TRIVIAS POV.
Tension and fear washed through me while I remained seated, my fingers stuck in my teeth as I chewed on my fingertips nervously. I clutched hard to the ends of the sofa, worried at what my fate was to be.
I looked down again at my lap and then trailed my hands across my neck. The bruises were not fully healed and were terribly sore, and without doubt I knew the chances of getting beaten were high once again.
Worry thugged at my heart as it pounded hard against my chest. I fondled the envelope as I retraced the letter in my head.
„SERUM PREGNANCY TEST, NEGATIVE.“
The door pushed open on cue, and my heart sank in my chest. How time had passed. Goosebumps crept over my skin as I wondered how I became scared of someone whom I once had butterflies for. The feelings were lost, from love to fear.
„How was your day, honey?“ I called out hastily and panicked. I hesitated for a bit and proceeded to take the bag in his hands.
„Oh, get off me, you hypocrite.“ He yelled angrily. Just then, I realized the look of disgust on his face as he stared down at me. Bitterness etched down my throat as I tried to control my fear.
„I got a call from the doctor.“ My heart picked up its pace—perhaps it was better; he heard himself rather than me saying the words.
„The results?“ He asked, although he probably knew what the response was already.
“Negative Embry, but I promise next time.“ He held up his palm against my face as sweat trickled down from my forehead, folded the hems of his shirt, and placed his briefcase down.
“come here!" He ordered, and a mist of tears formed in my eyes as I tried hard to have them held in. It was about to be a disaster. I spent all day praying to the moon goddess that some sort of miracle happened, but I was wrong. For all it was worth, he remained a monster.
„Closer," he added. My feet were shaky with each step I took, and soon I was merely a few inches away from him.
"Now tell me, what have I not done for you?” His voice was low, cold, and menacing. I grew bitter with each passing second. It was down to my ruins; I could not help it.
“Nothing,” I responded. I knew they were lies. Maybe if he had asked me this very question five years ago, my response might have been different, but not anymore. He got worse with each passing day.
“Good, now why the fuck is it so hard to bear me an heir?” That was the most of it. I fought hard, having my tears held in, but I knew I had made a ghastly mistake as they slid off my cheeks.
“You get to cry now?” He asked, dangerously close to me. I predicted it but had not expected it to come so soon. With a strike to my cheeks, I hurled my palms at my face as the downpour of tears followed.
"Embry, please; I'm no longer healing." I pleaded with him, our eyes matched, and I saw no humanity left in his. He looked nothing better than a monster as he grabbed me by the throat and drew me closer. I wept continually, and slight coughs escaped my throats as I felt the air closing in on me.
“You are nothing but a useless, weak, barren omega, and I would never have fallen in love with a nobody like you, and now I can see clearly, whatever jinx you had on me is gone, you bloody ingrate.” He threw me over to the floor, and I crashed with a heavy impact. My sides shook from pain. I knew my not fully healed bones had broken again. I sucked in air hungrily, knowing my life had slipped right before my very eyes.
“Useless, I say! I am the Alpha and I need an heir; one thing trivia, one bloody thing, and you can't even do it right for fucks sake,” he yelled again. It had become his favourite hobby whenever he was with me, and his ability to speak in a calm tone magically disappeared.
I gathered myself from the floor and tried to stand, yet after many failed attempts, he watched my despair, rooted to a spot with an irritated look on his face.
“We can try again; just one more chance, please..." I promise I'll get pregnant. I pleaded with him, and I clutched to my sides as I finally got the chance to stand to my full length.
“one more? You'll get pregnant? You disgust me with trivia, and you must be insane if you think I'll ever fuck you, even as little as once, you worthless brat.”
The anger in his tone was evident, and so was the angry glare that he passed at me. He moved towards me, closing all spaces.
“Pack your things, trivia. Head down to the second floor; you'll be staying there henceforth.” I trembled as I listened to his words; they pierced through me like arrows shot into my heart. Ireached towards him with shaky hands as I gathered myself and moved towards him.
“No, no… Please, I'll do better. I promise, just once more, Embry, I love you. Please don't send me away." I pleaded once more; I could not help it anymore; the pain became unbearable.
“I'm only sending you down to the second floor; what's with the whole ruckus? Besides, it's not like you are useful other than being a bed warmer; all I wanted from you was a child, a young alpha, and you can't do it right. I'll head on to the bathroom now; pack your bags.” He threw my hands off him and pushed me towards the floor as he headed towards the bathroom.
