“How are you feeling, love?” I asked Vladimir who was laying in bed with an ice packet on his forehead.

It’s been a month since Maria passed away, a long exhausting month which drained the whole family.

Viktor had come home after the operation and thankfully, Nikolay, Kiara, Richard, Grace, and Sebastian had stayed here. Vladimir Ivanov has been taking care of things back in New York, and according to Nikolay,, things didn’t need his presence so far. Their kids have come to visit here too, and they also went back twice to see them at home. Ivan hasn’t gotten better through the month, his anger, pain, and heartbreak could be seen in his eyes whenever we saw him. The man wouldn’t even leave his office unless dragged out.
