Peron's POV

Hearing Isabelle answer my parents that her parents are dead made me growl silently and to make it worse, I received a text from her saying Isabelle lied and her parents were actually alive and they weren't even rogues.

“She lied to us?” My wolf asked and I unknowingly zoned off, the only sound filling my ears being my breathing sounds.

“Remember she said she had an accident and didn't know. Maybe it's true and this is my chance to keep her by my side!” I beamed.

“If we can prove to you that Isabelle comes from a reputable family and pack, will you cancel the arranged marriage with Kira's family?” I asked my father and mother through mind-link and they both stopped eating and looked at me somehow. “I'll take your silence as a yes,” I said to them and wiped my mouth with the handkerchief then motioned to Isabelle who was clearly uncomfortable and I felt bad for bringing her here. “Let's go, love," I said, making sure the 'love' part was very audible for my parents to hear.
