Chapter 78

CLAIRE

The stifling tension in the air rippled through me as I stared at Dominik, whose eyes were filled with rage. In a split second, he pushed Aldrean to the floor and landed a hard blow on his jaw.

The difference in strength was overwhelming as they struggled. It was obvious that Dominik had the upper hand. I stood, frozen, unable to scream or call out for help. I looked to Luis and the other wolves. They were just as frozen as I was.

I needed to do something.

Acting impulsively, I ran towards Dominik and grabbed his arm before he could land another blow on Aldrean battered up face.

“Domink you need to stop hitting him!” I yelled as I continuosly yanked at his arm.

Dominik’s eyes turned to me and I shuddered at the iciness in them.

“I will deal with you later.” He snarled.

In an instance, I found myself flying in the air. I landed to the ground harshly. Dominik had thrown me to the side without even batting an eyelid.

I groaned as my back began to burn with pain. My vision was dizz
