Peron's POV

After the threat she left me, and I struggled to find my way back to the car.

All of a sudden, the stillness was shattered by a sudden gunshot, the crack echoing through the darkness. Pain seared through my leg, and a cry escaped my lips.

I crumpled to the ground, clutching my leg as waves of agony surged through me. The scent of blood mingled with the damp earth, and my desperate shouts for help pierced the silence.

Fumbling with pain, I reached for my phone, my trembling hands struggling to dial the emergency number. Each second felt like an eternity as I pleaded for an ambulance to come to the cliffside, where chaos and secrets collided in the shadows.
