Jasmine's pov

Ma Gloria gulped the water, flushing the drug hanging in her throat.

"I told you, those meds are so bitter" she whined.

She grimaced in a funny way and I laughed at her childishness.

"Ma, you're just exaggerating" I said.

She leaned back on her chair, and signaled me to turn on the AC.. which I did, she closed her eyes.

The nurse from earlier, came back in and carried the tray of food and drugs.

"It's a good thing you're here, Jasmine, we wouldn't have been able to convince her to take her drugs" she said.

"Don't worry, Vera, I'll be coming around now and she won't be able to skip her meds now" I said.
