Episode 3
When had it started? The undying love and affection she felt towards the cruel cold man like Ricky Anderson. Audrey wished she could turn back the hands of time, if she could, she would hate him instead.
She looked into his hazel eyes, still falling for him despite herself, then nodded. "Fine. Until I return every dime, I will continue staying here, but not as your wife, but as an housemate."
Ricky released his hold on her waist, his eyes on her face. Why did she have to look so pretty even when annoyed? He forced his eyes from her face, and turned, walking towards the window. He stood there for a while, staring out into the rising darkness, hands in his pockets.
"If that's what you want to be to me, I've got no complains." He replied, his back turned against her.
Audrey bit her lips, wondering if she was being too forward. She shook her head, and brushed away her feelings as soon as she recalled how insignificant she'd been to Ricky. She was going to be having a baby. She needed to be happy, and her mental health mattered alot.
"Your...guest...I guess she's waiting. I don't want her barging into here." She said after a few minutes silence.
Ricky turned then, flashed his hazel eyes at her. He took his gaze to the portraits on the wall, taking in the pictures. It was the wedding pictures, and they reminded Ricky of how gorgeously beautiful his fake bride had been.
Her bright skin was as clear as the sun, and her blue green eyes were filled with sparkles as though she was a real bride. She'd been extremely excited, and he'd thought she was being too dramatic.
"You've always been dramatic. You just hide it too well." Ricky suddenly said to Audrey as he returned his gaze on her.
Audrey stared at him in silence, and all she could think of was how possible it would be to stop loving Ricky Anderson. He didn't deserve her. He never did.
"Let's talk more calmly over dinner, shall we? Well, if Claire is the problem, she's leaving in an hour. Get that?" Without waiting for a possible reply, he turned and walked out of the room.Audrey stared after the door, inhaled deeply and brought her weight down at the edge of the bed. She brushed strands of hair from her eyes and picked her phone up from the nightstand. She needed to talk to someone, and who better than Xavier McStuffins?
************
"You won't leave me standing here to answer some stupid calls, Xavier! And who's it again this time? Oh of course I know it's her...that stupid Audrey, is it?" Diana yelled in rage, walking briskly towards the young man in his pyjamas.
He whistled nonchalantly, scooped up his phone from the bookshelf and smiled on seeing the caller ID displaying the name, Most Beautiful. As he connected the line, he reached out a arm, grabbed Diana into his embrace, keeping her locked in his strong arms even as she struggled against him. "Holla, Audy." Xavier called excitedly, and chuckled.
Audy. It was what he always called her ever since they were little, and he continued to call her that even after they became grownups. "What's wrong? You sound dull. Wanna talk?"
"Xavier, I'm talking to you!" Diana kept on yelling amidst the phone conversation. Xavier fused his lips on hers, momentarily silencing her. She struggled even more, but ended up deeper in his arms.
"Okay. I will be waiting just outside the gate by 9. See ya." He cut the line, tossed the phone on the bed, and encircled the woman with his arms. "Stop this, babe."
Diana finally broke free, moving away from the muscular man. "It's her! How come you always seem to pay more attention to Audrey than to me? I don't get it!" She cried as she leaned on the window seal, scooping her hair backwards.
Xavier chuckled, and shook his head. He settled his gaze on his girlfriend, an amused look on his face. She was an attractive woman, almost as tall as he was, and really sensitive. Except for the jealousy over Audrey and her temper, Diana was a perfect woman, and he was considering making her his wife.
"She's my sister, babe. Come on."
"Oh yes, tell me what I don't know. Just yesterday, you were so worried sick about her just because she didn't pick few of your calls! You barely looked at me, Xavier." Diana fumed. She suddenly moved into motion, and started to walk out of the room.
Chuckling inwardly, Xavier rushed after her.

Monday morning, Ricky Anderson stormed through the elevators, his steps hitting hard on the solid floor, ignoring all greetings on his way to his office.
Vivienne Westwood, his acting PA, an Italian young lady rushed after him, almost bumping into the glass door. She adjusted her eyeglasses, walked carefully into the spacious office, and walked to the desk. "Boss..."
