DOMINIK's POV

I dropped the necklace down on the bed beside me as my attention was fixed on the drawer that was slightly open. From the open space, a little manila envelope popped. I immediately reached for the drawer and opened it up completely.

My eyes went wide as I gazed at the heap of letters before me. I reached for one letter and tore it open quickly. I read the words and my heart dropped. The words were familiar, too familiar and the writing belonged to me.

I tore another envelope open and read through it. I did the same for three more letters and the truth was evident. All these letters were the ones I had written and sent to Claire and Luis. How on earth had they gotten back here, to my room? I made perfectly sure that the letters were sent out.
