Chapter 4

 The next morning Manik open his eyes and saw Nandini is not there, he get up and saw Nandini is not there. He gets up and entered the washroom after taking the towel. He come outside and shouted: "Nandini ....Nandini, where are my clothes ?".Nandini turns off the gas, rushed to the bedroom, and saw her husband who is looking smoking hot in the towel. He is looking so attractive, water droplets are falling from his hair. Manik smirked seeing her staring at him, he walks to her and pull her toward him, and said: "Wifey, if you want I will not go to work and we will spend the whole day on the bed ".A blush came on her face, she push him and said: "Manik stop teasing me and I don't understand why you always called me to pick your clothes when I always put them on the bed, don't you have eyes ".She pick his clothes from the bed when he hugs her from the back and said: "Because I like when you do my works and scold me ".She smile, she thought because Manik is an orphan he likes it when she cares for him. She left to the kitchen with a smile.

Manik look at the clothes in his hand, he really likes when Nandini does his work or scolds him like a mother because his own parents never paid attention to him and he likes it when Nandini's whole attention will be on him. He changed his clothes when Nandini shouted his name. He left to the garage after patting her cheeks and kissing her forehead. This is the ritual for them, as Manik knows Nandini's father always did that when he left for the job and he also started doing this to make Nandini feel good and it's become a ritual to them.

It was nine o clock, Nandini was waiting for Manik, she was waiting for him for dinner. After half an hour he stepped inside the house. He looked tired, but as soon as he saw her he smile and said: "Nandini, I told you, you shouldn't have wait for me".Nandini interrupt him and said: "And I have told you many times, I like to wait for you ".He sighed as he knows there is no gain arguing with her, so he went to the bedroom to change the clothes. While Nandini reheated the food on the gas and start placing plates on the dining table.

He emerged from the washroom and said: "Something smells great ", Nandini smile and start serving him. He smile broadly when he saw his favorite chole chawal (rice ) on the plate, he said excitedly: "wow,chole chawal . Thank you Nandini ".Then they start eating food when Cabir and Navya enter the home, Cabir teases them: "Hope we did not disturb you both ".Nandini blush while Manik glare at him, then Nandini offered them to eat with them which they accepted happily.

Then Cabir said: "Manik, I want to talk to you ".Manik nods. Cabir cleared his throat and said: "Manik, my father had left some property for me in the village. I am thinking to sell the property and if you remember one day you had told me one idea to buy old cars and give them for rent as a taxi. I like his idea very much and I think it's very profitable".Manik nod and said: "Yes, it's very profitable and I will help you ".

Cabir make a serious face and said: "I don't want your help ".Manik get shocked at his reaction and look at Nandini who is also shocked, then they heard Cabir and Navya laugh.

Cabir said holding his stomach: "O my God, look at your faces, I am just joking . I want to say I don't want your help because I want you to become my partner ".Both Manik and Nandini get surprised listening to him.
