Kayoko pulled his suitcase with a feeling of exasperation. How could her brother break a promise that had already been made? Even more annoying than just breaking a promise was asking Victor Wyatt to pick her up! What crazy thing would Damian make Victor do?

It wasn't that Kayoko hated him, but Victor was the last person she wanted to see. Victor could always get Kayoko annoyed and irritated and end up grumpy all day long because of his antics. He is annoying and very talented at making other people suddenly lose their minds because of his behavior.

When she returned from Germany, Kayoko wanted to do something fun with Damian. It's been a long time since she spent time with her dear brother but what did she get? Ugh!

“Miss Sawyer!”

Kayoko who was grumbling and walking while stomping, turned her head towards the voice that called her. Damn it, Victor was there. Waving with a red handkerchief and writing in very clear capital letters. 'You're home too, Kayoko!

Damn this Victor Wyatt guy.

“Why does your face look like a lioness who just went on a rampage because her prey is gone?” Victor asked without feeling guilty at all. He was still holding the note, not to mention the handkerchief that was still in his hand.

“Do I look happy to be picked up by you?” Kayoko glanced sarcastically at the man beside her. “You don't have much to do? Or did Hillarious lose his apprentice until you had time to be here?”

“It's much better to say thank you than to ask questions I don't want to hear,” Victor casually put his arm around Kayoko. “I'm still as busy as ever, but picking up a girl like you, I can put my busy schedule aside.”

“Out of the way!” Kayoko let go of Victor's embrace. “You better get my stuff!”

Victor laughed. “I'm not a servant who will do as you ask, my dear. I'm picking you up.”

“Where's my asshole brother?” Kayoko growled in annoyance. “He promised me he'd pick me up but where is he? Is he still busy at Caterpillar? I've organized a lot of paperwork to make his job lighter but why can't he make time?”

Victor gently rubbed the top of Kayoko's head. Even though the girl was grumpy, didn't like being around him, but Victor never pushed her away. Especially if Victor had treated her like this. “Don't be angry.” Victor smiled a little. “The reason Damian will say later, I'm sure you'll forgive his mistake today.”

“Smartass!” Kayoko folded her arms across her chest. “I don't easily forgive people who break their promises.”

“I'm just telling the truth, my dear.”

Kayoko glared in disapproval. “Don't call me names like that!”

“But you gave Marcus permission to call you 'my dear'? Why should I be distinguished?” Victor gave Kayoko an incredulous look. “You're not being fair to me, Kayoko!”

“Stop saying such disgusting things!” Kayoko smacked Victor's head without a care in the world, their age gap being quite large. Damian, Victor, and Marcus, they were all the same age. While Kayoko was 6 years below them. But the orange-haired girl only felt reluctant and obedient to Damian. For the other two people, Kayoko considered them as brothers and friends as well as enemies at the same time.

Especially to Victor who was now groaning in pain.

“You're a crazy girl!” cursed Victor without caring that many people were watching them.

“Even if I am crazy,” Kayoko prepared and in one fell swoop, she was already on Victor's back. It made the brunette man almost lose his balance. “Come on, we have to get out of here quickly. I want to see Damian right away.”

“Get off my back!”

“No way!” Kayoko laughed with delight. She hugged Victor tightly and moved her legs. “Let's go!”

“Get off!” Victor ordered but could do nothing but keep his balance and Kayoko's body from falling off. This girl was really too much but unfortunately, Victor couldn't just scold her.

“I'm tired. You know, Germany to Northderm took a long time on the plane. My legs are cramping,” Kayoko complained.

“What made you cramp up? You're on a VIP class plane,” grumbled Victor who finally gave up on asking Kayoko to get off his back. “Hold on properly. Don't strangle me.”

“Okay.” Kayoko chose to lean comfortably on Victor's shoulder. “Oh, I forgot to ask you something.”

“Just ask.” Victor walked casually as if he was not carrying a 50kg girl. Not to mention he was dragging the girl's large suitcase in his hands.

“How's my mom? Is she still as chatty as ever?”

Victor laughed. “Don't you have anything else to ask about your mom?”

“I don't know. I'm sure she's in good health, secure in her life, and doing whatever she likes with ease. It's just that I'd like her to be a little less chatty. You know, it's dizzying listening to her talk.”

Victor laughed again.

“Ah, what about Damian's wife?”

“It's fine, nothing special happened to her,” Victor replies simply.

“Should I go see her?”

Victor slows his pace a little as he heads towards the lobby. “I think you're better off seeing someone else than Damian's wife. I guarantee you won't regret it.”

“Who is that person?” asked Kayoko with great curiosity. Never had Victor mentioned anyone outside of the Sawyer family.

“The one who made my brother cancel today's appointment, Kayoko.”

Miya woke up feeling better than ever. Sunlight was streaming in through the gaps in the curtains covering the window. Miya began to realize that this was not her room. All her memories came together and made her squeal in disbelief.

“I'm pregnant!”

“Is that what you said after waking up?” asked Damian who had just come out from the other room. Her hair was still half wet which she dried with a towel. “Good morning, Baby Girl,” she said with a big smile.

“Good morning,” she replies with an embarrassed look on her face. No, she wasn't. It's not embarrassment, but rather what makes her look down like that. Damian's upper body wasn't covered by anything and looked tantalizing to hug or just rub against. But... ugh, why would Miya have such crazy thoughts in the morning?

Wait. Is it still morning or...

“What time is it?” asked Miya as she looked around.

“Eleven o'clock,” Damian replied casually. “I've asked the head chef to prepare lunch, after which we'll go to the hospital to check on your condition. Or should we do it at home?” asked Damian who was now sitting on the edge of the bed. His hand reached out and rubbed Miya's flushed cheeks. “Why is your face red? Are you sick? What are you feeling? Is there something uncomfortable? Tell me, dear.”

“Nothing,” Miya replied immediately. It was the most honest thing she could say at the moment. There was no way she would say something embarrassing like that, right? Especially with their relationship only being established through contracts, pregnancies, and whatnot. Without love of course.

There was no way Damian would fall in love with a girl like Miya. Her overconfident self had fallen deep into Damian's charm. But what could be done? Damian was too hard to get rid of. Miya's little brain couldn't think of anything other than enjoying this and taking good care of what Damian wanted.

If there was ever a day when everything was over, at least... Miya had things to keep her busy. Forgetting about Damian through the enormous amount of work and plans she had to think of immediately in order to get rid of her love for Damian. For now, Miya chooses to be the stupidest woman in the world.

Accepting all Damian's treatment and giving birth to a child for him safely.

“Then, prepare yourself to eat. Or do you want to eat in your room?”

“No,” Miya replied immediately. “I want a cozy enough atmosphere and I think the dining room is the perfect place.” Miya smiled slightly, trying not to worry Damian.

“Okay then.”

Not long after, they were ready to head to the dining room. Desi told Damian that the head chef had prepared a meat soup for Miya. Since she didn't like milk, it was replaced with something more acceptable to her.

When they arrived at the dining room, Damian frowned and looked at the people at the table with mounting annoyance. “What are you guys doing here?”

Kayoko ran up and lunged at Damian unceremoniously, jumping into Damian's arms shamelessly. That made Damian growl in annoyance. “Don't do dangerous things like this, Kayoko.”

Kayoko just grinned widely. “Don't you want to invite this boyfriend of yours to eat together?”

Damian glanced sarcastically at Kayoko. “Watch your language.” He immediately put Kayoko down with ease. “Greet my little wife nicely. Her name is Miya and I hope you don't act up, Kayoko.”

Kayoko scowled, Marcus and Victor giggled, while Miya couldn't believe what Damian was saying.
