LIAM

I hear the front door open downstairs and slowly start to wake up from my dream. There's a warm soft body curled up in my arms and everything that happened last night comes back to me. Delilah is still here lying in my arms, head nuzzled between my chest and my neck. Then I remember that someone is in my house.

"Liam, are you up honey? We're home early, I thought I could make you breakfast. Oh my." My mom opens my door, which I didn't think I needed to lock, since no one else was supposed to be home this week.

I pull the blanket up over Delilah as she wakes up looking confused and embarrassed. My mom being the nosy person that she is, decides to come in instead of closing the door like any normal mortified parent would.

"Liam, I thought we talked about this. Just because you're in a band doesn't mean you need to be a man whore. I thought you were going to straighten up. Who's this with you? What about Delilah? I thought you were going to try to make things work with her?"

DELILAHThree days later and I find myself in the departure terminal at Charleston International Airport, getting ready to go through security with my dad. The guys are here somewhere but we decided it'd be best if we didn't arrive together, to avoid any unnecessary articles showing up on the gossip columns today. Although Shelly says that any press is good press, I'm still not ready to admit my relationship status to myself, let alone the world. Liam has been quite persistent on the topic lately. I don't see what the problem is though, we are together in everything except labeling it, so really to quote his mom, "it's just semantics." I don't see the need to go messing with something that's working fine just as it is already. I know it's frustrating for him, but our not having the label that he wants is kind of his fault in the first place.I follow my dad through the security queue and pick up my backpack. We have a test next week and I am going to make the boys study a bit while we

DELILAHWe're exiting the airport, hand in hand when the cameras begin flashing. I knew this was coming but even still it can be unnerving. The reporters begin yelling for our attention and then one of them notices the ring. "Delilah, is that an engagement ring on your finger?" "Liam, when's the big day?" "Will you stop for a picture?"I just look at Liam and smile. He's also smiling from ear to ear when he slips into the vehicle next to me. "How long before our phones start dinging?" I ask him. He laughs, "hmm maybe fifteen minutes, if we're lucky." He says chuckling. "I bet we don't even get to the hotel." Tyler adds just as the notifications begin. I glance at the posts on my phone, "Wedding Bells in the air? Football Princess spotted with engagement ring.""I'm still the best man right?" Ty questions while gently punching Liam in the shoulder. "Of course man. Somebody has to listen to me whine while I wait for Delilah to show up at the altar." We pull up to the hotel and I

LIAM The next morning, I woke up beside my beautiful wife who was still sleeping soundly. We both decided to turn our phones off completely last night, already knowing there would no doubt be tons of leaked photos and articles about us today, but those won't matter anymore. Not really anyway. Delilah is officially mine now and I am hers forever. There's a soft knock at the door and I pry myself from my bride, throwing on a pair of sweatpants to see who it is. Room service is outside with hot plates of eggs and bacon, and bowls of fresh fruit and oatmeal. I thank the hotel staff and take the tray inside to wake up Dels with breakfast in bed. It's a little later than I expected, which doesn't leave much time before her photo shoot today. I climb back onto the bed and nuzzle her awake. "Dels, they dropped off our breakfast. We need to eat and get going soon so you won't miss your photo shoot." She grunts, rolling onto her back and leaving me with a very tempting view. She still loves t

LIAM We just arrived at the hottest club in Vegas. Tonight we're celebrating out on the town with our friends again. The last two days seem surreal as I lead my new wife into the flashing lights and thumping music. I spot Tyler in the VIP section and wrap my arm around Dels, leading her that way. She looks like a goddess tonight, her dark hair cascading over her bare shoulders. She's wearing this strapless gold number that hugs her curves perfectly, which makes me want to hug her curves even more than I already do. People are watching us more than they usually do. I'm sure it has to do with our faces being plastered all over the internet today. I hold her a bit closer. Most of the articles were predictable, "Liam Anderson's Secret Wedding with Bikini Model Delilah Jones." A few however, posted speculations of a rushed wedding, claiming it was necessary because Lilah was pregnant and had somehow trapped me and that it'd never last. I know those articles frustrated her, but time will

DELILAHMy head is pounding and my mouth and throat are parched. I try to move my arm to rub my temple, but I'm unable to lift my limbs. I open my eyes and see a room that I don't recognize. I look around and notice Tessa is in the bed next to me, but her arms are also restrained behind her back attached to the headboard as well. The room is dark, but I don't think I see anyone else in here. "Tess." I hiss in her direction. "Tess. Wake up." She opens her eyes looking around frantically just as confused as I am. "What happened? Where are we?" She whispers back at me while we try to fight the restraints."I have no idea. The last thing I remember is dancing with you and that girl Julie bumped into you spilling your drink all over us. We went to the bathroom to clean it up and then I can't remember anything else." I explain, looking around. "I see our phones on the counter. We need to try to get our hands free." I look over at Tessa's hands. "They used zip ties. We just need to keep wig

