She spent the night sitting up, contemplating her plan. It felt safe running after the wedding. Her coherent thoughts never left her. She didn't carry anything with her. Her gaze didn't move from the horizon waiting for the sun to rise. She could feel the coming danger, in the gnawing pit, in her chest in the emptiness in her heart. She was determined not to shed a tear. But the thought of staying away from her family and under the fear that he would catch her at any time and would haul her back into his hell. He didn't try to talk, try anything to frighten her, the dangerous aura around him always kept her alert and sent a warning to go far away from him. Tears had hovered many times in her eyes, the burning sensation did not leave her. "I can't believe, our sister's husband is a hoodlum." Alberto murmured under his breath. "Don't say it out there. You're not a kid, Alberto. Don't make me tell you everything. We're not different from him." He said. "I wanted a businessman for her," Alberto said. "He's a businessman too. Don't forget. Our enemy would target her first. Her husband should be powerful. He is. He can protect her." Orlando said. "Who will protect her from him?" Alberto contorted his face in disbelief. He hated Xander for kidnapping his sister, and for attacking his home when his wife was pregnant and they were alone at home. "I'll protect her." Orlando's tone turned stern. "She's trained. Keep it in your mind." He reminded her. His heart melted seeing her sad face. "My kiddo," Alberto kissed her head. She aimed to get rid of Xander. The decision was made by Xander and her father, the eldest brother. Her steps flattered when she sigh

Anger coursed through him. His hand shot to the gun in his waistband. He put the gun on his forehead. His gaze remained on his wife as she fell back against the couch head. "Sleeping pill." Orlando picked her up, not bothered by the pointed gun at him. His gaze was hard on him. "Don't..." His mouth tightened. "I'll kill you if you... " Xander cut him off. "You'd be dead now if you weren't her brother." He seethed, running his hand through his hair, his knuckles turned white grasping the gun tight. "Sara will stay with her in the room." Alberto said, walking into the room. "You both. Are f***** crazy!" He snarled again. "She's my wife." "Listen up!" Alberto was on his face in a blink. "She has gone through depression before. This situation was close to that. Particularly, your barbarism, ruthlessness." His eyes narrowed on him wanting him to explain. "Nothing is for you to know." Orlando snapped,

She opened her eyes in confusion. After batting her lashes several times, she recalled what he did. Her lips tightened, and her gaze turned angry. She drifted her gaze to the other side of the seat. He was still sitting calmly, his one leg was resting over his thigh. His look was one of the lethal kings who was resting. "How dare you..." Her words were cut off when the driver pulled over the limousine. His hands shot forward and he grasped his hands around her upper arms. Her eyes widened, seeing him reacting agilely. She saw a glimpse of worry and it vanished when he evilly smiled. "See, it was easy. You didn't try to run." He said with a smug smile. "Stay in your limits…" She clamped her mouth shut before completing, she realized that she had crossed the line. He would never endure such s*** from anyone nor from his wife too. His cheerful features turned cold, his lips fattened as he glared at her. He drew his face an inch

His expressions were intense. Icy gaze sharp on a particular person, though the person wasn't important to him. His hands were joined in front of him, looking at him for his pity, standing in the gargantuan hall. There was a wooden table and chairs. He didn't offer him a seat, just glared at him. His hand was resting on his thigh as he was leaning back, and his other hand was resting on the table, and callous fingers were drumming against the hardwood, making the situation worse for the old man. He wasn't an innocent one. "I'm here to take my son." He said in his pleading voice. "Ricco," His voice boomed in the hall, "You must be here to make me pay." He laughed darkly. "I'm here for my son. Let him go..." He cut him off, shaking his head. His jaw tightened as he smelled his cunningness. He motioned with his index finger. Justice nodded his head and he looked at his oath-brothers. He looked so handsome. She wasn't certain to express her feelings to him. But she wrote something on the paper for him. "There's no danger." She told him, smiling. Though, Ricco was still on the run. She believed her husband and brothers wouldn't sit calmly until they found him, or locked him up in the dungeon. The corners of his lips pulled up. He kissed the side of her temple. Tears were falling down her face. "I am but some things still scared me." Her chin trembled. Orlando swiped his fingers on her cheeks. "You mean. Your husband?" He offered her a soft smile. "Mom and Dad?" She asked, gulping. It was nagging her. He curled his arm around her shoulder and made her walk toward the door. "Give them some time. They're gonna be alright. I'm worried about you, pumpkin." He looked down at her. "You just said it, right now that I'm the strongest one. I'll be fine." She smiled at him, but she stumbled to a halt seeing ahead of them. She asked, sitting next to her on the mattress. More tears welled out. She nodded her head, looking away. Her faze rested on the family picture. It was clicked after three months when they rescued her. She was so happy to have them all. She sat there, gazing at the picture. "You bought me that dress. You remember, Mom?" She asked. A soft smile crawled on her face recalling those days. Happy days! "Yes, your father went with me to shop for you. He never showed. He is happy to have you in the family." Her eyes were red when the door opened, making her heart thud in trepidation. Her lips parted in astonishment seeing a beautiful brunette walking in, draped in only two pieces. Her top was barely hiding anything. A black collar was fastened around her delicate neck. She swallowed hard recalling his words. "¡Hola, Reina!" Her voice was filled with excitement as she had found the Niles River after walking for days. She closed the door behind her. The paper bag swung in her hand as she whirled to face her. She smiled broadly at her. She walked over to the mattress with ease in her pencil-high heels. She winched when the woman pounced on her side, looking at her as if she was made of expensive and delicate glass. "You're beautiful, very beautiful." Her smile dropped after a full minute of staring at her. Her eyes narrowed at her but she kept her question to herself. The woman seemed lunatic to her. "Untie me." She whispered to her.
