Chapter 105: Zachery

Angel didn't protest when he placed her on the play bed and strapped her to the mattress. He arranged her face up, propped against pillows so she could see. If what was about to happen had a chance of working, she needed to understand what it entailed.

"Don't be afraid." He kissed her forehead.

Zach had thought about this moment many times-how it would play out and at what point he could truly submit. He knew Monroe was trying to make this easier, but Monroe actually made it harder when he gave Zach time to think. Both men were violent by nature. They sheltered that side of themselves from Angel, but it was a key element to who they were.

Zach waited for Monroe.

The door made a soft click after Monroe entered. Zach stalked slowly forward. Monroe stopped, but Zach kept walking. When Zach was close enough, he powerfully shoved Monroe's chest, pushing him back into the wall.

"You want it like that?" Monroe's voice grew deadly-a tone he was very good at.