LIAMGetting into the SUV without Lilah was easily one of the hardest things I've ever done in my life. I had promised her dad that I'd always protect her, and her being kidnapped while I'm only 15 feet away, makes me feel like I failed them both. Thank God they were able to save themselves. Tess let it slip to Ty that she and Dels had been taking boxing and self defense lessons since Delilah's mom passed away. Apparently, my tiny wife knows how to defend herself. Our opening performance at the game went on without a hitch. Delilah was waiting for me in the dressing room when the show was over just as she promised she would be. We barely wait for the game to end before heading straight to the airport. We had originally planned on staying another night in Vegas, but after everything that's happened we are both ready to get home. The media frenzy surrounding her kidnapping has been insane. Thankfully, Andrew had a press conference and answered as many questions as possible so hopefully

  • Coming Home to You   TWENTY TWO

DELILAHWe officially have been living in our new house for six weeks. Liam has been super hands on with helping pick out everything we need to start our life together. We finally have furniture, which is exciting since we slept on a pallet for two weeks straight. We made the best of it though, with late night pillow fights, and building a fort out of sheets like we used to do when we were kids. When we aren't spending our time getting busy in every room of our new home, we are finishing up our senior year online. It's been difficult to get Liam to concentrate on his studies if I'm in the room, so I've been getting most of my work done on our balcony overlooking the ocean while he works in the office. I can't complain. I leave tomorrow for London with Tessa. She has been helping as my personal assistant since my modeling career has been skyrocketing. We've been darting off across the country nearly every weekend for different gigs and runway shows. This London show is for fashion wee

LIAMWe've been in Tokyo for three days now. Of course Dels has called at least once a day to video chat, but I still miss her like crazy. I'm not sure how I managed to go on tour without her last year. I realize now that I didn't manage well. I drowned myself in alcohol and women I cared nothing for. I'm done with all of that now though. I'm not sure how I managed to get her back, but I'm not messing it up this time around. We just finished another sold out concert and will travel overnight to the next stadium on the Asian tour. Dozens of fans were lined up outside the bus just as expected, hoping to catch one of the guys' eyes tonight. Luke and Noah brought this raven haired girl and her three friends on board with them. I eye him and shake my head miffed. "What are you doing? You better keep them away from me. I swear Luke. I am not ending up on any tabloids tomorrow. Dels will kill me." Or leave me forever, I think to myself. That would be even worse. "Relax Liam. It's not lik

DELILAH I’m not sure of the exact moment that I realized I wanted Liam Anderson to be mine forever. It could have been on the beach when we would collect shells and build castles when I was 6. I remember thinking that his smile reminded me of sunshine and I couldn’t control the butterflies when he would unleash it on me.Or it could’ve been the times we snuck out in fifth grade to catch lightning bugs in jars or when we’d sneak some of moms freshly baked cookies before dinner. It could’ve been any of the numerous times he had my back if the other kids at school teased me. It could’ve been the time in middle school when we held hands or when he saved me from having to do 7 minutes in heaven with Gavin in 7th grade. Liam has always been such a large part of my life. Staring at him up on stage now, I try to think of what my life would be like in ten years if Liam wasn’t in it. A tear slips down my cheek as I realize that’s not the life that I want. The guys have just finished playing th

LIAM "Are you two officially back together?" A reporter chirps shoving her recorder in our faces after we just finished filming a segment for the live show. I look at Delilah, wondering what she's thinking as I reply, "We're still working things out." Dels frowns at my response as the reporter steps in closer. "That's too bad. So who will you be kissing at midnight then?" She asks winking at me and stepping in closer. "I'm free." She mentions, raising a brow at Dels. I'm not sure if that comment was meant for me or Delilah at this point, but I'm not taking any chances. I take Delilah's hand and thread my fingers with hers before quickly responding. "I can say with certainty that if I'm not kissing this amazing girl at midnight, I most definitely will not be kissing anyone else." I look hopefully into those honey brown eyes that I love so much to see if she feels the same way. "I don't know," she teases coyly, but her eyes are telling me that she agrees with me completely. DELILAH I haven't heard from Liam at all today, which is strange considering he was all over me last night. I've been replaying last nights events in my mind and I don't remember anything happening that would have made him upset with me. It's New Years Eve and we are supposed to be hosting a party together in a few hours. I'm hoping it won't be awkward but at this point I'm pretty annoyed that he hasn't even attempted to talk to me or even sent me a text after sneaking out of my room early this morning. He must have changed his mind. After spending an hour with hair and makeup Tessa and I are all dolled up and ready for tonight's shenanigans. The event is being held on top of a fancy hotel in Time's Square. The place is decked out in gold trimmed everything, looking extremely extravagant and festive. When we arrive the guys are already testing out their microphones and chatting with the camera crew. Liam notices me first nodding in my direction, but makes no attempt to talk to me. T

