimmed awfully low, the night hadn’t much long turned to dawn after all. Her paws trotted forward, the beautiful silver fur now tainted by the brown dirt she had ran through. Pass the borders she went, passing the red cloth that marked the very start of her pack’s land. She was nervous, she didn’t know what her father would say, he didn’t permit her to go on the hunt, he had told her not to go and she sneaked out and was now coming back in with a guest that was probably uninvited. Sighing, she stopped when the pack members, the ones on patrol surrounded her. “Jonathan was worried, he sent pack warriors to look for you, yet here you are unscathed.” Verya glared at the man that spoke, she’d roll her eyes if she could. ‘Move…’ She mind linked him. “Your father said to lead you to his office the very day you make it back.” ‘Both you and my father can go f*ck yourselves. Get me a
Sathe shivered against her as pleasure wracked through him, unimaginable pleasure, so much pleasure that it came with pain. His knees buckled and it was Verya who steadied him, her teeth sinking even deeper into his neck, making the pressure he felt below even more intense. When she pulled away from him, his c*ck was hard; dripping with precum, and the blood that leaked down his neck, she licked it all up. “Sweet…” she whispered, the smirk in her voice audible. “You taste sweet…”Sathe’s shaky hand reached for his neck, running along the palpable mark that now laid there. “Verya you~”“Shhhh…it’s father’s time to speak now, he’s obviously dying to.”Sathe turned to face Verya’s father, feeling and smelling the anger even before he saw it. The man’s face was as red as blood, his eyes were bulged wide. “Get out!” his voice boomed loudly across the walls and Sathe jumped at the sound of it. “Get out both of you…!”“Why?” Verya asked, perplexing him even more. “What? Was that not apart of
Verya threw the sheets off of her, switching on the lamp on her bedside table to illuminate the room. It was quiet, but she knew at least three pack members were standing outside her room door and probably another two below her window too. It wouldn’t be a hassle to take them out especially if Jake wasn’t among them. It’d probably take her up to just seconds to knock the ones below her window out. According to her, jumping out her window would be the quietest route. There were other pack members in the pack house where she stayed. She didn’t want to fight the ones at her door and risk waking the members up. That would only cause her more trouble. So she’d jump down her windows, take out the idiots down there and then sneak her way into the dungeons. Sathe was probably scared, he was an omega after all, and she doubt he’d ever been locked up before. Moreover, she had marked him and the need to be by his side was haunting her, so it was probably worst for him. Sighing, she crept over
Sathe’s heartbeat froze when the fluttering of wings drifted across his ears. They were closer, just above them. He took a chance, looking back at the creature that stalked the sky and he wasn’t wrong, it was a fae… ‘Help…’ he called out to his self-consciousness. ‘Help me…please…’ The beast within him responded almost immediately, it was as if he had been waiting to be called. ‘Pathetic…’ Sathe closed his eyes as his control slowly slipped from his grasp. He could feel as his eyes changed colour, and feel as fur covered his arms. His claws came forth next, unintentionally sinking into Verya’s thighs. “Owe…Sathe…what’s tha…?” She looked down at his arm, eyes widening when she saw what was happening. “N-No…Sathe you can~” “Verya!” Both Sathe and Verya turned to stare at the creature who called out. It landed behind them, and Sathe growled as he turned around to look at it. It was a fae, yes, but it was a child. She stepped back, holding her hands up in defence. “Jake sent me…he tol
Sathe woke up wrapped in Verya’s silver fur as well as the redolence of her scent. It was comforting, after spending two days away from her, waking up in her scent was a privilege to him.But regardless of that, he had to leave again…He sat up, turning to stare at her. It was dark out, and the cold breeze swept across his bare skin like hands: harsh and cold, but despite being in her wolf form, Verya seemed to be suffering from it more than him.She was shaking, and even in her sleep, her teeth were chattering. He didn’t think she was fine, she didn’t at all look fine. His hand reluctantly reached for her, but he stopped before he could touch her. He had been thinking of using this opportunity to get away without her knowing, but if he woke her up, he’d lose it, wouldn’t he? She’d stop him, he knew, only a couple of words from her could persuade him.But how could he leave when she was like this?Sighing, he shook her awake. “Verya, are you okay?”Verya’s hazel eyes fluttered open, s
“Are yo~” He stumbled back holding onto his chest. “My session is over…this is the longest I can keep my control over this body. It’s too weak…I have to go…”The black in his eyes cleared to white and Verya caught Sathe’s body before he could fall. He was out cold, a log against her shoulder…Sighing, she struggled to get him on her back, not because he was heavy, but because it was hard to relocate a limp body. She managed, but that didn’t stop her from frowning as she carried on deeper into the woods. His body was putting pressure on her injured shoulder, she wouldn’t be able to get far like this, but she had to try. Jake would be suspicious if he found her with a naked Sathe covered in fae blood. She had to find them water where they both could wash what was supposed to be a secret off of them. However, even with the determination, she didn’t get far enough, she had to stop when the pain got too much…and still, she had to change forms in order to keep Sathe warm when the evening