“Don't let me meet you here.“ He added in and shut the door. Tears slid from my eyes as I got to my feet, and my whole life shattered right before my eyes. I knew I needed to heed his words. I stuck at my stuff, packing it into my bags hastily, knowing if he met me there, every bone in my body would be broken from being beaten.
I didn't understand how we got there, and I hated to admit the fact that it all started when I could not bring forth an heir. Years passed. Embry became a monster, one who beat me at any chance he got, and yes, I still loved him.
TRIVIAS POV.The door flung open suddenly, sending jolts of electricity down my spine.“You filthy whore!.”Embry's raging voice called out on cue as he stormed into the room, grabbed me by the neck, and threw me against the floor. “What's this about?” I asked, parting my lips slowly as I dared not glance up into his eyes.“I would have known better than to get married to a lowly servant like you, useless to the core! And now you are sleeping around? So you bloody think I'm a fool?” He asked again, his gaze bloodshot as he bent to my level, yanked at my hair, and grabbed at it with full force.“You are dead to me from this instant; I do not ever want to see you or hear anything about you.”“I did nothing, I swear.” I pleaded, tears falling from my eyes as I listened to him rage on.“I saw you, my two bloody eyes, walking out of Stephan's room today, and I came after you, but here you are still laying against the floor, acting all pretentious!” He yelled again; it seemed more surreal
TRIVIA'S POV.My body shook while I stood to my feets, the door pushed open right on cue, and Erebus made his way into the room. He glanced around and saw the situation. The first thing he had done was whisk Isabella into his grasps. He pressed his lips against hers, both lost in their own world while mine got broken at every minute. I couldn't bear the pain anymore; it was fucking tearing me apart.“How dare you both?!” I yelled at the top of my voice, anger seeping into me. I saw them both happily kissing, while Erebus placed his palms on Sheila's belly and a smile settled in on his face. I knew at the moment that love was nothing but a scam. A weakness. It was all a waste—my years of putting the things I loved together, all through bearing the pain and pushing forth in a toxic marriage. All of it was a bloody waste.“Keep your voice down; you will harm the baby,” Erebus asserted. I saw Sheila, beaming with smiles even after she ruined my life—a sly fox she had been, a cunning wo
TRIVIA's POV.“princess?” I asked aloud, and then it dawned on me that they might have been mistaken.. I glanced slowly around, but nothing struck my familiarity. Before getting a chance to talk, a pair of strange domineering yet drop--dead gorgeous green orbs bore into mine.I remained stiff in bed, strangely attracted to the pair of green eyes that drew closer to me. . I said nothing, and neither did he bother to say a thing.. I felt his eyes scan my body. Head to toe while I melted beneath his gaze."Finally,"Finally, you are awake, my love.” He blurted out, and a frown was quick to etch to my lips.. I parted my lips as if to make complaints but I ended up smiling meekly for no reason at all.“Mate!” Fionna helped blurt put through my lips, fighting hard to take control.. I tried locking her off the mind link to no avail, my always gloomy and weak wolf suddenly became energetic“He's ours! Mine! Mine! Mate!” She rang through my ears, yet those words repeatedly eased off my lips.