DELILAH A knock on the door wakes me from my drunken slumber. I roll over and notice that Liam's not in the bed anymore and all of his belongings are gone. Strange. I could have swore he stayed the night. Why would he sneak out in the middle of the night without saying bye? Did I do something to upset him? I climb out of bed and make my way to the door cracking it open to see who is knocking."Hey Tessa. Why are you waking me up so early?" I grumble. "It's not early Lilah. It's almost noon. You need to shower and get ready to host the New Years Eve party." She smiles at me, before glancing around the room in confusion. "Is Liam not here? I thought you two made up last night." "I guess he didn't come back with me last night. I'm not sure, things are a bit hazy." "Huh, well anyway you need to get showered and then we can grab some brunch before we head over to the party." I nod and head to the bathroom to get ready. Maybe a hot shower will help me remember last nights events a bit b

DELILAHWe sat at the bar for hours tossing back shots and drinking together before I finally got the nerve to ask him on our way to my room. "Was that little stunt you pulled tonight completely necessary?" I cock my eyebrow and pucker my lips as I wait to hear him explain his actions earlier. "I wasn't running off.""I'm sorry babe. You weren't where you said you'd be and I saw you by the exit and I don't know. I just panicked." His words slurring a bit as he runs his hand through his hair and then takes my hand in his and squeezes. "I thought you were taking off and I reacted before thinking. I'm sorry."I shake my head at him playfully. "You owe me big time, calling me out in front of all those fans and celebrities." I continue walking down the lit corridor until we arrive at my room. I turn toward him to see him awkwardly standing with his hands in his pockets, unsure of his next move. Smiling I reach for my room key in my bag and take it out to tap it against the lock. "Well, thi

LIAM The huge rush that I get when I walk out onto the stage for a show never gets old. My adrenaline is pumping when I look out into the crowd and it's only heightened when I feel her brown eyes on me from the side of the stage. I turn my head raking my eyes over her one last time before I have to divert my attention to the crowd of people screaming our names in front of me. I'll have her screaming my name later. Damn, she looks so good tonight, I could eat her. There is actually nothing that I'd rather do at the moment. I feel myself getting more excited than I need to be in front of all these people and give her a wink before forcing myself to pull my eyes off her. "Hey New York! Are you ready to party? How about we play you some tunes?" My questions are immediately answered with cheers, whistling, and camera flashes as I put the microphone back into the stand and swing my guitar around to begin playing. "Alright then. My boys are a bit hungover from last night, so let's show the

DELILAH Before I realize it, Liam has me pinned between his hard body and the bar. His lips just inches away from mine. "What if I don't want you to kiss me?" I ask coyly glancing from his hazel eyes back to his soft lips. I so want him to kiss me right now. My heart is pounding in my chest and I wonder if he can tell just how badly I want it.Liam's breath hitches as he leans in, "Dels," he whispers, his voice husky. My knees feel shaky and I'm pretty sure that if it weren't for the bar behind me, I'd be a puddle of mush on the floor by now. His lips barely graze mine and as I lean in to close the distance he pulls back, his eyes full of mischief. My jaw drops and I stare at him in disbelief. I can barely form a coherent sentence. "Wha... Why did you pull away?" I manage to mutter as he eyes me amused."You said you didn't want me to kiss you. I was just following orders." He places his hands on my hips, his fingers caressing the exposed part of my back where my dress dips down low.

LIAM"Are you sure she's coming tonight?" I ask Ty for the hundredth time impatiently tapping my foot on the tile floor. He nods, a sympathetic smile on his face. "Tessa said they'd be here. You know how they are. They are probably still getting ready. You should have a drink and relax. You're not doing yourself any favors getting all wound up like this."I roll my eyes at him, "Easy for you to say. You're not the one in love with someone who's constantly running away from you. I need some kind of tracking device for her." I joke and Ty raises his brows at me questioningly. "I'm not sure that joke would go over well." He states glancing around the room. These celebrity parties are always well attended and tonight is no different. Dozens of actors, musicians, and celebrities mingling together to bring in the New Year. "Don't look now, but they just walked in." He whispers his eyes motioning behind me. Of course I do exactly what he says not to do and my eyes instantly lock with her go

DELILAH "Are you sure you don't want to go to the Stones shoot today?" Tessa asks me hesitantly for the fifth time in an hour. "Of course I'm sure. That would be so incredibly awkward. We both know what kind of questions they would ask and we both know what kind of photos they are after. I can't even manage to send him a text to apologize. There's no way I'd make it through the interview." I explain again. Tessa frowns, "You should just talk to him Lilah. You're both suffering and you don't have to be. You know he will forgive you.""You don't understand." She keeps pressuring me to try to talk to him, but I was such a bitch that night. I didn't even give him a chance to explain. He's better off without me. I'm sure he's found someone to distract himself with by now anyway. I check my phone again and there's a message from my dad, but still no word from him. He must be over my bullshit. He hasn't even tried to call or text me since the party on Christmas Eve. I can't really blame
