Chapter 102: Two weeks later: Monroe

Holding Angel's hand, they walked across the vast property of their home. Monroe was feeling better, but still tired easily. His physical reserves had been depleted by the time he flew to Mexico for Uday. But, there was no way he was giving the terrorist another shot at his family. Now, he paid the price with a longer convalescence.

Swinging his arm, very un-Monroe-like, he smiled at how easy it was to touch this special woman and accept her returned caress. He still felt the need to control the contact, but he didn't shy away. The three of them hadn't repeated the scene from the bedroom two weeks previously, but Monroe was ready. His biggest fear was that Zachery had changed his mind. Zachery's discreet touches and carnal looks were fleeting and Zachery hadn't given an overt signal that the next step was imminent.

Monroe stopped walking and pulled Angel close, loving her soft, compelling smile.

"I want you and Zachery in the studio tomorrow. I have a new design I wish to work."