TRIVIA'S POV.My fingers were against my laps, buried down towards my cunt as I laid my back to rest in the tub. My right fingers twitched against my nipples continuously while I rubbed on my cunt, matching my pace, Breath hitched and my moans increased. Light gasps eased through my lips as I plunged my fingers into my drenched warm and inviting pussy . I arched my back up as the pleasure washed through me. Signs eased through my lips, but I couldn't help the pure ecstasy that I felt.“Fuck. ..'' I moaned again, throwing up my back while I felt myself get close to climax.“Your highness?” A knock came on the door. I was quick to pull out my finger and rest my back against the tub once again. A sigh eased its way through! My lips swelled while Helen, my maid , walked into the room, and I ran my finger into my hair, feeling really frustrated. It's been a week of torture.I want to know what my next manner of approach will be, but I knew my parents were never really home. JEREMY’s POV.The smile on my face spread from ear to ear as I ran my tongue over my lower lips while I stared at her.Something about her manner of speech earlier with Trivia had trickled into my fantasy; she turned me on merely by words. I knew she was fierce and nasty, but the description she made awakened the inner demon right within me as I painted out vivid images of them in my head while she spoke.“I was teasing, that's all.” She responded, her eyes running down from my hair towards my feet, and she poked her tongue hard against her cheeks in a seductive manner before batting her eyelashes at me."Well, I'd rather teach you now to never tease me like that, your highness” ” I added in. She looked somewhat sexy, or was it just all in my head?I pulled closer to her and drew closer towards her earlobe.“I'm hard for you. I know you can see it.” I whispered into her ears before nibbling on her earlobe slightly. I felt soft tingles as she wrapped her arms around me and then pushed
SEX WITH A MASKED STRANGER, YOU AREN'T JEREMYTrivia's POV.It's been two weeks since I've been reborn. I have to admit I wasn't sure what the moon goddess had in mind but I was as good as stuck, although Helen tried the best she could to make my life… memorable yet it remained the same. The only spice I had in my life was Jeremy, he fucked good and didn't question w thing. Most times we went on walks, fucked in the woods, most times in my room, most times we went out fo riding lessons.. He had been teaching me the perks of being a horse rider. I got so used to cars, I had no royal training of my own, but each time I ended up riding him.“Good night Helen…and remember your parents and fiancé returns tomorrow.” Hearing that bit of her words my belly churned, she was indeed right, zed was meant to return home tomorrow and it didn't sit right with me Swallowing hard I took to my feet's, my belly ached with each step I took while I bolted the door locked from behind, I had to admit u ha
TRIVIA'S POV.His deep green orbs bore into mine, the devilish grin still on his face. He had the same body frame as that of Jeremy, but mostly I had been fooled by those eyes of his, which almost seemed to bore deeper into my soul. I curled my toes as if the entire trouble and pain reeled into my mind, and my heart hammered in my chest.“Do I know you?” I asked, bolting to my feet, but a knock settled onto the door, and my heart hammered in my chest.“Trivia!” I heard the voice call out to me; it was Zed.“That will be my cue to leave; you've got a nice body. It works well to meet again. He added in, and I stared blankly as he wiggled back into his clothes while swallowing.“Why would I go? You tricked me! ”I snapped, confused about what to do.“I didn't trick you; perhaps we'll meet again someday.” He said while the knock resounded again, and I knew I really needed to tend to sleep.“I'll force this door open," Zed had threatened while the tricky man snuck right out the window.I
EREBUS’S POVThe room was quiet, except for the faint scratch of pen on paper and the occasional crackle of the fire. I leaned back in my chair, rubbing a hand over my face as I stared at the endless reports spread across the table. Running a pack was hard enough, but merging three packs and the Lycans’ territory into one? It felt impossible some days. But I didn’t regret it. Not for a second. Our decision to merge the packs had been a bold one, but it was the right one. Together, we were stronger, safer, and better equipped to protect our family. I glanced out the window, the sprawling landscape of our territory bathed in the soft light of the afternoon sun. This was home now. And at the heart of it was Trivia. The thought of her brought a faint smile to my lips, even as exhaustion tugged at me. She was the reason we worked so hard, the reason we pushed ourselves to the brink every day. “Still working?” Zed’s voice broke through my thoughts. I turned to see him lean
TRIVIA’S POVThe ocean stretched endlessly before us, its waves sparkling like a sea of diamonds under the golden afternoon sun. The air was warm but carried a light breeze that smelled of salt and freedom. Everything about this place felt surreal—perfect in a way I’d only ever imagined. We were staying in a secluded villa perched on the edge of a cliff, its large windows and open layout making it feel like the sea was part of the house itself. The honeymoon had been Zed’s idea, though Erebus had insisted on finding a place as breathtaking as this. Embry, true to his nature, had made sure every detail was flawlessly planned. “Relax, Trivia,” Erebus said, lounging on the oversized outdoor daybed as he sipped a glass of wine. He was shirtless, his toned chest glistening in the sun, and his green eyes sparkled with mischief. “You’re making us nervous with all that pacing.” “I’m not pacing,” I said, pausing mid-step. “You are,” Zed chimed in, his golden eyes crinkling with amuseme