"What do you want so early in the morning? This is not the time." Ricky snapped, not taking his eyes off the files on his desk.
"Huh...we finally have someone who meets up with the requirements of being your PA, boss." Vivienne announced, hoping that would capture his attention. It did.
Ricky looked up. He took off his dark brown expensive suit, hung it around his armchair, and sat before sparing Vivienne a glance. "Who's she?"
"Although we have other applicants, but this woman's CV is..."
"That's a very long answer, Miss Westwood."
Vivienne clamped her mouth shut, repositioning. "Okay sir. Would you like to come to the interview room? Or would you rather I send her..."
"Have her come in here for a brief assessment. Please, check to make sure she's harmless."
"Of course sir." Vivienne replied, moved back a few inches before turning and disappearing.
Ricky took in a deep breath, and sank deeper into his chair. He stopped to check what bothering him, and hissed out through his clenched teeth. His discussion with Audrey the night before hadn't gone well.It still shocked him how she could suddenly want to break free from him. He'd always thought he was her lifeguard.
There was a gentle knock on the door, dragging him out of his thoughts.
Ricky glanced at the door, readjusted to his professionalism, and asked whoever it was to come in. The door swung open, and a young woman walked into the office with dashing red heels.
Ricky glanced up, nostrils flaring at the familia scent. He stared at the woman who just walked in and a stunning, dazzling look appeared on his face.
In front of him, looking dazzling and extremely dashing was Audrey.
"Audrey?" Ricky called and slowly, he stood up on his feet.
Audrey's smile broadened. "Yes. That's me." Came her reply.
Episode 4"That's me." She replied again, clutching a file against her chest. Still shocked, Ricky looked from Audrey's hair down to her feet as he could not resist the temptation of looking. She wore a red armless low neckline top, and a black jacket with matching black straight pants. Her hair was neatly pack up, and some strands were left flying across her face. Ricky got hold of himself, realizing he was beginning to stare longer than necessary. He cleared his throat, and dismissed any expression that could betray him. "Audrey. I don't know...what you're doing here." "May I sit?" She asked, pointing at one of the four chairs surrounding the large desk. "Sure." Ricky replied, pointed to a seat directly opposite him. "Thanks." Audrey mumbled. She came forward, put her bag down and sat down. She placed the file in her hand on the desk, pushed it towards Ricky. "Will...you check?" Ricky stared at the file, his brows raised. "What are you doing?" "Trying to get employed." Audrey
Episode 56:15pmRicky grabbed the second bottle of whiskey off the counter. He staggered slightly from the bar to the spacious living room and sank into one of the three seaters. He unscrewed the cap from the bottle, took it to his lips and gulped down a large quantity of the liquor down his throat. He wasn't so drunk, but he was far from being sober. Why does the thought of Audrey being with another man so tormenting and infuriating? The image of her getting into that car, and hugging the driver played in his vision, and he gulped down more liquor. No. Audrey didn't get him this worked up. He was only stressed with now the day had played, and angry since she was still married to him. He heard the sounds of keys giggling outside the main entrance, and turned just in time to see Audrey walking into the house. She saw her throw her keys into the bag, turned and latched the door. "Where have you been?" Ricky threw the question at her as soon as she walked into the living room. Audr
066:30 am. The next morning came bright and clear with the sun scorching up in the sky, but it was a little bit cold as well. Audrey scuttled around in her bedroom, rummaging through her closet for an outfit befitting her first day at work.. She finally settled for her straight creamy below the knee gown which had a thin belt around the waist, and a low neckline that would surely showcase a little bit of her cleavage. She'd worn it once to a friend's birthday party, and the admiration she got from the outfit inspired her to pull it out from the rack. She placed it on the bed, turned to look into the mirror, and shook out her hair from the black band, reached for her hair oil, and applied it smoothly on her almost silky brown hair. She brushed it till it shone and dangled effortlessly around her shoulders. She put on her gown, found matching heels and a shoulder bag in her closet. Audrey returned to the mirror after she was done dressing and smiled with satisfaction. "Now,
