2024-10-29 19:42:56Bella left the room when she heard the door open; she walked in on tiptoe and peeked; she discovered him changing into slippers and carrying bags of groceries.
"Why did he buy so many groceries? Didn't he see that the refrigerator was completely full?” She was studying him with interest from afar because she saw that he was looking in the direction she was hiding.
“Why are you hiding there?” “Come and put them in the kitchen,” he commands, and she shows up and walks over to him to grab the goods he purchased.
“Why did you buy so many of these? Our fridge is full,” she laments.
“It's because... I don't want you to go hungry,” he softly answered while handing her the plastic bags of goods and smiling at her before leaving her without even waiting for his response.
