I don’t know why I got as pissed at Gabe as I did. I should have known he didn’t mean what he said last night. If he never opened his damn mouth, things would be different right now. I would still be in bed with him. I was up for trying to date, and I thought he was too, but now I wonder if this is still all a game to him? When did I even start liking him like this? I know I liked him a lot because if I didn’t, what happened at his wouldn’t be getting to me as much right now.
I need a shower, coffee, and more sleep. The cab arrived at my place. I paid him and rushed inside. I stripped down and went straight for the shower. I switched it on and stepped into it. I rested my back on the wall and closed my eyes in the hope that the shower would wash my worries away. I ran my fingers through my hair over my face.
