Allen’s house
Sally: My mansion is better than this. Keeping Elliot here is way disrespectful than at my house.
Lazar: Can we not debate over whether your house or hers is better?
Sally rolled her eyes and slapping her heels to the floor, she went to the bedroom. Allen was still speaking with the doctor while Elliot lay unconscious beside.
Celia: How’s he holding?
Allen: Oh… he’s been injected to rest well. I’ll go and get the medications till then.
She walked out with the doctor leaving three of them behind. Celia sat beside unconscious Elliot. She checked his temperature and then slightly massaged his hands.
Lazar: He will be okay Celia, don’t worry.
Sally: If that idiot hadn’t messed!
Celia closed her eyes and rested her head on the bed while holding his hands.
Sally: I think we should walk out…?
Lazar: Yeah
He glimpsed with sadness and walked out with S
Elliot: This is strange. She would never betray me. Max: Sometimes the closest one betrays you. Celia: We need to pull our socks up. Max laughed at this. Max: Pull up our socks? Celia remembered of what Max was signalling. Celia: Shut your mouth! Max: No, pull up your socks. She chased him like a dog chasing a cat. Indeed watching this wasn’t pleasant for Elliot. He had never seen Celia being gleeful around any guy except this one. Elliot: Cut it. We need to do something. You’ve got a plan? I’m running out of plans. Celia: Marry her that’s the only thing I see. If you marry her, Henry would get instigated and this will help us to trap him. As far as Allen is concerned, leave her to me and Max. Max: Is she beautiful? Celia: I’m not turning you in for dating her. Elliot: Are you comfortable with me marrying Sally? Celia: Why won’t I be? You’ve loved her since your school day
That exact night, Elliot barged into Celia’s house. He was heavily drunk and calling out for Celia. She fell asleep in her room, without any pillow below her head and blanket around her body. In the living room Max: You are disturbing the neighbours! Elliot: Where is she? Elliot lost his balance and fell on the sofa. Elliot: Tell her to come out. Max: She won’t be coming. Elliot: Why won’t she come?! Call her out…. Max: She is not here. Elliot: Where did she go? Max: She went to her sister’s house. He glared his eyes at him. Elliot: Are you speaking the truth? Max: She’s not here, can’t you understand once said. He lifted him by his arm and pushed him out of the house. Max: Don’t ever come back again. Elliot kept banging the door but Max stayed in his stead. Celia was sleeping soundly. She felt the cool
Hansen’s MansionMr. Hansen: What have you done Elliot?!!!!Slap!Mr. Hansen: Didn’t I tell you before? Don’t complicate things. Are you some king to have so many brides?!Elliot had his eyes on floor. He didn’t utter anything and glimpsed at Celia. He had tears in his eyes.Mr. Hansen: Come to my room, this moment. He followed his raged father to his room.In the roomMr. Hansen: Will you speak now?Elliot busted out in tears. His wailings and sobs got heavier. He fell to the floor in a kneeling position.Elliot: I don’t know what to do. My brain just couldn’t think anything. Dad, why isn’t my heart ready to leave Celia? I just like her not love.Mr. Hansen: If you like her then why are your feelings becoming an obstacle? You already love her but you keep denying. He looked up in his
Celia: Ughhhhh….. That man is rushing in my head. If I don’t give consent, does it mean he’ll have it forcefully! I’ll have to find a way…Knock! Knock!Opening the door, she saw Sally standing with the servings.Celia: Why did you bother?Sally: I wouldn’t have if Elliot wouldn’t have asked me.She kept it on the corner table and sat on the bed.Sally: How’s it going with our hubby?Celia: Do you know how ridiculous it sounds? She smirked with a smile.Sally: Don’t worry. My contract is going to end but Allen can act as a hindrance thereafter… You should be concentrated on that.Combing her hair, Celia replied.Celia: How’s everything with Henry?Sally: What about him?Celia: You’re pregnant. He deserves the right to nurture the baby. She laughed out loud.Sall
He waived his hands in front of her face.Celia: Don’t distract me. Step aside.Elliot kept his hands on waist in disappointment.Elliot: Whom are you cooking this for?Celia was unhindered. Concentrated on the dish, she plated the servings with the side dishes and pour in the beverage. Smilingly, she pushed the stroller, heading towards the cafeteria.Max was fidgeting with the flower vase kept ahead.Celia: Here’s it.His mouth watered and the smell tempted him to dig in immediately.Max: Bon Appétit!Elliot: Wait, who are you?Lazar: He is the new face of our magazine. He laughed out hard.Elliot: New face? You…. Are you really the new face?Max: What? Lightning struck you?The staff laughed at his smirking.Elliot: Celia, in my cabin, right now!Celia: I can’t. The guest needs me now.Elliot: I’m the CEO!
Elliot was fixed in stare with his father.Elliot: You said one last question and asked so many instead…His father stepped closer and whispered.Mr. Hansen: You know what the truth is? You’ve liked domination. As far as people nod yes to your yes, you consider them and when they revolt, your aggression hits you…. Isn’t it?His father walked past him. His words stabbed Elliot’s ego. A sudden chill and goosebump was felt by him. He banged his hand to the wall and gritted his teeth with clenched fists. On the other handAllen: Hi!!!!Max turned around in irritation.Max: What do you want?Allen: You remembered me?!He rolled his eyes and bent towards her. Pushing the strands of her hair behind the ears, he continued.Max: Do you like me?She declined by nodding.Max: Ah?Allen: Can I get a hug?He covered
Mr. Hansen: What do you mean? I can’t see any ring on his finger.Celia: Because that is supposed to be kept confidential. He raised an eyebrow in confusion.Mr. Hansen: A…n…d why is that, may I know? She bit her lip and opened up in honesty.Celia: Can we talk about this in your room?Mr. Hansen: Sure. They walked up to the room and crossed paths with Elliot.Elliot was half awake with his nightwear still put on.Elliot: Can you make me something that can reduce my headache?Mr. Hansen: Why are you ordering her?Elliot: Cause she’s my wife.Mr. Hansen: Don’t do it, Celia.Elliot: One second, why?Mr. Hansen: Look at her and then you talk.Elliot saw red marks left on her revealing skin.Celia covered her shoulders with her hair and walked into the room.Elliot exclaimed to himself, “Fair enough!”He w
Elliot and Sally were budgeting out their finances for beginning the biggest business ever; having all the estate agents, chefs, marketers, editors, engineers, lawyers, doctors, story editors and writers for magazines; financers, sponsors and other supporting staffs. Both families had good financial status and well established companies for getting the above fulfilled for their future son-in-law and daughter-in-law. After a good number of years, finally their wish had come true. Their skills turned them into the most powerful dictators and the finest ones in terms of entrepreneurship. It was years ago talk where their parents were triggered for having a poor strategy and presentation in business but today you see maximum newly graduated youths getting employed in the ‘Hansen Industry’. It was a proud moment for everyone collaborating and initiating; blending to the concepts that kept transforming and the level of energy required was extreme. The nights and days put up, the r
