Sabrina’s POV
"We are five minutes away from the Dark Manor," said the guard who rode the chariot. "Good," the Dark Lord said, his voice just a tempo above a whisper. We had been riding for the past one hour and I was yet to utter a word. I'd tried to be a strong girl, hoping to find the slightest chance of escape. But there was none. My hope was shattered. Any form of encouragement I was giving myself was just in vain. The road we traveled was deserted. The deafening silence it bore was more dreadful than a cemetery's. I didn't hear as much the chirp of a bird. The moment the Dark Manor came into view, I lost every hope of escape and gave up on being strong. Tears filled my eyes to the brim and I began to sob heavily. The Dark Lord was quiet and unbothered. Well, I didn't expect sympathy from a beast like him. The carriage stopped and, the next thing I heard the Dark Lord say was, "Step out." His voice wasn't as commanding as Charde's, but my whole being hurried to obey him. It felt like disobedience to his instructions would be followed by my death. He didn't climb down the carriage with me. From where he sat, he gave an order to one of his guards, Lincoln, who was had an average sized body, unlike the other two who had huge muscular builds. "Show her to her room, Lincoln, and get her ready for me before night falls." "Yes, Master," Lincoln bowed. The Dark Lord rode away in the carriage with the other two servants, while I followed Lincoln into the Dark Manor. My wolf had been silent for the past one hour. But she finally spoke when Lincoln stopped at a door. He removed his hood and revealed a pack of white hair which he braided like a lady. I swallowed hard on seeing what he looked like with his hood removed. The Moon goddess had just blessed this man with the beauty of a woman. His lips were pink and glistened like stretched rubber. His nose finely carved and pointed. If he was a stranger I'd just met at a bar, I swear, I'd have fallen in love with him at first sight. "Let me make the rules here clear," he said, waking me up from my fantasy. I took my eyes off his distracting lips and got hands busy with the hem of the dress I wore. "In this manor, I'm only second to the Master. Every instruction I give is merely his instruction coming through me. And just like the Master, there's a lot I won't tolerate from you," he continued, "you're here to be his breeder and, for that to happen, you'll abide by all the rules I give you." The first was that I should always be ready and available for the Master whenever he needed me. Second, I was forbidden from touching him when we were mating. Third, I was forbidden from discussing my affairs with him with the other breeders. "Three simple rules," Lincoln voiced out, "heed to all of them. Once the Master returns tonight, you'll submit yourself to him and he will mark you as his breeder." I swallowed hard and answered him, "yes, sir." "The room to the right is yours. Go in there and wait for the Master to return. If you need anything, knock once on my door. If your knock comes more than once, I will use my whip on you," Lincoln warned, "you shall knock on the Master's door in the same manner." I nodded and headed off right after he went into his own room. Tears filled my eyes as I strode along the corridor. How in the world did I go from being someone who decided what to do with her life to not having a single right anymore? My heart sank when I got to my room. It looked like some ghost had recently packed out of it. There was dust all over the floor, and I couldn't even tell if the walls were white and had been covered in dust or if they were actually painted gray. I went to the drawer and saw some oversized clothes, which smelled like they'd been there for over a year. There were cobwebs at the corners of the wall, under the table and under the bedframe. I found a broom under the bed and began to sweep the whole room. I was so exhausted. My whole body craved lying on a soft bed, but I had to clean the whole room before doing that. That was how I was raised. Two hours later, I was done. I'd transformed the room from a hell hole to a princess' chamber. I sank into the bed, closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep within few seconds. By evening, Lincoln woke me up with a tap. My eyes widened on seeing him seated beside me on the bed. "The Master has returned," he announced, "stand up and strip. I have to prepare you for him tonight." On hearing that, all the weariness in my eyes vanished and I sat up immediately. "Strip? Right here?" "Don't make me repeat myself," he coldly responded, "and do not waste my time. Get on with it." I recalled the warnings he had given me in the afternoon and then I remembered that I had lost all the rights I had to my own life. Tears filled up my eyes and I began to undress before Lincoln. With nothing left on me, I stood before him, battling with the discomfort I felt as his eyes scanned me all over. His gaze fell on my lower region and his face squeezed with disgust. "Why do you have hairs there?" He asked like it was a taboo to keep pubic hairs, "the Master doesn't tolerate filth." He threw a bag of toiletries over to me. "Go into the bathroom and shave that off as you take your bath as well. There'll be a dress on your bed waiting for you by the time you're done," Lincoln said. "Alright, sir," I nodded. He stood up to leave, but stopped when he got to the door. He turned around immediately and called me by my name. "Sabrina!" "Sir!" "Before you proceed, are you a virgin or not?" He asked. I trembled and embarrassment clad me as I fought hard to say that I wasn't one. "Good for you," he said, "the Master would have sent you home if you were." When I rounded up with all the