07 "Look who we have here!" Claire squeaked, her eyes dilating with shock. "You work here too? My goodness..." "Claire." It was Ricky's stern voice, with a note of warning detected in it. Claire slowly sealed her lips, rolled her eyes at Audrey and walked towards Ricky. Together, they walked into the office. Audrey balled her hands into tight fists as she glared at the door. Slowly, she let out a deep breath, placed her hands on her belly. "Let's calm down, dear. This isn't good for us." She mumbled under her breath. She lifted her head, and just then, the main door opened again, and a young man stepped into that office. He wore a black suit with white tie hanging perfectly from his collar, his wavy black hair fell smoothly over his back. His well chiseled jawline sat perfectly on hie face, and from where he stood, Audrey could tell he had deep brown set of eyes. He seemed the perfect gentle man at first sight, and Audrey couldn't keep the admiration off her eyes. "Go
08Ricky drove madly into the compound. With the speed of lightening, he got down from the car, dashed into the house that stood gigantically between other two mansions. The compound was large. While the other two houses belonged to his parents, the third one was rented out to another family which had become their tenant. The sound of breaking glasses filled Ricky's ears as he ran into the house, rushed up the stairs to his mother's room. Angie was on the floor, bawling. She grabbed something from the nightstand, flung it towards him. Ricky dodged, and rushed towards her. "Rafael, you're here!" Margarita cried, coming out from where she hid in the closet. "She has been like this all morning.""Mom!" Rafael scolded as he got to his mother and knelt in front of her. "That's enough!"Angie's hands froze in front of her as she stared up at her son with bloodshot eyes. Her young face was ruined as her mascara stains ran down her checks with her tears. Her long blonde hair was a mess,
9"What would you like to eat? I'm pretty sure you have a different favourite food now." Xavier chuckled as they settled down at a table close to the window. He passed Audrey a napkin, staring intently at her smiling pretty eyes. "Not really. But what I do know is that my cravings for hot sauce has greatly increased." Audrey replied with an eye roll. "Sometimes, I wake up wishing I could have it delivered to my bed with some really garnished steak." Audrey chuckled, and picked up the menu with her fingers.Xavier looked seriously at her, and breathed. If only she knew how he was dying to be able to do that for her. If only she knew. "Are you okay, Xavier?" Audrey asked as she caught the seriousness in his eyes. "I just wished I could be able to do that for you, you know." Audrey frowned playfully at him. "Do you want Diana to hate me more than she already does? She's gonna haunt me for the rest of my life." She chuckled lightly. Xavier sighed deeply. He looked up by chance, s
Episode 1"Congratulations, ma'am You're two weeks pregnant." The pretty Chinese doctor announced, beaming with smiles, her chubby cheeks becoming more round. Audrey McStuffins stared at the woman behind the desk, stunned. Pregnant? She hadn't known. And she was about divorcing her billionaire husband, Ricky Anderson, the only heir to the Anderson group. How could she not, when she'd loved him for seven years without any reciprocation from him? She'd foolishly drooled over him, let herself be pushed around, and even went as far as signing a secret contract marriage just for him to honor his grandfather's dying wish. "Ma'am?" The doctor called, and the latter snapped out of her thoughts. She smiled, reached her hands down the surface of her flat belly, and rubbed gently. Her eyes moistening, she smiled. "I have a little Audrey in here?" The doctor smiled, handed over a white piece of paper. "Yes. I recommend you sign up for checkups."Early pregnancy can be a bit stressful. I empl
Episode 2Ricky skidded off the bed, turned briefly to look at the woman on the bed. "Will be right back." He walked in long strides towards Audrey, grabbed her wrist, and said to her, "Now, you come with me!" He zoomed out of the room, dragging her with him even though she struggled with him. Downstairs, he finally let go of her wrist, spun around to glare at her. "What was that for?"Audrey sniffed, staring into Ricky's eyes with obvious pain. "For seven years, Ricky. Seven good years, I've loved you like a fool. I allowed you to push me around, use me like you wanted, but no, I'm not going to go on like this, Ricky. No." Audrey shook her head, allowing her chestnut curly hair cascade around her neck.Ricky watched her, shocked at her outburst. He couldn't believe Audrey could talk this loud and quick.
