Too small world, too big dreams

-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+----+-+-+-+-------++-+-+--

The world has seen different parameters every year. From an artist's eye to a thief's eye but still, the human race is in denial situation.

The wind is flowing in all directions, marking its presence all over the world, and I am just a shred of it.

I stood up, spread my hands and felt the air on my face, the way it was tangling my hair in all directions as I belong solely to this world and there is no one to watch me, to hear my silence, to hear my laughter and to nourish my soul.

"Sit down, " Aman was glaring at me with concern.

But at this moment I am in infinity, I don't know how to stop and look ahead. What we are is never going to change, what we were is here in this moment to feel. Maybe we will create history, maybe we will lose everything in the end but the process is significant enough to live.

"Tell me why we are here?" I heard my voice.

"To change the world!" I heard their commanding voice.

"And how we are going to do that?"

I glanced at the roads of Delhi, the way they were screaming my name as they want to tell me a story. recite a story to my ears

"we will scream!"

"scream for what?"

"scream to enjoy the freedom, scream to let everyone know who we are!"

and I stared at her, at those wistful eyes, to know the dreams she had, to know the infinity she is living in. after all, we all are stuck in infinity.

her brown orbs were more concentrated when I stared at her, as she is creating another world in her eyes.

"and what are we going to scream about?" I was reluctant to know what was in her mind, what was she assuming. the prudent smirk on her face was guiding me to run away from here but I am not that fragile to understand anything. after all, writers are made to create history then why not I?

Aman started driving the car a little more furiously. I saw flying on the roads of the heart of Delhi. the city lights, the greenery, the fresh evident air with no noise as the whole world is sleeping, I closed my eyes, felt the fresh air in my heart, hold the courage to look upon once again the enormous bleeding sky; the sky which has seen everything from its eyes, the devastating autumn, to the joyous spring, to the burning summer, to the most frigid winter, and yet it is still here in all condition consuming everything as it the beginning of infinity.

I closed my eyes, hold my breath and presume all the possible scenarios of my life making this surrounding a vigilant to me.

"I, Jessica Mehra, am going to create  history with the power of my words!"

"I, Sanaya Grover, am going to change the  music industry  with my voice!"

"I, Aman Khanna, am going to play till the death of my life!"

our eyes were closed, our hearts were beating fast and the air around us was in sync moving in the same thread.

when I opened them I found India gate right ahead of me, thrilling me with compassion and at that moment I realised what freedom was in actual syllables when I saw birds flying peacefully with their wings.

the speed changed again, the wind became more prudent now, making me shudder in its power and my throat went dry.

my hair started flying in all directions, it must have started, I remember the precautions of weather when the air become dirtier.

an extravagant sound made me more worried about my thoughts and then after a major sound break I realised we are stuck. the car was not in any condition to start again.

I punched Aman's shoulder in an attempt to make him do anything to solve the issue,  but I think it was not enough I have to give him my deadly stares.

"What?" he whined when his face went red.

"Now what are we going to do?

"don't worry, I will do something, after all, I am the only sane person in my family," the smirk was too much depicting her eyes, but I only wanted to shove him off!

we always get in trouble due to his irresponsible behaviour. he took out his cellphone and dialled a number, after two minutes of conversing he placed it into his jean pocket. for

"We have to wait!"

"wait for?"

he narrowed his eyes, his burrows were tensed and jolted in confusion so was his mind," we have to wait for one hour,"

is he out of his mind? we are hundreds of kilometres away from our home in this quiet place where I am freezing from the cold. the air suddenly turned into a cold one, the sky was ready to burst into anger anytime soon too.

I jumped in horror when heard a thunderstorm, it started raining, the fresh cold droplet when fall on my fingertips as it was calling my name to whisper something to the sky.

"what now? we cannot just stand here and do nothing." Sanaya was mad too in her grief, she doesn't like when it rains.

"I have an idea, lets go to the nearby pub,"

what? and what we are going to do in that pub?

"have you lost your mind, Aman? you know I don't appreciate noises!"

"oh! it's just for one hour and Sanaya don't you want to feel the music in your blood?" her eyes went wide and a grin appeared on her face in the name of music.

she almost pleaded with her puppy eyes, so I decided to slip my mind just for an hour. truth to be told I don't want to move from here, I want to feel the rain, how it melts itself with soil, I want to attain why it converts itself from everything to nothing, I want to know its reasons for falling when it could rise easily with power, I want to know the reasons of its vulnerability, but above all, I can't see sanaya sobbing in front of my eyes.

"Okay fine. let's go'' I muttered.

***

it was almost dark, the area was covered with blue, green, red lights, and the music was too high, maybe I am going to be insane today, maybe I will lose myself in these drowning colourless lights.

still, I was focused on walking straight because I do not want to be noticed in this disastrous place, I kept my head on and walked straight until I felt someone's presence over me and in a second, a girl in a short red dress appeared right in front of my eyes.

her eyes were peanut size, her cheeks were flushed as she have been drinking, her plump full lips were covered in red lipstick and her eyes were decorated with glitters as she was a joker.

she had a glass in her hand and a few drops on her dress.

oops! I was walking straight while observing everything with my poem eyes. it's her mistake, she was too engrossed in throwing herself that she forgot she had a full glass in her hand.

"Are you blind?" her thin voice made the scene funnier. her dress was too tight according to her figure, I mean- everything was visible in her body.

she must have not noticed it, I need to inform her so that she can rectify her clothes.

but before anything, I have to give her a curt reply.

"no, my eyes are gracefully working in a right manner, so you must have been mistaken,"

she glared at me one more time and roamed her eyes from head to toe," who are you by the way?" I didn't realise her manner of speaking, she was sounding devasting while considering herself proud.

"Jessica Mehra," my eyes were gazing at her stare.

"so Jessica, does nobody tell you, you look like a whack in this pub,-

what?

"-If anybody doesn't explain you your identity, before then I must tell darling, you need to consider yourself a table cloth-

what do you mean?

- you need to hide  before anyone lands their eyes on you because if they did, they will lose their comfort and sleep"

before I could do anything or understand anything, she started walking away. however, I am Jessica Mehra, I am not going to cry in a room while regretting my existence on this earth will give that woman her taste of medicine.

so before she fade away from my vision, I quickened my speed and stopped her.

"dear I can hide if I want but what will you do to your poor soul?"

"What?" she frowned, her eyebrows raised in confusion, so was his mind.

"your soul is dirtier than your body darling,"  I saw her turning red from anger, but before she could do anything her cell phone started ringing and in that time I slipped away in an attempt to find myself a comfortable space.

still, my eyes were on her, she was the only girl with a frown on her forehead.

she went to where two or three men were engrossed in talking to each other, then she adjusted her hair and put a wide grin on her face.

she extended her arm and tapped on a man's shoulder who was in a black coat.

the man appears similar, oh it was the same man who insulted me today, the great Abhimaan Kapoor.