necessary preparations, I headed off to the dark lord's chamber, wearing a blue satin gown with no underwear beneath it, as instructed by Lincoln. I got to the door and knocked once just like I'd been taught, then I waited patiently to get a response from the dark lord. His footsteps began to approach the door and my heart beat sped up. I took a step back when I heard the sound of his palm gripping the doorknob. He pulled it open and my gaze fell on his him masculine build, shirtless, domineering, glaring down hard at me. "Come in," he bellowed and I felt my legs tremble into submission. I'd never felt so intimidated by a man's presence, not even by the previous Alpha of the Gray Mist in all his serious demeanor. I walked into the dark lord's room and the first thing that caught my attention was the absurdly large size of the room. If I wasn't exaggerating, it could fit three of mine. His bed was so big it'd contain two cows comfortably. Think of all the space he'd have to roll around in the night. But I also came to wonder if he never felt lonely sleeping all by himself on that massive bed? Or, perhaps, it was massive so he could fit in multiple breeders at once. "You know why you're here," he assumed. "Yes, Master," I answered. "Then get rid of that garment you have on you," he ordered. I quickly removed the silky gown which I was sure exposed all my curves as it lapped tightly on my body. When he saw me going to the bed to lay on my stomach, he said, "I assume Lincoln must have told you everything." I answered again, "Yes, Master. I have already prayed at the doorstep. I will make it through." With a deep growl, he walked up to me on the bed and seized by arms behind my back. Goosebumps left me the moment I felt his firm grip on my hand. I shuddered, but still stayed surrended. "If you make it through this, and successfully bear me an heir, you won't live such a lowly live again," he said, "already, something about your scent tells me you're the one." I breathed in, trying to calm my nerves. The thought of what was about to come made me uneasy. "Now, stay still," he growled. And with that, he thrusted into me.Charde’s POV I slowly opened my eyes as I felt something cold on my forehead. "He's running temperature again," a feminine voice said, "get me another towel." I slowly opened my eyes to see who it was. My lids felt so heavy and my vision was blurry for a few seconds before I was able to fully open my eyes. "He's awake!" The nurse who stood before me yelled out loud. Marcus, the leader of the guards, came rushing into the room. "Alpha Charde!" He called out the moment our eyes met. I tried to speak, but my lips felt like they were tied down to a heavy stone. That same heaviness weighed my limbs down as I made a vile effort to sit up. "Take it easy, Alpha Charde. You're not strong enough to move just yet," the nurse advised. I turned towards her and, on her palm, she held a tray of three syringes and four bottles of antidote. My lips were forced to open, "don't tell me those things are for me!" Everyone who knew me well was aware that I hated medications so much. I could cons

Sabrina’s POV “You’re so beautiful Sabrina. If the Moon goddess doesn’t give me a mate tonight, then I’ll make you my Luna without looking back,” Charde said as scooped my red hair aside and planted a kiss on the back of my neck, sending instant shivers down my spine. It was the night of his birthday and I had just given him myself, a promise I made him five years ago. Everyone else was at the party, but we had snuck out amidst the cheers and merry that filled the dancefloor. I turned around and gazed into his brown pupils. “How can you be so confident in saying that? The pack. Your father. Who’d let you make a mere omega your mate, especially with your current condition?” I asked. He caught a portion of my hair between his fingers and stroked gently. Inching closer, he whispered into my ears, “I'm the strongest alpha bloodline in our pack. Moreover, my condition is only temporary. And once I become the Alpha, no one can question my decisions.” “I love you, Charde,” I whispered

Two masculine figures stood before me. One held a bucket while the other one stood without nothing. But it didn't take me a second to sniff out Charde's scent. And my eyes welled up with tears as I called out his name. “Charde!” “You don’t need to scream, I’m right here,” he uttered, his voice colder than ice. He inched closer and squatted before me. “What led you into working for our enemies, darling?” He asked, caressing my jaw as he lifted my face, “How much was the bribe? What were you promised?” “Charde, I don’t—” He banged my face on the floor and raised it back up. My eyes went wide, blood trickling down my nose. “Address me as Alp
Charde’s POV The entire Gray Mist pack was gathered before the execution ground, cheering and waiting for the culprit who murdered their former Alpha to show up. Soon, the guards I had sent to the dungeon showed up, dragging Sabrina along with them. The noise from the crowd increased on seeing her. They just couldn't wait for her head to be chopped off and thrown for them to battle for whom to hang it on the stake. I raised my hand and the upstir within the crowd died out. I cleared my throat softly and shouted, "Do I need to introduce this woman to you all?" "No!" The crowd roared. "Then I'm pretty sure everyone here knows her and the crime she has commited," I said. "Yes!" The echoed. "And so, I'll get down to it," I said. My heart boiled with anger as I remembered how she had trapped me in bed with her while my father died in his room. She needed to die! The late Alpha's spirit wouldn't be pleased until she was dead. "Raise your blade!" I yelled at the execution. "On my