He raised his head to look at her, eyes still completely black; without the whites. “If that’s what you’re worried about, I won’t…I’ve never had a mate before, this life is way more privileged than the others. But…”Verya knitted her eyebrows curious as to what the vile creature had to say next. “B-But?” “You’re disappointed in me, aren’t you? I could see it in your eyes…you were angry. But why? I did it for you…you shouldn’t be angry…you should be happy.” “Happy that you’re killing innocent people?” “No…happy that I’m doing it to protect you.” He hung his head low. “Ruffle my hair…tell me I did good.” Verya glared at the top of his head, the anxiousness had now melted into nothing, and her fear was now dead. “Are you kidding me right now?” “I’m not…I really did all of this for you…I deserve to be praised. I feel weird, I don’t like the disappointment that I saw in your eyes, I don’t like the anger or the hate. I’ve never had a mate before, so I want to be reassured, I want to co
Her glossy eyes drifted up, meeting the horrendous sight of a creature she didn’t wish to see. Its eyes were black, all the natural whites eradicated and taken over. Its red fur was soaked in blood giving it a stench that made it seem a lot more dangerous than it probably was… It had no humanity in those eyes…it seemed lost, only remembering how to kill and it was doing just that. Every arrow that came at it was proven to be of no good, even when they pierced the creature it didn’t cry out in pain…instead it effortlessly pushed them back out. Did it perhaps get stronger? Was its healing ability almost immediate now? Verya shook her head, it wasn’t the time to assess its strength, she had to stop Jake. Her eyes shifted back down, spotting Jake who had already transformed into his wolf form. He looked tiny when compared to the beast, but in truth, his wolf was just as big as hers. The beast truly was a giant, perhaps that’s why so many different supernatural beings had to join forces
Verya had never been one to look forward to a long walk, and this time it was no different. The fae had said it was close, but this was by far the furthest she’d ever walked on two legs with a destination in mind. She wanted to forfeit, to give it all up, but she had to remind herself that it was all for a good cause. ‘For Sathe…’ She thought, groaning as she took a look at the long way ahead. Why was Sathe doing this to her? No, the real question was ‘why was she doing this to herself?’ Sathe didn’t ask her to hunt him down, she had chosen this path singlehandedly, but it was so f*cking hard to see it through. God dammit! “Are we even close yet?” She was ashamed of herself, the fact that her mate ran away from her had her pride dirt low, and not truly knowing the real reason why made it worst. All she could do was come up with assumptions... He left because he was scared... He left because of her father... He left because he felt self-conscious Or the worst assumption of the
As the fae said, the cave wasn’t far, it was at the very bottom of the mountain, dark and quiet. Jake was the first to step inside and Verya followed him hesitantly, leaving Aron and Ethan behind.Inside was almost beyond her werewolf eyes, she could barely see anything. There were just rocks, rocks and dirt. “You think she’s here?”“I know she is…she’s scared…she wouldn’t come out. I smell her too.”Verya nodded, she smelled something too, the stench of a creature she didn’t really like, but despite that, it was pitiful. It was almost impossible to not sympathize on the current situation, especially since it happened because of her.Sighing, her eyes darted around, spotting a slight movement behind a rock in the corner of the cave. She grabbed Jake’s arm, gesturing towards it. “I-I think she’s here.”Jake stopped, looking towards the rock. “Come out.”A harsh breath dragged on in the silence but there was no further movement. Jake stepped towards the rock, but stepped back when someo
Verya pocketed her hands as she continued into the woods. The sun was rising, and though she didn’t sleep much through the night, her steps were energetic, and her eyes wide open. Jake, Ethan and Aron were walking in front of her…all three were unwanted company, but the more help, the better, right? Sighing, her eyes drifted through the bushes with a sad gleam in them. She missed Sathe…it had been two days of searching now and she couldn’t pick up a trace of him. Would he really not return to her? And did she have the right to look for him when he left willingly? He said he didn’t want to stay anymore, what would she tell him when she found him? That he should come back to a place that he didn’t want to be? What if he refused to listen to her…? What if it all ended with a rejection? Verya was so scared and confused right now, she didn’t know what to do and why this was happening, she was completely lost…but she knew one thing and it was that she wouldn’t let him go without a proper
Sathe looked down at his bloody body with a sick smile on his lips. He didn’t know why, but the fact that the blood on his bare skin was for once not his gave him a sense of superiority. The voice was rumbling in his head, dark and alluring, nothing he was afraid of, and the dead bodies he stepped on as he walked out of a havoc he created pleased him greatly. He felt powerful…like a monster…a beast…but wasn’t that what he was? Sathe’s smile grew even wider, his eyes drifting towards a fae who was pitifully trying to crawl away. Her body was soaked in the blood that fed the earth, her heavy breaths the only thing that dragged on into the night. He walked over to her, pressing his foot into her back. “And where do you think you’re going?” “Please…I beg you…d-don’t kill me.” A chuckle, one with not an ounce of humour drifted up his throat. “Please…? Should I really not kill you? Beg some more and I’ll consider leaving you alive.” “Please…” She turned to stare at him, her face just
