I turned to her with a frown, "It makes me look bigger.

Alessia exhaled her frustrations into her palms, and, looking at me, she sang my fear again, "You can't keep hiding your pregnancy, Lily. You're gone past that stage, and that gown is perfect."

Scowling at her, my hands unconsciously flew to my bump, and realizing what I just did, my scowl was turned to myself.

I never believed I would get this obsessed with a situation I wanted to get rid of, a situation I felt was a misfortune, for when I thought I was free of Adler, this little guy was kicking.
