chapter 74/75 - reminiscing and present day

"What's going on?" I screamed as I ran into the kitchen with a fire extinguisher I hijacked from the wall.

I was more than ready to attack the intruder but upon entering the kitchen, I realised that the windows were closed and nothing asides from the plate rank was out of place.

Maybe it was a ghost then.

"A cockroach, there's a cockroach I'm the house," she continued screaming as tears were streaming down her face.

"Where?" I shouted as her sudden announcement shook my settling composure.

"There, it's beside the pink glass cup," she was literally crying on top of her voice as she she pointed towards the counter.

I walked towards it and found the pea sized cockroach. It was dead and didn't look like it had lived more than a day.

"It's so tiny though," I observed, "but it's dead," I looked at her with confusion.

Her actions seemed exaggerated,but I knew better than to tell that to an emotional woman.

"Okay okay, I'll take it out, you'll feel better then, right?"