TRIVIA’S POVThe morning sun streamed through the windows, bathing the room in a soft, golden glow. The air hummed with a mixture of excitement and nerves as I stood before the mirror, adjusting the delicate lace on my dress. It was beautiful—soft ivory with floral embroidery that cascaded down the skirt like a meadow in bloom. The dress wasn’t flashy, but it was me. And today was ours. A knock at the door broke through my thoughts. “Come in,” I called, my voice trembling slightly. The door creaked open, and Erebus stepped inside, his usual smirk replaced with something softer. He was dressed in a dark green suit that complemented his eyes, his hair styled in a way that made him look almost regal. “Wow,” he said, his voice low as he took me in. “You look... perfect.” My cheeks warmed, and I turned back to the mirror, fussing with a loose strand of hair. “I don’t know about perfect. My hands won’t stop shaking.” He crossed the room in two strides, gently taking my hands in
ZED’S POVThe grass beneath us was cool, opposite to the heat still radiating from our bodies after the fight. The silence between the three of us felt less like an absence and more like an understanding. There was a weight to it—a shared acknowledgment of everything that had brought us here. But then Erebus broke it, as he always did, his smirk returning full force. “We stink.” Embry shot him a look, his lips twitching as if suppressing a smile. “You stink. The rest of us are fine.” “Speak for yourself,” I said, running a hand through my hair. Sweat clung to my skin, the fight leaving me sticky and in desperate need of a shower. Erebus stretched lazily, his grin widening. “Well, if we’re all in agreement, let’s do something about it.” He was on his feet in a second, offering a hand to pull me up. I took it, and Embry followed without a word. The cool night air bit at my skin as we made our way back to the house, our bare feet quiet against the earth. Inside, the silence o
TRIVIA POVThe dining room felt lit by the soft glow of candlelight that bounced off the polished wood table. The four of us sat together, plates of food spread out before us. It was rare to have such a quiet evening, just us, no pack business, no outside worries. I cherished these moments more than I could ever express. Erebus was on my right, lazily twirling his fork through a pile of roasted vegetables, his sharp eyes scanning the room like he was still expecting trouble to walk through the door. Across from me, Embry leaned back in his chair, sipping from a glass of red wine, his stoic expression softened by the faintest hint of a smile. Zed, to my left, was the only one eating with real enthusiasm, his plate already half empty as he reached for a second helping. “This is nice,” I said softly, breaking the comfortable silence. Zed turned to me, his lips quirking into a grin. “It is. We should do this more often.” “We should,” Erebus agreed, though his tone carried a touch

EREBUS POVThe ride back to the territory was filled with a comfortable tension, the kind that lingered between people too connected to let words truly hurt but too proud to leave certain feelings unspoken. Embry’s voice rose above the hum of the car, his tone sharp yet tinged with exasperation.“A *hug*, Erebus? You *hugged* him?” he repeated, as though saying it louder would make it more absurd. “How do you expect me not to be jealous when you pull something like that?”Zed snorted from his seat, running his fingers through Trivia’s hair as she leaned against him. “I’m more worried about how long you two were alone. It’s Alaric, after all.”“Both of you are impossible,” I muttered, gripping the wheel tighter as the road stretched endlessly before us. “It was just a hug—a *friendly* one, mind you. What was I supposed to do? Push him away?”“Yes,” they both replied in unison.I laughed despite myself, the sound cutting through the charged atmosphere. Trivia stirred slightly, her lashe
ZED'S POV The frown on my face hardened as I cut into the bacon served on my plate. I had long lost my appetite the very moment Ethan had asked for his own food and settled into the chair.I didn't want to seem like an annoying, insecure, and overprotective lover at first, which is why I didn't want to seem way too forward. I tried holding my sanity and anger, but I just couldn't avoid it.I couldn't afford to hold it in anymore, seeing how often Ethan stole glances at Trivia, who was way too busy minding her food to observe my obviously annoying brother keeping his gaze pinned to her.Even after I had given him a stern warning to clear off her and told him she was my mate, he still would not stop gawking shamelessly in her direction; it was making me sick and causing me such irritation I never had to withhold before. Filled with anger, I slammed my fork and spoon against the table, dressing all of their attention towards me while I glanced in direction.“Are you here to eat? Or her
ZEDs POV.It's been two weeks since the full moon, two weeks since we had our fight, two weeks since we last spoke of the distance between us. I wasn't entirely sure how to act or what to wish for, but I believe I already had enough. She snuggled even closer to me, and a smile settled on my lips as I watched her push her eyes open lazily before a yawn eased through her lips.“Good morning, my love." I greeted her, and she smiled faintly before pulling even closer to me.I wanted times like this to last forever—times like this when we had not a single care in the world other than being in each other's arms—this was all I wished for.“What!” She asked, giggling while my gaze remained pinned on her.“Nothing, is anything wrong?” I asked again, and she smiled faintly before letting out a gentle laughter.“You keep staring at me; it makes me anxious, you know?” She asked. I leaned forward to settle a kiss on her temples and down to her lips.“It's just that you look way beautiful each time
